Fantastic service. Delicious beer. Good food. Hard to ask for more. Utepils was a standout brewery, highly recommend sampling their wares. Looking forward to returning in happier non-pandemic times, but this seemed like the best option for the layover. Well worth a look. read more

Service is pretty quick once you've found a seat(self seating). Long list of beers on draft. Also seemed to have some nice cocktails, not cheap though, airport prices. Steer clear of the turkey burger, it's completely bland, go with beef, "Its what for dinner"!!! The fries were very good, nice and crispy without being burnt. I would still allow yourself forty minutes to an hour to eat in case you don't find a table right away. read more

I got the chicken and rice. The chicken was very dry and the wild rice was mostly white rice.

Had a couple beers while waiting for a flight. Didn't expect much being in the airport and all and honestly I was happy to just find some decent craft beer , and boy was I surprised. The IPA to start was pretty good and went down east but the second beer when I asked for a sour was a barrel aged mango sour called neon mango and I'd have to say this is possibly the best sour I've ever had and I work for a brewery that make's awesome sours . Chad the bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely go back if ever traveling through Minnesota again. read more

Stone Arch was a decent choice for a layover lunch. We had a group of 5 and found seating at the counter. Not ideal for conversation but it was busy and we we seated so that's a plus. Menu isn't super large, apps, burgers, some sandwiches and salads but enough to accommodate most palates. We ordered a few apps and some drinks to start. The spam fritters were interesting and surprisingly tasty. They were out of the specific beer I preferred but I ordered a replacement. Food was much slower to come out than I would expect from an airport restaurant but our layover was long enough that we had no worries. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger which was cooked medium rare and perfect for my liking. Mushrooms were tasty as were the fries but the fries weren't super hot. Noise level was loud but expected. My biggest negative was the speed of service. Food was pretty slow but the beer I ordered took forever and that was disappointing. read more

Great service, decent beer, but this burger... I came here to try the famous Juicy Lucy. I was confused when my first burger arrived with no cheese on the inside. The server went back to the kitchen and brought me another one, but that one had so little cheese inside that it almost shouldn't bear the name (I've seen pictures of the same burger from other restaurants that has a hot molten core of cheese, so I was expecting at least something similar). Clearly this isn't the best place to try this Minnesota staple. It was still a decent burger, but not what I expected. read more

I've been coming to this place several times over the last nearly 2 years. MSP is my home airport and I travel for work nearly 40% of the time. I have always had great service and friendly servers. Today was not one of those days. On this trip, I had a 3hr layover between destinations and so I decided to stop and get a snack, maybe some dinner and a drink. After I finished my snack Tasha, my server asked if I wanted anything else. I replied that I wasn't sure yet but I might get something else, as I had time to kill. She bluntly replied that I needed leave if I wasn't going to order anything else. By this time I had only been here for 30 minutes and it was not very busy. She then handed me my check and it was the wrong one. It took her another 25-30 mins to bring me a new one. read more

Stone Arch - Server with a bad attitude. - American Near Me - St Paul, Minnesota

Overpriced, low quality airport food. Service is very absent. A group of us got to the airport early and decided to hangout here for a while before our flight. The service was super lacking, and we couldn't find our server during the majority of the hour when we were there. I ordered the fried cheese curd and the swiss and mushroom burger to share amongst us and both were not very good. The cheese curds were overly battered and over fried. The burger bun was very dry and despite the menu saying it's baked fresh, it most certainly is not. The patty was not very meaty at all and there was a very thin slice of cheese on the patty. I had requested raw onions on my burger and there was no onions at all. Overall pretty bad experience, do not recommend the food or this restaurant at all. read more

So, although the food was delicious, I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 because they could do just a tad bit better with their customer service and menu wording. Food wise, everything was pretty good! The beet salad was flavorful although a little too much dressing for my liking. (I'll just ask for it on the side next time) I didn't notice there were pecans in it so I had to pick them out. On the menu, the rice pilaf for the salmon doesn't mention mushrooms, but the pilaf for the Chicken and Rice does. It's my guess that they use the same rice for both dishes, but they didn't put that on the menu and I ended up having to send the rice back and get mashed potatoes w/gravy instead. Which.... was great because they were really good! The salmon and green beans were both cooked very well so no complaints there. Also, with the cheesecake, on the menu it mentioned nothing about nuts, but it came to my table covered in the sugared pecans. I don't eat nuts so I had to send it back. But, it was still really good once she brought a new one back out! Regarding the service, I think it was a staffing issue as to why it was seat yourself, but there was a 4 top seated at an 8 top finishing up their drinks and cashing out, and a 5 top came in wanting to sit there. No big deal, except one of the guests from the 5 top sat at the table while the 4 top was still there. In my eyes, that is unacceptable anywhere and should not have happened. However, things happen. Hopefully no one else has to experience that. read more

This place is one of my favorites! Even if it wasn't at the airport for convenience because of travels, I'd go go this place. Had another excellent experience today. I was at the MSP airport and needed to have a meal. I chose Stone Arch, cause it had lots of customers, so I assumed it must be decent. Boy, was I wrong. Service is good, very pleasant and swift. Food however, is bad. I had a burger, the worst burger I had in my life. I will take McDonald's burger over theirs any day. The bun is not a bun but cheap weird bread, meat is of poor quality and the fries were not edible. All in all, don't eat here. Service is good, so maybe get a drink here. read more

This is my go to place in MSP (when I don't get a lounge pass). Always an excellent sampling of the city's flagship breweries. The cheese curds are the thing I always get; sometimes a pizza. Either goes great with a flight of whatever suits your fancy. In COVID times it's less fun because I won't sit at the bar (you can, I just think it's a really bad idea) but still good food and drink if you got to the airport early. They are good for distancing because there's a whole rail of outward facing seats with open sides for extra air flow. It's easy to eat and drink without facing other diners. read more

We recently flew out of Minneapolis and had some time to kill around lunch so we stopped in at Stone Arch. We decided to start with the cheese curds with the house made ketchup and they were great. Crispy and light on the outside and full of creamy cheese in the inside. The ketchup is as almost smoky. It added a great contrast to the curds. I went with the Minnesota Staple, the Juicy Lucy, with fried onions. This burger was AMAZING! Great seasoning flavor on the patty. Bursting with cheesy inside and on top and the fried onions only made it better. The burger came with fresh cut fries which are my favorite. They only have local beer on tap so don't expect to get a bud light here, go for the Pilsner, it was delicious! read more

The Minneapolis St Paul Airport (MSP) in MN is one that have never before had the pleasure but this snowy morning I sure was pleased to be here!! There are a Plethora of food options throughout this Multi-Terminal maze (the Great Smaug the dragon would be proud!); but for breakfast I have uncovered the Gem of them all! So we walk thru into the casual bar entrance where we are told to seat ourselves. There is already a nice crowd of patrons enjoying various dishes and first thing I notice - Bloody Marys are VERY popular in These parts!! I am wondering what's up with this (but later forget to ask ugh); I mean I would say of the maybe 25 or so people In the place there are at LEAST 11-12 blood red glasses of deliciousness garnished with varying degrees of their own celery/pickle/olive plumage!! It's quite a lovely site!! I myself LOVE a good Mary but alas I'm allergic to the bloody part of the deal so I'm destined for the Virgin version but I WILL partake!! YES PLEASE!!! So we sit and our table informes us that our menu is available by scanning the QR code. They have quite the selection of yummies for so far north! From your average bar fare to some pretty awesome breakfast selections; fried egg n bacon sandwich - which includes arugula and a spicy mayo on English muffin that looks particularly Hearty, a Salmon n egg breakfast that includes some pretty damned delicious looking caramelized onions n their own version of a Béchamel sauce over smoked salmon and Toasty English muffins. Once we have perused the menu, the lovely Ms Mona comes by just as we look up for our server (on point!) she is up beat w a smile ready - and her arm tats are excellent!!! We order the Stone Arch Breakfast, which has everything I'm looking for this morning; simple scrambled eggs, (but you can get them any style you are hankerin for), two strips of bacon or sausage (or SPAM!), hash browns (and they cook them PERFECTLY!!! Crisp golden outside n tender yummy inside!!) and toast of choice - just make sure it's Wheat, Rye or English muffin lol) oh and Don't forget my Virgin Mary - EXTRA TABASCO!!! YES!!! Now, I don't usually eat scrambled eggs, but I had just watched a video on Pinterest about how to make the PERFECT FLUFFY SCRAMBLED EGGES, so I was CRAVING. And I'm tellin ya'll, the Stone Arch did Not Disappoint. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon crisp, the Browns..... OMG...... and the Mary???? WOW. I would DEF recommend this place if you are ever in the neighborhood. From what I'm seeing on their lunch n dinner menus their other dishes look pretty epic as well!! Def a check our up North!! read more

My first visit here was good enough to lure me back. This visit is chaos so far. We got a table that still had a load of dishes on it. One of the employees came and took the first set away, but left half the dishes for us to watch over. We ordered and the dishes were still there. Our waitress returned and got them cleared off and wiped our table off a couple minutes later. We ordered 2 burgers medium rare. Both came well done. I ordered a Mushroom Swiss with no onions and mayo on the side. It came loaded with mayo and onions. The guy at the next table ordered a burger with onions and had none. Huge swing and a miss by the waitress. On the bright side, the fries were tasty. Next time I hope I don't get the bottom of the bag fry scraps. I needed a fork to eat the things. The food was decent, but this place seems to be tripping over itself with confusion. I'll try someplace else next time I'm at MSP. read more

+.5 for service I think Stone Arch is probably one of the better restaurants I've been to for airport food quality. The place is self service in choosing a seat, so just walk in and pick a table and someone will serve you within minutes. Menu is standard bar food, a selection of local Minneapolis craft beer, and entrees. I had the juicy lucy, which is a Minneapolis tradition with cheese stuffed inside a patty, as well as a chicken and wild rice soup. The soup was really good, and definitely something I would recommend. The burger itself, however, wasn't really done properly. The cheese ended up being outside the patty instead of inside...so at the end it really only tasted like a typical cheeseburger. A bit dry and bland too. For airport quality though it's a 3 in my books. Service was excellent. I still think out of all restaurants in the airport, Stone Arch is probably one of the better ones. read more

Perfect place to get food in the airport! We both had salads they were good and the service by Molly was excellent.

Stone arch is a good spot if you want great bar food at a good price and an amazing on Tabs selection. They have a lot of craft and local beers but this is one of the most cost-effective places I found for items on tap. They have a beer cheese dip and giant pretzel appetizer that quite frankly will fill you up and you want to eat anything else. But when she get a look at their burger menu you may have to go away burn off the 2000 cal you just ingested and then come back for another 3500 cal because their burgers are huge and definitely worth the wait and price The wait staff was delightful and very knowledgeable about all of their items. We did not get there in time enough for happy hour but they do have specials. They have some TVs in the bar area that you can catch a glimpse of if you're in a booth and you're bored of the people you're hanging with :-) it is definitely a place I will frequent again read more

Sadly, it's too early to sample some beers. I spied a few nice looking choices for pours, but I'm heading out west for work and can't do a liquid breakfast today. But an egg white sandwich with portobello mushrooms, peppers, arugula and smoked Gouda? Plus a side of hash browns? Well, ok. Twist my arm. Throw some good, strong coffee in there with that and we're set. Ya know...been up since just before 3am eastern time... I ran into a colleague, so he happily joined me for breakfast. He thoroughly enjoyed the French toast and said that it "hit the spot". Service was great and the location is close to the F and G concourses (in the mall area). I would consider visiting here again when passing though...but id like to enjoy some of the fine looking brews to accompany my meal. Or maybe just make it a liquid meal. read more

Over-hyped just a bit, maybe. Online menu for beers is not up-to-date. I mean, isn't that a benefit of online menus so that it can be quickly updated as kegs are turned over? My server was extremely confused when I asked for a recommendation between two beers on the menu, like he'd never heard of them. And he just told me, "I don't think we have either of those." He was able to recommend something he knew they had on tap, so I guess it could've been a worse exchange. Unfortunately, this got me off to a rough start. I was not thrilled. But the burger was pretty good. I can't remember what it's called, but I got the burger with blue cheese and mushrooms. Fries were real, but not as crispy as I'd like. As far as airport food goes, this place is good choice. But can you really ever give an airport restaurant 5 stars. I've yet to come across one. read more

Our server was great. Nice place. We just got the cheese curds and soft pretzel. Don't expect state fair cheesecurds. Really wasn't looking forward to my 4 hour layover, but this airport was huge and filled with so many options where to spend your time! We decided to spend ours at Stone Arch and it was great. Our waitress was really friendly, the area wasn't crowded, and the beer flights were fun. We started off with the fried pickles which came with Sriracha ranch (I don't like spicy but this was really good). Then while we waited for our food, I ordered a beer flight. Try to get Tasha to wait on you at Stone Arch near Gates G. She is a super hard worker and does everything in her power to make your meal memorable. All I got was a single beer. The overly cramped nature of the seating just made it too uncomfortable to bother ordering food. Too many tables in the dining area and too many stools at the bar. As far as airport food goes, this place is really frickin good. I've always had good service and the food is above par... especially for an airport (are you getting the picture that airport food is subpar?). I've had the salads, burgers, and the wings. The wings are grilled with a bit of kick but not too much; they were some of the best I've ever had. These are not tiny buffalo wings but actual wings. You know, from a chicken, not a buffalo. As some of you may know, I'm not a fan of good beer, as I like shitty beer.
