I had purchased a couple (pricey) sunglasses online; when I received them, the arms were too wide. I googled eyeglass repair shops and this place was among the first couple establishments suggested. Desperate for any form of help and/or advice, I stopped by the place. The owner (sorry, I forgot his name) was so incredibly helpful. As challenging as it was to make adjustments due to the style of the glasses, he was able to figure out a solution. I was so ecstatic!!! Not only did he amend the alignment of the temple arms so I could now wear my glasses, he did so expecting NO COMPENSATION! I was so eternally grateful, I persisted to INSIST he accept my offer of payment. Afterward, he gave me a lovely token (glasses care products). I'm am in AWE of his kindness and professionalism! I cannot recommend Amazing Optical more!!! You will not be disappointed!

I had recently picked up a coupon on LivingSocial for $200 off a pair of prescription eyeglasses for this company, and the location at Bristol was the closest to me. It feels a bit small (nestled in between a Shoppers Drug Mart and another business), but I finally found the place, and I was very pleased with my overall experience. I think I just might have a new favorite place to look for eyewear. I've been wearing the same pair of eyeglasses (metal-framed Armanis) for about five years, and it was high time that I finally switched things up. The staff were very gracious and helpful when I arrived, letting me look at my own pace and offering advice and suggestions when necessary. After initially going through a good dozen metal-framed pairs, I decided to be adventurous and pick up a pair of larger plastic-framed Dolce and Gabbana glasses, which were a real departure for me, but I soon found myself liking the style and fit. The coupon I purchased also came with a free pair of sunglasses, so I picked up a pair of Guess shades. They've come in very handy since then. I also took the opportunity when I was there to have an eye exam done, with a very friendly optometrist who wasn't prone to overselling things like the last eye doctor I went to. She was very patient with me (I have sensitive eyes - don't like things getting too close to them) and was very knowledgeable with what I needed in terms of prescription and services. The pair I bought were so good that I got compliments on the different style just a couple weeks after wearing them! I definitely feel I made the right choice going here, and I'll definitely be back if/when I need new shades in the future. Highly recommended!
