After falling through with 2 other mortgage brokers I finally contacted Chris Kinsella - and he…read moreblew any other broker out of the water, not only with his professionalism, but with his personal level of service to my wife and me. Chris is one of the main reasons we own a home today. I'm going to keep this short and sweet - Chris isn't going to make you feel hopeful about getting your home, he's not going to give you false expectation, he's not going to tell you anything you don't need to hear. He's real - incredibly honest and upfront about your financial situation and what you can do with it. Other people I worked with kept giving me a false sense of hope for what I could afford, and then everything would fall through last minute. This is so heartbreaking when you find a place you really want. This industry is so competitive you can't afford to have these kind of issues with professionals you're working with. The banking industry isn't one you want to mess with. They will scour your every penny, every bank account, everything to make sure you can afford your place. When you work with a broker you want someone who accurately reflects your situation. Back to Chris: after searching for nearly 6 months and finally finding the place we could both afford and one that we actually wanted, we became very close to loosing the property due to dealing with 2 finance companies that messed up our numbers. I had previously contacted Chris and been in touch with him to ask random questions, even when I was working with other companies. He was always patient and super happy to help me no matter the situation. When I finally called him at the 11th hour of closing, desperate for someone to give me a real sense of what I needed to do (pay off credit cards, a car loan, etc) - Chris stuck by to the very end and made it work out for us. I can honestly say that Chris is one of the main factors that we own a home today. Don't mess with other companies. Don't price shop when it comes to your loan. Other financial companies might offer you free appraisals, discounted rates, etc - but it's all pointless if they don't get the job done. Your home is worth it.

My husband and I own 4 properties (1 personal and 3 rentals) and regularly monitor the interest rate environment, actively refinancing when it makes monetary sense. We had a long-term broker relationship with another group so I had little intention of switching when I walked in - just wanted to get a quote to make sure my current relationship was competitive. Turns out, Mega Mortgage was incredibly competitive, so much so that we immediately locked in a rate and refinanced. I tried to get my prior broker relationship to match Mega's rate but they couldn't do it... The entire underwriting process was extremely seamless - much less so that prior refinances we've done. We worked with Artur Bartosik from beginning to end so no passing off to more junior folks that don't have a good sense of the process; if you've ever refinanced with a big bank, you know how amazingly frustrating this can get. My husband moved jobs over the summer, so employment verification/salary could have been a pain, but Artur and team understood the situation without a hitch. Also, Artur responds to my texts (my preferred method of communication) which I appreciate. At close, Artur came to our home to sign documents which was much more convenient since we have young kids so didn't have to arrange childcare. With the recent rate drop this week, Artur at Mega Mortgage is pricing out additional quotes for our other properties which is likely to result in a second transaction within a month! Couldn't be happier that I casually walked into Mega's new office - great relationship-focused group of individuals that provide superior pricing.

My wife and I are older now and really dont know anything about this stuff, so we had to take a shot and put our trust in someone. After talking to several companies I decided that Michelle sounded the most trustworthy and thank god I was right. Was something about the way she carried herself over the phone. Too keep this short. I'll say she held our hands throughout the entire process and made sure we would understand everything. She got us exactly the rate we were hoping for which saved us almost $200.00a month. On what was a $750.00 a month mortgage I'd say that's pretty amazing. So, In closing , all I can say is that you will absolutely not find a better and more honest person to go through. Smart Mortgage should damn well be proud to have an agent like her working for them. And to us , that makes Smart Mortgage the only way to go , especially if your older like us and need someone you can trust. Thank You Michelle, Your the Best Bruce and Barb Baxter

This was super frustrating since nothing changed in my situation from the time I initiated the loan procedure and from the beginning the loan officer told me I was qualified. He assured me i would get the home purchase loan. I was strung along for over two months with a home under contract to purchase. This is unacceptable. Then denied. I was able to obtain a loan with a local bank but this process by Perl Mortgage was a total waste of time. I would never attempt to use them again and would not recommend you use them. Thank you Ken for your reply. I obtained a loan immediately through Quicken Loans and own another home. I appreciate your response but it's done and over. Hopefully your offices can learn from this situation and evaluate the circumstances earlier to avoid undue stress to the client. Again thank you.

After doing some research, I came across Pam Harambasic's name on the internet and decided to reach out to her to ask some questions and to find out whether we (as potential first time buyers) would qualify for a loan. Since we had not gone through this process before, my spouse and I were unsure of what to ask or even how to get started. When we initially spoke to Pam over the phone the first things that stood out was that she was very personable and knowledgeable, which put us at ease and help to guide us towards our decision to buy rather than continue to rent. Pam met with us for coffee in our neighborhood and walked us through the details of the process for home buying. What my spouse and I enjoyed, was that she not only dealt with the business of applying for a home loan, but she also took the time to get to know us and to allow us to know a little bit about her, which helped build trust and made us confident that we had partnered with the right person to take us through this process. My spouse and I found a place that we wanted to buy two days after our face to face meeting with Pam. Throughout the entire process in applying for a home loan, Pam kept us informed, answered all of our questions, was incredibility responsive, transparent, professional and reassuring. The whole time along, we felt lucky to be working with someone who helped ensure that the process for us was smooth and relatively stress free. We are now in our new home and absolutely love it! We really appreciate Pam and happily recommend her to others. Should we need her services in the future, we would not hesitate to reach out to her. We could not have asked for a better experience or more outstanding Mortgage Advisor.
