Probably the most authentic German food we've had in the US, we lived in Franconia Bavaria for four years in the 80s. Complimentary bread (also authentic) served when we sat down, and we could hear the schnitzel being pounded out in the kitchen when we ordered. Everything came out in an appropriate time, and our server was very friendly and checked up on us all the time. Even upsold us on a dessert (which we had to get to-go, as we were stuffed) by bringing the torte out for us to look at, hard to pass up after seeing it lol. Highly recommended!

The German dill salad probably had some dill in it somewhere, but it was all drowned in so much mayonnaise-based dressing, I couldn't really taste it, and the whole thing turned into soup before I finished.
