I was interested in their basic sourdough - two sizes available. The smaller ones were still too warm to slice, so I opted for the larger loaf. It's deceiving just how large this loaf is when it's on the rack, but sliced and bagged it was almost the length of my arm! And very reasonably prized at $13. They come in a freezer bag too! I also learned pepperoni rolls are one of the WV state food and this establishment won best pepperoni roll 4 times, so we tried those as well. So very good - it was a pretzel roll with prepperoni inside. We were lucky enough to get 2 or their 4 remaining cinnamon rolls. The lady helping us said they are worth every calorie and she was not exaggerating one bit! We took a bite of them in the parking lot before we left and I walked back in for the last two to take home and freeze. (Sorry for those after me!). They also offer local and delicious sounding jams, cheese, cheese, milks, and some little trays of cheese that would be perfect for an impromptu picnic with one of their pull apart baguettes. They also offer beverages in a cooler case. Super friendly team working there with absolutely high quality and delicious items. Definitely check them out if you visit Harper's Ferry or surrounding areas. I'm sure anyone local also knows how special this place is. Next time I'm back in that area, I'll definitely work Bolivar Bread Bakery into my plans! (There is some (limited) street parking out front and a small parking lot in the back of the building.)

I went in to Stone Werks today with my four young sons to get my wife's dad a birthday gift. I can not attest to taste, as I did not eat anything, but the owners are about the friendliest people in the world. My wife called ahead of time to ask about a menu to streamline going in a shop disabled with 4 kids. August was very helpful telling us where to park to accommodate my handicap. My kids, however, can attest to taste. They all said what they tested was very delicious. The owners were so friendly to me and my kids, they packaged up the gift with extra care and attention. They talked about how they donate 10% of their profits to veteran's groups, and were just very genuinely nice people. I really appreciate people being friendly to my children. Grant it my kids are typically well behaved, but still sometimes other businesses bulk at kids in the shop. Not Stone Werks, they were so friendly and talked to my children like they were actual people! I also appreciate that even though they were welcoming to my kids, the atmosphere is sophicated and would be a nice quiet place to read a book, drink a coffee, have a cupcake. It is a nice little shop, I will take my wife next week for a date. I don't see how anyone could regret stopping by, the best shop in Boonsboro. Black velvet cupcakes, vanilla brown sugar iced coffees, and the kindness of the owners and employees changed my life. I've never been a "regular" before, anywhere. Even when I was only coming in once a week, August, Elisabeth, Calli, and Billy knew my order. I'd often get wide faux-shocked eyes when I switched up my plain coffee freeze with whip for something else. There was one day when I was having a particularly rough day, and all I wanted was a black velvet. They appeared to be out, but August pulled a fresh-from-the-oven cupcake from the back for me. I thought this kind of friendly, feels-like-home coffee shop vibe was a made up thing you only see in movies. Elisabeth and August are so genuine. Calli has such a lovely and sweet demeanor that really makes you feel taken care of. Billy makes you feel like you've been friends for years. Their baked goods are delightful. Their coffee is 100 times better and more fairly priced than any garbage you can get at Starbucks. But the atmosphere and environment are beyond compare. They're also pet-friendly which is an amazing bonus. Looking for the menu? It's written on the display window, and they erase items as they sell out. Not only do they serve AMAZING Coffee from Black Rifle Brewing Co, but the Sweets and Savory Breakfast selections are OUT OF THIS WORLD!! They go above and beyond to support Veterans & Veteran Owned Businesses, Feature LOCAL Businesses by offering their products at the bakery, Give Back to the Local Schools & they provide a Pet Friendly environment. I really enjoy stopping by StoneWerks Coffee & Sweets in Boonsboro. It has the feel of a true neighborhood coffee shop -- great coffee, friendly people, and a comfortable place to sit for a while. The coffee is always excellent, but the "sweets" part of the name deserves just as much attention. Their baked goods are not an afterthought. You can tell real care and skill goes into them, whether it is something simple to go with your coffee or one of their more creative treats. It gives the place the feel of a small-town bakery and coffee shop rolled into one. What also stands outs to me is the way the owners and staff treat customers. You can tell they care about regular customers, new visitors, and the community around them. Boonsboro is lucky to have a place like this. I definitely recommend stopping in. read more

We are so glad we spotted this place. We had the cheddar quiche and cinnamon rolls. Both were fresh and perfectly heated. First, the quiche - warm, cheesy, fluffy but firm, and best of all NO gross pastry crust! Perfection. Second, the cinnamon roll - best cinnamon roll either of us has ever had. And we have had some good homemade rolls. Light, perfectly buttery savory with oodles of well blended sweet glaze, not a bit of sugary crystals. Wonderful flavor combinations. Not only is this place just pretty to look at on Main Street, and the treats delectable, but the owners are so extremely NICE. I went in with my friend after the gym this morning and casually mentioned it was my anniversary- well, then they wouldn't charge me for the macaroons and said it was their gift to me and my husband! How incredibly nice is that!? I've had a cupcake. flourless brownie, and coconut macaroons so far. All were amazing!! If you're ever in Boonesboro, MD, stop in at Stone Werks Coffee + Sweets...I'm not a coffee drinker, but my hubby says it's quite good; bold and smooth with no bitterness (and he is very picky about his coffee). They do offer teas and other great drinks. The sweets they create and bake (now that's my thing)...best sweets I have ever had at any bake shop (and I've been to quite a few). I've lived in Boonsboro for about 4 years, and I've always loved this place. I've always been treated with respect by tbe staff, and today I was ordering a hot cocoa when my server told me it was on the house. It was super kind of her and thats what inspired me to write this. We love coming here on Saturdays with our daughter. Not only are the cupcakes and other desserts amazing and unique, Elisabeth and August are always so nice, going out of their way to make every visit as wonderful as our first, especially for our daughter. I selected an iced Coco's London Earl Grey Milk Tea (a London Fog) and an egg & cheese breakfast sandwich on fresh-baked ciabatta. The staff told us that all of the sourdough-based breads are baked on the premises daily, and it shows. The ciabatta was soft, airy and delicious. I really enjoyed the Earl Grey Milk tea. All in all, this is a wonderful new addition to the Hagerstown area, and I hope it continues to grow and flourish in the future.

Since I'd never been to a Korean bakery before, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. But I knew I was feeling cake. I posted up in front of the single-slice cake case, evaluated my options, and came to a perfectly rational conclusion. One slice? No. Two slices? Also no. Three slices? Now we're talking. Look, I didn't know what I'd like. I wasn't about to stand in line all over again if my first choice wasn't "the one." Surely I'd love at least one of them, right? I ordered a slice of the Carrot Cake ($6.60), a slice of the Blueberry Yogurt Cake ($5.99) and one of the mini Blueberry Cheesecakes ($7.55). My total with tax came to $21.35 and it was worth every penny! I asked to eat there and was handed paper plates and directed to the utensil station near the trash cans. I also overheard another customer being told that the restroom code was printed on paper receipts. Since I'd opted for an electronic receipt (no thanks to paper receipts!), I had to ask for the code separately. Not a huge deal, just a bit odd given that they offer electronic receipts. There are signs on the restroom doors explaining the process, but it's one of those little quirks worth mentioning. Armed with my three desserts and zero shame, I claimed a sunny table by the window and settled in. First up, the Carrot Cake. Dense. Super moist. Not overloaded with frosting, which I actually appreciated, much to my surprise, and absolutely delicious. It let the cake itself do the talking. Next came the Blueberry Yogurt Cake. This one was lighter and fluffier, with rich frosting and filling layered between. Best of all, it actually tasted like blueberries instead of just generic sweetness. The blueberry flavor screamed, "HEY! I'M A BLUEBERRY!" and I appreciated that. Then came the Berry Cheesecake. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing was rich, dense, and absolutely fabulous. It felt like eating an entire miniature cheesecake in slice form, which, honestly, is one of life's great joys! By the end of this little dessert extravaganza, I had consumed every single crumb of all three slices. Every. Single. Crumb. I had worried I might not love one of them. Turns out I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I still can't pick a favorite! Would I go back to Juno Bakery? Absolutely. Would I order three desserts again and demolish them like an absolute champion while sitting in the sun watching downtown Frederick live its life outside the window? Without hesitation. And now that I've discovered Juno Bakery, any trip close enough to Frederick just might require a mandatory dessert detour!

This spot is located in the "city center" of Brunswick. Parking is plentiful, and I got a spot a block up. I had a schedule to keep, so I just got an iced coffee to go, but I loved taking in the decor of the place. It was a sunny day and the light was streaming through the stained glass windows. There is a food menu and some baked goods, though I didn't get anything to eat. There are also cute little stickers, magnets, keychains etc. advertising the area and the C&O towpath that a lot of bikers like to ride. If I lived nearby, this would definitely be a regular place to meet up with friends. It's a really unique spot!
