After our daughter was born we decided it was time to start considering the suburbs. We had narrowed it down to the towns along the BNSF Metra line, as my husband still had to commute to Chicago for work. Hinsdale, Western Springs, Downers Grove and La Grange were all in consideration but neither my husband nor I are from the Chicago area originally and we didn't quite know how to make a decision or how to get started in the process of selling our Lincoln Park condo and make the move. Enter... Bryan Bomba. By doing a little internet research we found Bryan and contacted him. He was great from the start. He personally met with us a few weeks after our initial phone discussion to take us on a tour of the towns we were considering. We hadn't even listed our condo yet, so Bryan knew we weren't even close to being ready to buy, but he spent several hours with us showing us the area and walking us through some different houses in our price range just to see what we could get for the money we had. He is an expert in every aspect of the near west suburbs. He knows them in and out and can answer, with confidence, any questions you have about schools, downtown "life" such as restaurants and shops, and can give an excellent description of the "feel" for each different town. We took a few different trips out to see some different properties, and each time, Bryan met us and answered our many questions. By early 2010, we were ready to put our condo on the market. We were shocked and thrilled to get an offer on it within the first week. The only stipulation was that the buyer wanted us out in one month! In a panic, we again called Bryan who assured us that he would find us a house within that time frame. He held that promise, and we were happily settled into our new life in the suburb of La Grange only one month after listing our condo in the city. Luckily we found a house that was already vacant so the transition went very smoothly. We enjoyed 5 great years in La Grange but as our family grew, we decided that it might be a better fit for us to move a little further west where you can get a little more house for your money due to the greater distance from the city. We came to this conclusion fairly quickly and settled on Geneva as our destination. Once again, we called Bryan, told him we were ready to list our house, and put the added pressure on him that we REALLY wanted to sell within 3 months in order to be in Geneva by the time the second half of the school year began. Bryan and his team got us up and running within a matter of days... and our house sold in just under the 3 months as we had requested and Bryan had estimated. The bottom line is that Bryan and his team are excellent at what they do. They know the ins and outs of the entire process and put their clients' minds at ease no matter what side of the deal (buying or selling) you are on. We would recommend The Bryan Bomba Group wholeheartedly and without hesitation. - Dan and Kelley Williams read more

We are two working professionals with young kids, so did not have a lot of time to devote to our home search. We also knew virtually nothing about the area (coming from downtown) and needed extra help. Bryan was quickly able to assess what our needs were - he actively listened and developed an impressive understanding of what we wanted. He gave us a thorough overview of the neighborhoods. After our first day together, he knew what we liked and didn't. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the entire Hinsdale/Clarendon Hills market - including what's about to come online, past valuations, sub-neighborhood/block characteristics that might be good or bad for us, school systems, builder reputation/quality, home features (everything from ceiling height to quality of the HVAC system, including details that we never knew mattered, but did), etc. We quickly built a trusted relationship. He was always candid and professional, and said "no" to us when something wasn't the right match from our online "window shopping" (importantly, he was always right...). His candor was well appreciated. Throughout the process - and still today - it felt like a relationship, not a transaction. When it was time to make an offer, Bryan had thoughtful perspectives on valuation and negotiation strategy. His approach was data-driven, which is exactly what we wanted. Bryan also set us up with contacts at the schools (we had an unusual situation), contractors, and other service providers. He worked minor miracles with the seller and contractors to meet a tight schedule. We were impressed by his comprehensive final walk through process that also covered maintenance tips. We would highly recommend working with Bryan to anyone in the market in the western suburbs. read more

As a Chief Marketing Officer, I know a thing or two about marketing. No matter what you are selling - a product, service or even a house - there is an essential link between establishing a successful marketing campaign and making a sale. In hiring Bryan to sell our house and find our expanding family a new home, I knew he understood the difference in marketing to sell. Many brokers tell you they can sell your home, but the "how" and "to who" are the most important factors. That's where Bryan is different. When he first visited our home, he walked through assessing the pros and cons of our house. When he was done, he came up with a comprehensive marketing plan and target buyer, which led to us selling our house within one week. This was only possible with Bryan's expertise in marketing, long history and in-depth knowledge of real estate and his comprehensive staff. Not only was his team readily available for any and all needs, but Bryan was as well. His entire team was professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. Not only did he help us sell our house -- and sell it fast-- but he also found our next home. In addition, he assisted us in the timing and all the other logistical details that go along with selling and buying a home. His contacts and up-to-date reminders made a normally painful process, painless. I cannot thank Bryan and his team enough for helping us start this next chapter of our lives. I highly recommend using The Bryan Bomba Group at Coldwell Banker. For our next move, I wouldn't use anyone else! read more

If you are looking for a real estate agent in Hinsdale, look no further than Bryan Bomba and his group! They all truly go out of their way to help make the home buying process as smooth as can be. Upon first meeting Bryan and Laura, they were extremely professional and helped us understand the different parts of Hinsdale, and which areas we should look in that would best suit our needs. When showing us houses, they explained the advantages and disadvantages of each property in regards to the specific needs of our family and current situation--they didn't simply give each property a glowing review, which I really appreciated. Once we found our perfect home, they continued to give us information and resources to help us make our transition as smooth as can be (i.e. provided information for movers, utilities, builders, contractors, cleaning services, school information, locksmiths, etc...the list goes on!). And, they are very quick to respond to any concern or inquiry we may have had (and continue to have!). It is apparent this group is highly experienced and provides superior attention and detail to all aspects of the home buying experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this group for all of your real estate needs as they truly go above and beyond to make the home buying process as easy as can be!! My husband and I chose to hire The Bryan Bomba Group to both sell our existing home and purchase 2 of our homes. Bryan and his team were extremely professional throughout the entire process of both buying and selling real estate. They made sure we were comfortable and informed every step of the way. He and all members of his team are accessible and timely with their communication. They also produced wonderful marketing materials to create high traffic to our house on all of the relevant websites. He has an accurate pulse on the market at all times and gives candid feedback when needed. Bryan's vast knowledge and experience with the market, savvy negotiation skills, and his undeniable reputation in the area for excellence made this a no-brainer for us. An added incentive of working with Bryan and his team is the network that he has to support your needs as a home owner and seller. His vendor list is extensive and well vetted. In 2013, our family was given a temporary expat assignment in France. We knew that we needed to rent our home in Hinsdale and contacted Bryan for advice. In spite of knowing that he would make no commission, he advised us to move forward with an offer we had received from friends as that was, in his opinion, the best course of action for us. Little did we know that this would be the beginning of an 8 year relationship with Bryan, relying on him for his professional and expert advice with each subsequent rental and eventual sale. We can't imagine how stressful each and every transaction would have been (4 different tenants and the sale of our home over the eight years) without Bryan's guidance, knowledge and contacts. He was always a phone call away and was always available. Bryan never adhered to the "24 hour rule" of returning a call but more like the "within the hour or less". We can honestly say in all of the time that we worked with Bryan, he never dropped the ball once - not once. The same can be said of the talented, competent and loyal team that he has assembled over the years. For anyone in need of a real estate agent, whether buying, selling, renting or just for solid advice, we unequivocally recommend Bryan Bomba. read more

We first met Bryan Bomba and his group 4 years ago while searching for a home in Hinsdale. We quickly realized what set him and his group appart from other brokers in the area. During our 3 month home search, Bryan and his group understood our needs and worked within our budget to find a starter home. Even with us working full time, the team always met our needs and fit us into their schedules without difficulty. We were so pleased with his knowledge, determination, and personalized treatment with our initial home, we decided to have his group organize the sale of our home during the fall of 2018. This was when Bryan and his team really shined. Beautiful pictures, staging consultations and showings were well organized and never made living through a sale uncomfortable. With a large surplus of homes on the market, Bryan and his marketing team were able to secure a sale within 60 days. He not only worked to sell our home, but also provided solid recommendations for repair services, moving companies, and real estate lawyers. Again, I fully recommend Bryan Bomba and his team without hesitation for either your home purchase or sale. read more

After interviewing several local real estate brokers for the sale of our Hinsdale home, we chose Bryan Bomba could not have been more pleased with his work on our behalf. Bryan has deep knowledge of our local real estate market and his marketing plan was like no other. Bryan spared no expense in marketing our home and it made all the difference in a very tough market. His listing "brochure" was a hardcover photo book containing dozens full size photos of exterior and interior of our home. Along with their impressive online marketing plan, Bryan's team also placed full-page newspaper ads and sent individual mailers. Bryan's team was in constant contact with us, anticipating every question we had (and some we didn't know to ask). But it was Bryan who called us to give feedback from every showing. Within a couple of months of hitting the market, we received an offer, just before Covid 19 changed our world. With Bryan's knowledge, skill and guidance, we were able to negotiate a contract, close and move during the pandemic. We cannot recommend Bryan and his team highly enough. They are the best of the best! read more

My husband and I have worked with Bryan Bomba and his team to sell one house and to buy 2 other ones and rent one of pur houses on a continual basis. Specifically we worked woth Laura Rooney. She has been very professiinal and has gone out of her way to help us. The last house we purchased was from living in Europe. She sent us detailed videos of the houses we were interested in and gave us the pros and cons of each. We bought our second house from one of her videos. That is how much we trust her judgement! Amytime we needed the owner Bryan to look at a house for a second opinion he gladly did and would give us the good and bad. When we moved here from Europe she was really sweet and bought us all presents - her taste in wine is very good . Also she was willing to help us with anything we needed. She was even willing to meet plumbers, electricians etc at the house for us if since she knew we had a lot to do with our international move. She has really gone beyond the necessary that you wpuld expect a real estate agent to! I highly recommend Bryan and his team! read more

Bryan and his team did an excellent job for us from start to finish. We first signed up with Bryan because he is well known and knowledgeable in our market. He gave great advice on where to price our house, what to do to stage our house, and then how to negotiate the sale. He was accessible whenever we needed him and he always explained our options and his recommendations. Throughout the process, his team was responsive and organized in terms of what we needed to do and when we needed to do it. When we needed outside help (e.g. contractors, attorneys, etc.), Bryan had access to reliable and responsive people at each step along the way. When we started to show the house, he brought qualified buyers and we always had ample warnings before showings. When it was all said and done, we spent 2 months getting our house ready and only 18 days on the market. As importantly, we closed at 96% of our asking price. This is largely due to Bryan's common sense, pragmatic and honest guidance. I would highly recommend Bryan and his team. read more

Bryan and his team did an excellent job selling our home, and I would highly recommend them. When I interviewed Bryan about his home selling strategy, I was very impressed with his offering. The pictures and video were significantly better quality than other agents and you could tell his team was there to make sure shots were taken from the correct angles to highlight the best features of the house. The photographer even used drones to capture the backyard and neighborhood for prospective buyers. Our home was vacant when we decided to put it up for sale, The Bryan Bomba group made it easy for us to move on and enjoy our new home. They set us up with a fabulous staging company, did weekly wellness checks and let in any contractors that needed to do work so that I did not have to keep driving back to our former home. With Bryan's help over previous months we focused our search down to two unique properties. Bryan brought to our attention a unit in our top ranked property within hours of its listing. Within 24 hours, Bryan helped us tour the property, provided us with helpful comps and the market metrics we needed to secure the unit in a multiple bid situation. Bryan guided us to craft an offer that was attractive to the seller beyond just our offer price. Once our offer was accepted, members of Bryan's team got involved and guided us through various stages of the transactions up to and including the closing.
