There's a reason they've been around for years! They care about their customers and will do their best to accommodate to any of their needs. I go for semi-weekly water testing and the water lab knows just what your pool needs to get your pool chemistry perfect! The people in the parts department can assist you with any part you may need or any problem you're having. The employees are all dedicated and caring people. I wouldn't trust my pool with anyone else.

I thought that was the safest, best option to keep our pool in the best shape. In fact for 10 years, I pay Budds to open, service weekly for 12 weeks, and close my pool. Friday morning I turned the heater on in case the kids wanted to go in. I thankfully hung outside for a bit, when I began to smell something burning and walked over to find the heater on fire. I immediately turned off the power on the heater and emailed and called Budds. They FaceTimed with Edward Litsky, and noted that the water valve to the heater was in the off position. They then sent someone out Friday evening around 8pm, turned the water on, vacuumed out the soot, inspected it using a phone flashlight, turned on the heater and informed us someone would be in touch. Three days later, after I requested to hear from someone in a supervisor role, Chas the GM of service called me this evening. He offered to replace the burned out lcd screen free of charge. I told him I expected more, as I no longer feel safe having my kids around the heater, and he told me it was more than fair since "I" turned off the water to the heater. He blamed ME! A customer of 10 years. He blamed me, because I emailed requesting assistance turning on the skimmers prior to the fire. After their own employees admitted it was opened incorrectly. The General Manager of Service blamed me in a massive CYA case. I have never been a part of a worst case of shady business in my life. Avoid Budds Pools.

I see him talking to someone in office, he then comes back and tells me the person in office said get one on Amazon. I then tell him to please get the person to give me info on part so I know what to order and again he's talking to the person in office but not coming back to me. After a few minutes, I left. I Understand you may not have a part in stock but I purchased a $25,000 in ground pool from this store and expected some guidance. I brought the top assembly with part number in so I can get quick info on what to order since they installed this themselves. The young man at counter was polite but the person in office totally blew me off when the young man behind counter asked him to help me. Will not purchase another product from here ever!!! Horrible customer service to someone who spent over $25,000 to Niagara pools!!!!

From the beginning, Swim-Mor was very easy to work with, and helped us understand all of our options in designing and building the pool, and they finished the project within one week of their original estimate with no surprise costs or problems. We have since used them for opening and closing the pool as well as regular weekly maintenance and the service has been perfect. When we started on the process of building the pool, we had many people tell us that we wouldn't use it after the first few years. However, I want to say that we use it MORE now than when we did six years ago - in fact, we use it nearly every day throughout the entire season. Over the past several winters, my wife has frequently remarked that she can't wait for the pool to be open again. This pool has added so much to our lives! At the risk of sounding immodest, I have to say that the pool is absolutely beautiful. It fits perfectly into our wooded landscape and almost looks like a natural part of the environment. I honestly think that it's the most beautiful pool that I have ever personally been in, including at international resorts, and I i'm extremely thankful that Swin-Mor was able to build this for us. I would recommend Swim-Mor to anyone!

Even better, he communicated frequently throughout the entire process, he was easy to get a hold of and responsive when we had questions and the project was done on time AND on budget! That is such a rarity when dealing with contractors/construction/etc nowadays. He's even been responsive after the unit was built and paid for! :) Bob and his team were an absolute pleasure to deal with and built us a pavilion we will get many many years of enjoyment from!

    Do yourself a favor, HIIRE SOMEONE ELSE I entered into a…read morecontract with Bob Burpee/ The Burpee Group in January with a completion date of May. Bob has an ability to make you trust him, and he is a likable person. However, I wish I would have trusted what I heard about Bob and his reputation as a pool builder. Bob took weeks past the promised dig day to finally dig my pool. Then, for weeks on end no one showed up. There were endless excuses- "One of my workers hurt themselves, another pool had a major issue and needed immediate attention, Bob himself was "very sick", Bob's wife was sick, Bob's crew "staged a walk off" (twice), etc." I went along with this, because I trusted in the end it would all be worth it. However, it wasn't. The amount of issues that came up are endless, and would take me hours to type. Bob himself only came to my job a hand full of times, when he had to collect a check. The rest of the time, a "crew" of people who spoke zero English and couldn't even speak to me were who were building my pool. His "main guy" Ruben was who was building my pool- yet he's not a licensed electrician or anything of the sort. Ruben and a few other guys installed my travertine decking, which is not remotely in a french pattern (Bob actually said "a french pattern isn't a pattern" after the fact) and is completely uneven where you stub your toe over and over and over. Numerous pieces rock and wobble. The waterfall wall is so uneven it dips in and out and sticks out in spots. Bob's "crew" put in the coping with bullnose pieces against bullnose so they had to rip it all out and re do it. Bob installed the wrong pool system, and tried to lie and say it was the right one and then tried to manipulate the contract to get more money out of me. He has been sued under his previous company, Burpee's Earthly Wonders because he doesn't pay his subcontractors so instead of using sub contractors who are licensed, he has Ruben doing it all. Bob had a licensed electrician at my house ONE day. The rest of the time he had an un licensed worker running my plumbing, gas, and electric. We had a massive gas leak because Ruben isn't licensed or trained and is who hooked up my gas. The pool wasn't "completed" until August, except when the inspectors came to inspect the pool it failed everything. Bob built a bar outside for me, and didn't get any permits for it. When I asked him what on earth, he said I should have got them. Why on earth would I get permits for something he's building?! However, the biggest issue is that Bob submitted drawings for a pool to the township WITHOUT lights and then he never got the electrical trench inspected and so the entire trench has to be dug up but the biggest thing is that he didn't have the grounded bonding wire inspected. We failed the inspection, and so Bob's answer to fix it was to try and submit photos of the grounding wire. However, the pictures he submitted according to the electrical inspector are "very concerning" and he refused to accept them and said my pool is a hazard and is an electrocution risk and he will not approve the pool. We are in violation of the code and it's now the end of Sept and still can not use the pool. Bob was alerted to the fact that he's in violation and that his pictures do not work because they don't show the grounding wire was done right and he's now just ignoring my calls and the townships calls. They've called him numerous times, as to get approval he has to rip up the pool deck to prove he did the grounding wire correctly (they're very concerned he didn't) and he is just not returning any calls. So now I'm out so much money for a pool we can't use and are in violation of code- and Bob is just ignoring this because he knows he messed up big time. I've had two different pool companies come out for estimates to fix all the endless issues and both have said how Bob is well known as a company you run from. I just wish I knew that and did RUN before I gave him so much money and in return have a pool that's done extremely sub par in terms of aesthetics but the biggest thing is the fact that the pool is not up to code and can't be used. Do yourself a favor, call the next person on your list. I wish I did.
