I was pleasantly surprised by it, and I've been buying these types of products long enough to know their inventory is legit. My only gripe would be that after asking us if we were first time customers and then explaining that because we were, they needed to scan our IDs into the system, no one explained the process of making a purchase there. It's different than any other dispensary I've been to so I was kind of lost until I watched other people and realized you have to use the tablets they have around the store to find the items you want and then place a pickup order. I chose to pay at the time of pickup using my debit card. That was a strange process as well. Supposedly (I haven't looked into it) their credit card machines work like an ATM. ATMs charge a fee, theirs is $3.00. Ok, swipe the card and they give you cash. Why are they giving me cash? The "ATM" rounds up your purchase. Why does it do that? Don't know and I don't think they did either. You'd think it would be rounded to the nearest $20 since ATMs only dispense 20's but my total was rounded up to $98 and I was given $4 and change back. My gfs total was rounded up to $28. Maybe the 8 was a coincidence. It's just an odd way to take payments with all of the options available. Next time I'm ordering online and paying before I show up. I may as well have paid $98 because I ended up with $4 in my wallet that's just sitting there. Anyway, point is that they should really explain to new customers how everything works because once you are in you are on your own. No one came around to help, and after we were there figuring out the process on our own, and then deciding what we wanted for 20-30 mins, then standing in front of the counter for another 15 mins waiting to be called we were finally asked if we were there for a pickup.

They got me in really quick, and I was surprised to see they had later evening appointments and Saturday appointments-perfect for those of us who work full time for the insurance we rarely get to use because most doctors don't like working Fridays or weekends either. I got in and out very quickly, my appointment took very little time surprisingly, the office was clean and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Vaughan was honest, frank, and answered my questions addressing concerns thoroughly and efficiently without making me feel like I was keeping him or boring him (that sounds odd but I've had a few eye docs and even worked for one for a while so it's something I've experienced more than once). After my appointment I was taken to the optician, Nikki (who of course was cool as sh*% because we had the same name), and she thoroughly explained my insurance, and helped me find a pair of glasses that not only looked good on my stupid-shaped face, but had beneficial attributes for me -like being lightweight and not giving me a headache because of where they sit on my ears. I also want to say that their selection of glasses was much better than other places I've been to in the area. They didn't all look exactly alike and their was a variety of brands and styles, and they didn't look like my mother or grandmothers glasses from 1980. I even found sunglasses I liked-which was important to me because I wear them for driving and get migraines. My glasses were ordered and I was out in like an hour from beginning to end. My glasses came in about a week as expected, and they gave me a few extra cleaning cloths and solution that they would refill for free anytime-unheard of in my experience and really awesome for those of us who clean their glasses frequently. This is also where the unique hours really helped me out because I didn't have to take off work to go pick them up! And I know if I ever need them adjusted I won't have to take off for that either. I can highly recommend Vaughan Vision for fast, friendly, and especially convenient service.

They have my favorite spelt wraps and love their nut varieties. I also love that they carry safe chemical-free make-ups and products.
