The studio happened to be running a $39 unlimited class deal for new students so I took advantage. In the last month I have tried the Barre, Core, Hot Flow, Vin, Vin/Yin and Yoga for Anxiety classes. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. I told them I was new and most took care to show me ways to improve my practice. The space has two inviting rooms, cubby holes for shoes and such, and a small store. They also have online registration for classes. Hot Flow and Barre are usually packed each class, so I make sure to register for those online. If you're looking to improve your practice or just try it out come on over to Aiken Yoga.

I have been attending Water Aerobics classes, Cardio Barre, Gentle Stretch Yoga, Flow and Deep Stretch Yoga, RIP and Restorative Yoga for over three years at this center. So I think I am qualified to mention a few things from my experience. Village Fitness is very fortunate to have a dedicated group of fully trained and certified instructors. I have to mention a few ladies by name - Katie, Patty, Frere, Dolorita and Sydnee and give them the credit and kudos they all deserve. They all conduct fun, beneficial and worthwhile classes. I also have to give high praise to MaryBeth, the Front Desk Manager. She is the type of employee every business needs at their front office to greet and know all the members by name and the classes they attend. Mary Beth keeps everything at the Fitness Center running smoothly, keeps everyone in fresh clean towels, keeps the ladies changing room stocked and spotless and handles complaints and problems with a big smile that we all see each time we check in. She follows through on your concerns and gets back with an answer. Good Job MaryBeth! I hope management knows and appreciates their staff. Having MaryBeth or one of the other smiling faces greeting me by name early in the morning as I enter the facility makes a difference. And I see how a great staff encourages members to attend more regularly.

This is my fitness center (health club, gym, whatever you call them now). It's pretty good, has…read morenew equipment, very clean and roomy, all of the treadmills, ellipticals and bikes have their own TVs. They are still so new I had to add them to Yelp! (I couldn't Check In today). Their staff is very friendly and helpful and their prices are great (I got in the introductory deal for a sweet $20 month, unlimited access). They are working on adding classes, yoga, aerobics, etc. to their schedule - they have a few now but not all in good times for people who work. Still, they are trying. The background - my old gym was in the same location, Club Fitness. Gold's Gym moved in to town and shut them down with money, so there hasn't been many choices in Aiken if you are a guy for years. Achieve just opened in the same spot offering a similar mix of weights, machines, classes without the 'muscle head' stigma. I like it!

That is the main reason why I joined. I will not tell anybody else to join Acheive because of this. Right now I am disappointed in the classes. They only have two good Zumba instructors now. That is not good at all!!! The staff is nice and friendly, and the fitness center is always kept clean. They need to work on class schedule and not have so many classess cancel. And yes there are other classes available, I only enjoy Zumba classes right now. Me and my friends all do, and we are very upset when they are cancel!!! Please try to work on this problem Soon!!!!
