It wakes me from my sleep. After a 1.5 hr long session with Kim yesterday, I'm happy to report that today I did not wake up with that intense heartache/heart/chest pain for the first time in several weeks. She was able to pinpoint it and clear it in our session. I also had a lot of physical and energetic resistances, especially in my crown chakra that was causing a headache during the session. She was able to communicate messages that my spirit guides were wanting me to know and therefore cleared the headache and resistance. I'm still getting headaches at work, so there's still work to be done on my part. Kim recommended short 45 min sessions to help get me centered, so I will be getting those scheduled!

You arrive at your cottage (named after plants). They are laid out to encourage getting out and exploring so no common areas. The tea house is open 24 hours a beautiful spot to read or chat. Several different pillows (3 on a twin bed!) are provided for your preferred level of fluffiness. The shower has immediate hot water and good pressure. The unit is quiet at night and feels safe. GETTING AROUND: You can walk to all the facilities within 3-5 minutes, 7 minutes if you stroll. You can take the road with a slight incline, or climb about 10 rock stairs (WITH handrails!!). OUTSIDE: A huge firepit surrounded with plenty of comfortable chairs is right next to a peaceful pond with a small man-made waterfall. You can hear frogs croak evening and morning. There's a turkey loitering, and can point you in the right direction. You can enjoy the best stargazing ever on the wide lush carpet of grass. MEETING PLACES The gorgeous round mandala house allows a 360 degree view of the mountains. Below is a kitchen and eating area. You can eat inside, or at a picnic table outside. They even have those big heaters in case it's cold outside! The Tea room is open 24 hours a day with plenty of comfortable seats, and beautiful views outside. Food- I wouldn't be surprised if the chef planned the perfect amount of macro/micro nutrients for optimal health. There's less variety and volume than I'd prefer (but probably the perfect calorie count). I advise bringing additional snacks. There's so much more. Just go there. I got stuck in traffic on Pine Log and happened to see a sign for the shop. I'm so happy I decided to make an appointment. Angela took great care of my feet with the Just Breathe pedicure! She started off with an oatmeal milk bath bomb that she makes herself, then a calming soak, nail management, sugar foot scrub, essential oil massage, hot towel, then painting. She hit all of the right pressure points during the foot massage! She had hot tea and lemon water available as well. The ambiance was great...from the calming spa music, the decor, the essential oil humidifier to the super comfy recliner. It was life changing. I cannot express in words what I experienced during the session or even what I continue to experience afterward. I joined Kelly and several other like minded people for an afternoon celebrating the equinox. We set our intentions, sipped tea, journaled, and enjoyed a very relaxing sound bath. It was just what I needed and excited for my back to school race to slow so I can join again for a tuneup. I now find myself listening to a variety of sound baths or singing bowls on YouTube when I feel stressed or want/need the sound to help with meditation. In a stressful world, the more tools that one can add to our mental health toolbox the better. Group Suggestions: Going with a group can be fun but remember that you're joining this event to center yourself. Solo Suggestions: Enjoy tuning into yourself.
