You know the type: floor-length with a conservative collar and nothing that anyone under 60 would consider buying. Disappointed, I continued to browse the rest of the store. The other 90% of Gattle's is stocked with homegoods: custom monogrammed dishtowels, bath towels, place mats, and bedding sets. They also have gifts like rubber kitchen gloves with fur wrist lining. Or lotions and candles. Very, very expensive lotions and candles. $48 for an 8 ounce candle? That's way too much for something so small. Most of the products I viewed were imported from London or France, which explains the high prices. There were a lot of nice smelling items which I would have bought had they been half...well, two-thirds of the price. Have kids to shop for? This is a perfect place for Grandma to buy the grandkids something unique. There are all sorts of clothes and toys for the luxurious toddler. These are definitely special occasion items and mirror the prices of the candles. I did like how Gattle's has color swatches and examples of all their customizable bed and bath goods. This is definitely the place if you're looking for fine linens. Older, wealthy ladies will adore this niche shop. Unfortunately, it was just a little too pricey for me.

We have worked with a number of designers there and they are all knowledgeable and easy to work with. This time we got to work with designer, John Epperson, who was adept at executing our vision for our kitchen with the new island and refrigerator cabinet they made for us. Chris Holt came over twice to 1) confirm measurements before install day and to speak with my husband who built the soffit for over the fridge cabinet and to 2) direct the installers about how to ensure the fridge cabinet's fit. They were patient with our questions and changes along the way, happy to entertain our input. Our kitchen looks awesome now despite some outstanding finishing touches needed that they are helping us with. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation and we will plan on calling on them again for our next project. Karen Agricola

Customer service has been extremely helpful when I needed them. Mrs. Harrison works at the location on Highland Avenue in Cincinnati and was very used to seeing me and my hubby. She helped us on multiple occasions with returns and exchanges and always with a smile on her face. She would ask to see pictures of our progress as we went. For a big box store, she made it feel like a mom and pop shop that cared.
