I don't typically review but just had to on this one. We were on a road trip from AZ to MN and so excited to see we could get a scone at a coffee shop on our way; not easy to find and I will drive a long way for a good scone. I have to say the scones were the worst thing I have ever tasted. You couldn't even tell what flavor they were but worse than that whatever the flavor was was awful. We each took one bite and immediately pitched them in the trash. What a shame. Even a scone from a mix can taste decent. These were awful; disgusting. We couldn't get the awful taste out of our mouths. You must be able to do better than that. My coffee was 'fine'. read more

7am Monday morning. No wait inside. Ordered a coffee and an iced beverage. Very helpful cashier. I explained what I wanted and she and the barista were able to make me exactly that. Husband ordered a sausage croissant breakfast sandwich. Hot and delicious! Inside was clean. Restroom was tidy and stocked. There is a drive thru option. Would recommend. read more

There's nothing I enjoy more than good coffee. Sioux City has been an utter disappointment up until today. 3 mediocre cups and the 4th renewed my faith that Iowa may be able to give me what I need in the form of caffeinated goodness. Oh, and I had a breakfast burrito. So good, except the undercooked rice. Flavors were great and it was pretty fat. I definitely didn't leave hungry. THE BEST COFFEE/TEA SHOP IN SIOUX CITY. This is also the newest location and has the best service and selection of their menu. Stone Bru has quickly become known as the coffee of Sioux City - they have the BEST selection of specialty drinks. I personally always opt for their 12 oz Northern Star (I prefer just half a pump of honey and they customize so nicely). They also have a wide selection of dairy free milks (which is a MUST in my book). When I have time to order breakfast I love their avocado toast with a fried egg on top. It's delicious. Clean atmosphere and good food and drinks. Not the friendliest crew (minus one blonde woman who seems a bit more in charge) as they seem extremely burnt out and but as long as you don't take anything personally it's pretty good! Food is good though it does take quite a while to get so just be prepared to wait. Also be aware that they only serve food for half of the day. Found this busy little business on our cross country trip. The coffee was smooth. And they had oat milk. Kinda hard to find on this trip. Also got a cinnamon roll. It was good. They also had a decent breakfast and lunch menu. (We didn't order, but they had choices). It was in a business area. Medical buildings. Target, hobby lobby. So for this community a good location. Took about 7 min off the freeway so if you want a fast on and off. It probably not that easy. However if you are looking for a coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. And a drive through. This has a good feel for sitting down and enjoying a cup of coffee and a pastry. After our coffee and roll. I did go back and purchased two bags of coffee beans. And yes you can order the beans on line. Living in Seattle who knows when I'll be back for that cup of coffee. In regards to customer service. (Most important to me). They were friendly. So Good customer care. I'd say yes take the extra time to come here for coffee. read more
