Kyle is the man. I financed my condo through him a couple years ago and forgot to leave a review. Today I called him up about another property in a state Stonehaven could not do business in. Despite not being able to help with the loan - Kyle went out of his way to help me assess the market and opportunity. If you want great insights, rates and fast closings, call Kyle. Five stars! read more

I was very fortunate to have worked with Kyle and StoneHaven for my home purchase. Kyle is knowledgeable, highly responsive and personable. My closing was smooth and painless because Kyle explained the process clearly and found ways to enhance negotiation with the seller. He even went above and beyond to provide tips that would increase my credit score that much more. Because of how pleased I was with the process, I am leveraging Kyle's expertise to refinance my current loan. I look forward to working with StoneHaven in the future. read more

Working with Kyle and his team made our home buying process completely stress free. They were there for every question no matter how big or small and worked extremely hard to close us faster than I thought was going to be possible. I never want to move again bc moving is basically the biggest pain, but if we ever purchase again, I would look forward to working with them again as they made this entire process worry free. read more

Wow, Kyle was amazing! Very knowledgeable and a hard worker. He also stays on top of everything! So before Stonehaven, I went with another lender based on the recommendation of a friend. However, the other lender was super slow and incompetent. After telling me the deal was good to go and solid, I just needed my final divorce paper and they can finalize everything. Well, when I submitted the final divorce papers, the lender tells me that they can't approve the "property". Of course, they tell me this 3 months after all the paperwork on the property was submitted and the earnest money was already non-refundable. I was furious and upset that I was going to lose my earnest money. Luckily, the seller recommended StoneHaven and he was able to help me close on my place before the end of the year. Kyle also helped boost my credit score by advising me on what to do to improve it quickly. Very friendly guy as well! I highly recommend Stonehaven! read more

Kyle and his team made the entire process seamless and efficient. Everything was clearly explained and making our refinance completely stress free. I can't recommend them enough!! Thanks again! read more

I recommend Kyle at Stonehaven primarily because if you're serious about buying, he will make it happen in 45 days. We bought a single family home with Stonehaven in 2019. RNP was our broker. The process started on 1/4/19 with the pre-approval and offer. We followed everything Kyle recommended. For me, what mattered the most is that Kyle answered our questions or concerns within minutes, not hours and he always answers the phone when we call. We're closing on 2/27/19. Trust his advice and do what he asks; we're proof that Kyle give great service to clients. read more

Kyle was amazing to work with! He was recommended by our realtor (along with a list of other brokers) and by far he was the easiest to work with, the most transparent and helpful, super responsive, and most importantly - he had the best rates! I loved working with Stonehaven on the purchase of our home and only wish I knew about them when we bought our first one! I would give Kyle 10 stars if I could and recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new house! read more

My husband and I had the privilege of working with Kyle on our recent house purchase. I would give him 10 stars if i could. He was absolutely amazing in every way you need a lender to be! He was responsive, he was organized, he was fast, he was extremely personable and very knowledgable. We knew whenever we had a question we could reach out to Kyle and he would be there to guide us in the right direction. In fact, our Lawyer and Realtor were so impressed with him as well that they asked for his contact information in hopes of working with him in the future. I would highly highly recommend Kyle! i am so happy we were referred to him and look forward to working with him in the future! read more

I switched to Kyle because he came highly recommended by my agent - my previous lender was slow and I had missed out on a few opportunities. Kyle stepped in and immediately got everything I needed in a timely fashion. He explained things very clearly, hit every deadline, and locked me into good rates considering my financial situation. I'd definitely work with him again. read more

I worked with Mike Wieczorek from your Lender Mike at Stonehaven Mortgage. It was a horrible experience and I would never recommend him to anyone!!!! We live in Minnesota but own a rental property in Chicago. We were trying to refi and pull equity out to help do construction on our main home for our handicap child. Needless to say this was an important transaction for us to help our child and to access as much money as possible. After the first deal was not the amount of money we thought we were going to get back... whether it was our not understanding (brokers job to make sure customers understand the lingo and terminology) or Mike not reading our emails where we specifically would ask is this how much cash we will get back for this amount. We stopped that deal. Since we already had a locked in interest rate with him and had spent 2 months dealing with this we changed the deal to get the amount of money back we needed and proceeded with him. The DAY OF CLOSING Mike sent us a new closing disclosure with $885 less the cash back then we had decided on THE DAY BEFORE. It was to update my husband to the title...which we did ask him to do early on but we had also asked many many times before that if the numbers were final cost to everything we wanted and he said yes. Then the day of closing he has another $885 deductions when I asked if I needed to do this he made it seem like we had to and it was too late in the game. Since being out of state the notary already had the final paperwork with the new $885 charges. Then during the closing which was done at our home in Minnesota with an out of state notary we had questions on the paperwork ...he said of course in an email to call him if this happened. When we did HE WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND HAD ONE OF HIS TEAM MEMBER RETURN OUR CALL . The team member who called us back Matt Plumer was amazing but also could only help us as much as possible since he came in after the fact. And to top it off missing from the closing paperwork was the actual funds transfer form that you need to actually get your money sent to you. That missing form controls the cash back money and the reason we went through all this headache. When I discovered that form was missing from closing docs I called and was told that I would need to wait on getting that form sent to me and that I should send the notary home since that important form you know the one that gets us our money did not need to be notarized. Luckily Matt Plumer NOT Mike did finally send me the funds transfer form later that day (at 5pm on Friday so thank you Matt for working late) and guess what IT DID NEED TO BE NOTARIZED....another issue in this nightmare closing and refi situation. Luckily Matt Plumer...NOT Mike stepped in with the title company and got them to waive the notary requirement on the document so we at least could get our money on time. Mike has great social media presence, slick pictures, and a fun go get em attitude...but he in reality only cares about closing deals and not about the actual customer needs. To him our cash back refi was just another commission but to us it means being able to put in a handicap ramp for our 5 year old son. I wish I would have not worked with Mike and found someone who actually took the time to care and explain things to his customers. read more

Very disappointed in my dealings with this company. Called for a refi - was referred by a friend. I should have known when my friend told me he had no closing costs. Told him that was impossible. Of course he had closing costs - backed into the new refi but did not know that. My contact was the owner who never called me and I got Brian. This company is not transparent. I asked very specific questions, what are my closing costs - and is this everything I have to pay at closing. And then after saying $1700 dollars - there was then the appraisal which was never discussed, the paying upfront for the taxes, the PMI insurance and a couple of more. I went with another company that was a 3.25 instead of 3.5 and he was honest about the closing costs which came in at about $2200 and the taxes. Taxes I would get back in about a month for the current mortgage company. Fortunately, I am more familiar with this process than my friend was, and I asked all the right questions after my quote via phone. Then when I asked for all the numbers in writing, Brian could not give me in writing as he said I have given you everything via phone and they don't put in writing until you agree to use them. All of this was more than had to believe. Everyone has to be careful in this day and age as there are many who simply don't know any better. read more

We were referred to Kyle and told he gives great credits to his clients and is fantastic at what he does! Kyle helped us finance the purchase of our first home. He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. He also answered any questions we had, which seemed like a lot. Our closing only lasted 45 minutes as we did not have to wait for funding authorization. Our attorney said Kyle was the reason the closing went so quickly! Kyle also credits the fee for his services as well as the appraiser fee. AND he expedited our appraisal. Overall a very streamlined process. We would highly recommend Kyle! read more
