I now know that this is a thing, but I was not prepared to pay 1100$ on a windshield change, when A1 windshield does all of it for only 600$. They also did a poor job on the windshield. The trim around the windshield is sticking out, and there was parts of it hanging on the inside of the car. Costumer service told me I should have caught all of that before hand.
