One of their vultures got really pushy when they found out what my bank approved me for (A fraction of what I was realistically going to spend on a car, which they knew.) My father was car shopping here and had the salesman start shit-talking other dealerships in town when he brought them up... needless to say, awkward. Welcome to Stones BURN CITY Kia. Don't buy a used car from these crooks. I bought a 2019 Kia Sorento last june. They represented to me that the car had not been in any accidents. A few weeks after I bought the car the bumper had a big crack in it so I thought somebody had hit me in a parking lot or something. As the weeks passed the bumper started to crack like a spider web design and then it actually started to melt like candle wax. I filed an insurance claim, my deductible is only $250 so it wasn't a big deal. Lo and behold the insurance tells me that it's some bondo cover up to pre existing damage and my insurance wouldn't cover it because it was a pre-existing accident that happened prior to me insuring the car. I thought to myself, Kia must not have known, they certainly wouldn't have done this on purpose. So I called them up and asked them to help make it right and fix the car because my insurance wouldn't cover it. What's a few thousand dollars to a dealership, I don't have the $ to fix it since my insurance won't cover it. I was actually really surprised that they said NO. I asked if they would consider paying half, nope! I asked if they had an auto body shop that they could call in a favor and maybe get me a discounted price or help me out in any way trying to get it fixed...nope. In fact, they accused me of doing the cover up. I said I would show them an insurance denial, proof that my deductible is only $250 which seems like pretty reasonable evidence supporting the fact that I didn't do the Bondo cover up. They won't even look at the evidence they're just going to go with their position that I did the Bondo cover up job and its not their problem. So now I have a car with a melting front end that I paid full price for and have depreciated value. Way to go Stones BURN CITY Kia, you guys are real Champs!!! read more

This review is specifically for the service department. I had no interaction with sales or finance. The employees in the service department were very professional. My wife and I were in the area from Texas for a couple of weeks. Our car broke down on Hwy 20 north of Idaho Falls on a Saturday afternoon. We were without a vehicle until Monday. Kia roadside towed our car to Stones Kia without any issues. We showed up Monday morning as soon as they opened to see about repairs. The service department was nothing but helpful and accommodating. They had our car ready to go the same day within a few hours and explained everything that we needed to know and got us safely back on the road. read more

For three years I've been bringing my Sorento to Stones for maintenance. I have been very impressed with their service department. My car was purchased from a dealer in another state but that was never an issue with them. In June I brought my car in to them and decided to take a peek at upgrading. I brought my Kia optima in for its final free service today and I had brought up the fact that the car wash they have scratched my car the hood really bad and the roof it goes all the way down the vehicle, i had called the day it happens to see if they would fix it because all it would take is just a wax, needless to say I was told to contact the service manager in which I did and left a message I never herd back from him so I called again, I had a service coming up so I figured I would address it then as I was telling the sales manager that was supposed to call me who never returned my call what happend and showing him he got very defensive and said it was from dogs or something else it could not be his car wash that by standards is subpar they have very little to no soap so when u go through if you have any dust or dirt on your car it very well could have caused those scratches in very disappointed with stones Kia and honestly will never return here for any reason whatsoever most places would have said ok I see your frustration and what can we do I was not asking for a new paint job but it was there car wash that scratched my car, facts so obviously when u can't even get a return call when u leave several messages I guess I should have expected this regardless of them not being affected if I return to purchase another car from them I will not and would never refer or use this company again to have the service manager all but call u a liar and be super aggressive in the fact he knew there was no way it could be his car was well sir I disagree not only was it your car wash but the fact u avoided calling me back to address the issue makes me feel like u knew it was your fault by not calling back u felt like I would just say never mind. so to anyone thinking of buying or using stones Kia in Idaho falls run fast and far in my eyes they are nothing but true car salesman CROOKS! sighed a very dissatisfied veteran read more

Ladies- how many of you have been taken advantage of in the car buying/ selling experience? As a single mom with two young children, driving into ID Falls from out of state to buy a car (and trade in my car), the guys at Stones IKEA could have taken advantage of me. But they did not. Stones IKEA did what they promised over the phone, and took care of my children and I... even helping me to program the audio and kids DVD for a smooth ride back home. Shout out to Johnny- great job! These guys are the definition of stealerships. They'll add insane markups on new and used cars and have the gull to call it "Freedom Price" instead of the actual name dealer markups. Their service is trashy. I got the smart glass for the windshield. One of the sales consultants, Jeremy Scow said to ask about the smart glass appointment when I get the oil changed. So when I did, one of the service people, Jennifer said that it's been installed already. They installed it on a day that I wasn't even in town. So how would they install it if the car itself, wasn't in town on the day they said they installed it? read more

I bought my wife a brand new 2017 kia forte 5 in july of 2017 in november of 2019 we noticed rust around the back window we reported in to stones kia they told us that it would be covered under warranty 4weeks later they come back and tell us we have to many miles on it and that kia will only cover a third of what it cost to fix it i called kia them selves and the woman on the phone just kept telling how warranty works well i know how it works but in my opinion if a three year old car is rusting then its a manufacturers defect in the paint but they wont do any thing about it so to every one out there if your thinking about buying a kia unless you want to replace your every 6 years do to rust go buy something else read more

This review is years overdue. We love Stones Kia! Love their oil change price. We get all our service done there, they have techs that work on cars other than Kias- yep, you heard right so we take our 07 Jeep Liberty and 02 Ford Focus there. The Focus we just want to keep running for around town and they totally respect that. They tell us everything that could be done but then also only what *needs* to keep it running to and from work. I wanted to try and replace the side mirror myself and they totally supported me, if I got stuck anywhere in the process they said they would've been happy to help me know how to finish or if I didn't feel like I could finish it they would do it and prorate it according to what I got done. (I ended up doing it all so I didn't take them up on their offer but I believe they would have!) They do a quick vacuum and free car wash after service. They have an text system that notifies you when they start working on your car, the inspection info and when they finish. Couldn't recommend them enough! read more

I went to look at a car pre-approved from somewhere else. They insisted they could get me a better rate so I have them a go. After they ran my credit they wouldn't come down on the price even 500$ told me they couldn't do anything for me even though I was approved from another lender. Then insulted my girlfriends and my self. Even laughed at me at one point. The sells man told us it was a lease trade in and then the finance guy said it was from auction. They couldn't even get their lies straight. I would of left with a car if they would of worked with us at all. Even when my girlfriend asked about a car she was brushed off and treated sub human. I've never been treated so bad in my life specially with money in hand and I drove an hour to look at the car. They lost out on selling me a car and a second car cause she is looking to.
