The 2 steaks were about 1/8 of an inch thick and almost tough enough to repair a shoe. The beans were mostly liquid, there was a very small portion of rice and a surprisingly generous amount of guacamole on the chopped salad greens, 3 warm tortillas. I wrapped the steaks in the tortillas with the guac and greens, and asked for some hot sauce. It was in a ramekin, nothing to write home about. At the end of the night, I got my bill, the first total showed 30.44, the credit card slip showed 32.69. I asked why the discrepancy, she said the first bill didn't reflect the hot sauce, "it's homemade". I have eaten in a LOT of Mexican restaurants, never got an upcharge for hot sauce.
