They have groceries and that's what we are going for.. Service is good enough to be happy.

One of the worst supermarkets I've ever been in. It reminds me of something you might see in Russia or a Third World country. Minimal choices, low stock on shelves, zero choice other than boars head for cold cuts. Also the actor they have playing in their Looks like a 1970s porn star he's horrible. read more

Just called regarding Covid vax 25/26 availability. Young woman answering phone said it has not been approved by the FDA yet. Wrong. I told her that's wrong. She then switched her answer to something about the CDC then something about StopNShop corporate. I am totally livid about misinformation and disinformation being disseminated to the public. This person should be retrained. I promptly hung up and scheduled the 25-26 Covid vac with my local Walgreens. They have it listed on their website even! StopNShop, you need to do better with ur front in person. Love ur pharmacists, but the desk help suck. read more

This supermarket sucks! Yes they have all the groceries that you can find in any grocery store but their deli sucks. No fresh prepared foods just prepackaged corporate foods. Typically there isn't even someone available to slice fresh lunch meat. Their fruits and veggies are usually old with soft spots or straight up rotten. The bakery is mediocre at best. Almost everyone who works there is miserable. It sucks because this is the main super market in our area. read more

There's Stop and shop lady is named Tamara (idk if she is heavily medicated, high, just really insecure with herself but she speaks really softly and I can barely hear. She is also very unhelpful person. Older white lady with glasses and a short brown blonde ponytail). The customer service is great and the quality of the food is great. Some of the produce is not available though. read more

Pros: - better layout and higher quality products than the local ShopRite - they just added a pick-up service - good layout - GO Reward points (didn't realize what these were for a while; download the app and turn them into free $$) - deli order ahead through the app Cons: - they rely heavily on self-checkout and often don't have more than a couple of regular checkout lines open, even during busy times - that freakin robot is the bane of my existence. They have cameras I'm sure, so why do they need this huge robot recording you and getting in your way? I actually stopped going there for months because of this thing. read more

Back again Very friendly customer service Clean and quiet store Highly recommend read more

Stop and Shop Pharmacy has the most professional and friendly staff ~! Their meats and produce are always fresh. Great store and very clean. read more

I really like the quality of the fresh produce at this store. Excellent quality and very fresh. There is also a very good selection of yogurt, including brands I normally don't find at regular grocery stores. For example White Wave Bulgarian yogurt and Brown cow yogurt. The selection of cheese was very good, I was able to find organic sliced cheese for sandwiches. I feel like this is a great store to find healthy options. read more

I only go to stop and shop for emergencies. Their products are very expensive. Much higher than Walmart , shoprite etc. read more

This store is trash. I only come here for emergency because the produce is almost always half out the bag rotten. Today was the last straw. I bought 10$ worth of yogurt and all of it had expired over A WEEK AGO. Disgusting!! Normally i would let it go and cut my losses but this is NOT the first time it's happened here. When I came to return them they gave me a hard time about accepting returns due to COVID. As if they're going to turn around and sell the rotten yogurt again? Give me a break. Then they offered me store credit. I won't ever be back. Disgusting store - save your money and time and go to shoprite. read more

Went in for a sale item and behold! out of stock! This is the second time it's happened and it strikes me as somewhat dishonest to offer a sale item, draw you into the store and not have it. There are other items available but more expensive. Maybe not dishonest but definitely a "low-rent" caper. Also-no staff to speak to either unless you want to hoof it over to customer service. I will not be shopping here anymore. read more

This place is simply not very good on every level: - The people are simply not very nice. Sometimes a random person will go out of their way to help you a tiny little bit but generally everybody here is frowning and not very helpful at all - I've used a lot of self scanning systems. These are the worst. And whenever there's a problem with your item scanning the people walk over to you with a scowl - This is something systematic to a lot of large supermarket chains, but this place is very poorly laid out. It's difficult to find what you're looking for It's not to say that there aren't some positive things about this place: they let you use a discount card even if you forgot yours, it's super convenient, and the sales can be quite good at certain times. My wife would disagree, but I just personally think there are better options in the area. read more

I've been shopping here for four years now. I like the store and it is very convenient for where I live. Worst aspect is the crowded isles with goods on sale or goods on clearance. Didn't the designer say "we need an isle this wide" and if an isle that wide was needed isn't is cluttering things when you put stuff in the isles. Best aspect is the staff. They are generally very good and friendly. They only get four stars though. If you want to see good grocery prices, take a shopping trip to Wegmans 10 miles away. read more

A decent grocery store with organic products, wine and liquor store, free parking, frozen section, clean bathrooms with a changing table, etc.. This grocery store is located near a gas station. read more

Today is my first time shopping at your store, I have never heard of this store before, because I only found out about your points when I went to PNC Bank to do errands, I spent a total of $240 in your store today, after checkout I I found out that the cashier overcharged the invoice, so I went to the customer service center, probably because it was about to get off work, the customer service person was very impatient and vicious, which surprised me! I am a restaurant owner who has been in the United States for 40 years. My restaurant has been in business for 37 years. We are all in the service industry. I hope your manager can take this matter seriously, because the staff is very uneducated and polite. I There are many customers in your restaurant who are also customers of your store. I will tell my customers: you don't have to go to your house anywhere in the supermarket. If you get angry when you go to the store to buy things, I will not go there again, and I will also tell you My restaurant guests don't go.in Pennington NJ Store read more

I LOVE this store. I'm not partial to traditional supermarkets. I more prefer to pick up my dairy at Halo Farm and then everything else next door at the Trenton Farmer's Market, but when I'm in need of a little more instant gratification, Stop& Shop it is. They carry everything I need, its never painfully crowded (leave that to the death trap that is the ShopRite on Olden), and they have quite possibly the BEST pharmacy staff ever. Everyone behind the counter knows me by name, is more than accomodating and efficient, and they even sent me a Christmas card this year. I only pick up two prescriptions once a month, but the personal touch makes it a great experience. Checkout is always quick and efficient and everyone is always very friendly. I've never had a bad experience here. read more

Very convenient neighborhood grocery, has all the stuff you expect in a grocery store, prices are ok, but not as great as ShopRite about a half mile down route 31. read more

I received a text about my Rxs and called three times the unprofessional idiot behind the Pharmacy counter was rude and hung up on me three times. This was Monday evening the 30th around 6:55pm. Overall they are a clean store with a pretty good selection of groceries. The deli carries Boars Head which is a huge plus. The Meat section is on the small side with limited selection. The prices are competitive to places like Acme and Shoprite, especially with coupons. Typically lines are fast moving and the staff is curtious. read more

Cheaper than PQM and cleaner than Shop Rite. The self-check is the best.

It's a mixed bag for me. I feel like giving separate ratings for each department, and so maybe I will. Service: 5 stars. In all of the times when I've been disappointed, upset, or shortchanged, Stop and Shop has always found a way to let me go away happy, whehter handing me cash, replacement goods, or even just a good explanation. Deli: 1 star. Except for the most straightforward deli meat experiences, I have been continuously disappointed with the service and attitude of the deli operation. Case in point: Christmas dinner was purchased here. I got the main ham package and the extras package for an extra $25 bucks. They handed me a box on time, which was all packed. I asked -- is this everything? They said yes -- I believed them, paid for it and left. Got it home to find out it was only part one, not part two. When I returned to find out what had happened, they told me they didn't see another box back there, and that I could just go collect the extra items a la carte, which I proceeded to do, except that not all of the items I ordered were still available, so I had to get creative. All that said, they let me take what I pleased without so much as a raised eyebrow. I'm fairly certain some deli worker enjoyed my box 2 free of charge, but I've no evidence of any such thing. Produce: 4 stars. Usually fresh, in abundance, and affordable. Meat: 4 stars. I don't buy a lot of meat, but when I do, it's what I want, affordable, and almost always very fresh. Dairy: 5 stars. Very good selection, rotation, and price. Whole foods isle: 4 stars. Impeccable choices, okay prices, frozen section. Frozen foods: 5 stars. Always exactly what I want, at great prices, and always as cold as it should be. Staff: 4 stars. In general, and in particular, staff are the best. There's one or two people who never fail to say hello or to smile. Register mongers are a very mixed bag. There are one or two I will avoid at all costs, but there is always self-checkout, which is fairly good for smaller orders. I really love this store -- far beyond any of the others in the area, but I wish they started over with a couple of departments. read more

I occasionally shop here because of convenience, as it's within walking distance of my home; otherwise, there's little positive that I can say about the store. The "welcome mat," so to speak, is an unsightly black stain on the pavement at the two entrances. A periodic steam cleaning of the pavement certainly would make the entrance more inviting. Shopping carts and baskets sometimes are hard to locate, as they haven't been rounded up and put in their proper storage locations. Once inside the store, it's not uncommon for the nose to be hit by the smell of dead fish or other offensive odors. Indeed, the fish are quite dead. This is the worst seafood department in the county when compared to the Pennington Market, McCaffrey's, Wegmann's, and Whole Foods. Many shelves are poorly stocked, and often leafy green vegetables are limp and look like they're ready for the compost heap. A few employees have reliable, cheerful personalities and are quick to offer assistance. Most however, avoid eye contact, are of little help, and seem to be unhappy with their job. To me, this says legions about how the store is managed. read more

The store, overall, is great. The employees are very helpful and always smiling. Produce is always fresh. Same with fish and meats. I have to say my experience at the pharmacy is by far the best I have ever had. The pharmacists and their assistants are so friendly and professional, yet they act like they have known you for years. read more

I frequent about 5 grocery stores in the area, and without a doubt this store has the loosest grip on matching it's advertised prices to the prices you get when they ring you up. I'm so sick of going back to fight with the staff over the mistakes, and having the staff act like they're doing me a favor by giving me the posted price, incredulous that they could have made a mistake. This attitude, despite the fact that every single week they post corrections about the prices/conditions advertised in their flyer. This week they had three corrections. It is so rampant that it seems intentional--the pricing mistakes are never--and I mean NEVER--in the customer's favor. read more

I am here almost every day for my lunch. Salad bar is pretty stellar, although I just go with the vegetables. Easy to get in and out of with four self checkout lanes. Folks that work there just want the workday to end, which I don't blame them. Parking lot isn't too terrible to navigate. read more

On the surface, this is a good store but it seems to be a low-end store gussied up. If you do your shopping there every week, you'll be off to another store some percentage of the time to buy something for a recipe that is out of stock (frozen peas or chili powder), or that they don't carry (gruyere cheese or Herrs potato chips). The staff is nice, but they are up against the bureaucracy - they say they order stuff but "it's taken off the list" higher up the chain. It's gotten so frustrating that I prefer to drive farther to another store when I need certain ingredients. Meat & seafood are only OK, not the best. The pharmacy however is great! read more

Almost every time I shop here, a price rings up higher than was was listed on the shelf. And when I point it out the employees act like they're doing me a favor by correcting the price. I would think this was just sloppy on Stop & Shop's part but the pricing has never, not once, been incorrect in my favor. And the registers sometimes only show the sale price AFTER you pay, which is weird because then how do you know it's being rung up right? Last complaint, the employees could be more helpful, like how about helping me bag instead of standing around doing nothing? The only reason I shop here is because it's close to home, and they have Boars Head cold cuts. read more

Shop Rite has this store beaten in every way. After ten years we have stopped shopping here because the employees have the worst attitudes I have ever seen. When you go there you are lucky if they have 3 checkout lanes open because they are trying to get you to go through the the self service lanes which don"t work too well. Also in the past I have asked if they could get certain items which guess what they never did. So once again I went to Shop Rite which had it and .they always have almost every checkout counter open. The employees at Shop Rite have always been courteous and have made our shopping experience a pleasant one. This also goes for Wegmans and Trader Joes.. The management at Stop n Shop and their Regional manager needs to visit these stores to see how a store should be run. read more
