Coffee was good and bubble tea was good. We didn't know they shut the kitchen down at 2pm so couldn't order food. I should have called and asked but just thought since they closed at 6 that food would have been available a little later than 2. In town visiting family and really needed a good cup of coffee and so happy I found this place in downtown Durand. Enjoyed a great latte at a reasonable price with friendly service. I got my coffee to go but you could sit inside and enjoy your coffee if you wanted to. They also had some bakery items for sale but I only got the coffee on this visit. Next time I'm in town visiting family, I will definitely be stopping in everyday to grab a cup of joe! read more

This is the cutest hidden gem in genesee county. An old bank with the vault still in tact. This is great coffee, great freak shakes for the kids, and the food is great too. I'm not the name of the barista we had but I haven't had such great service in a long time! read more

I came into town for the holidays, and needed a place to utilize the wifi. I originally thought about going to McDonalds, but I wanted a good coffee while I work. I yelped "free wifi" and this place came up with a good rating. My dad, also from out of town, dropped me off. It was easy to find and had plenty of parking, if I needed to park. I got into here, just before the rush did. I ordered a large White Chocolate Mocha coffee. At Starbucks where I'm from is an EASY $7-$8 drink. I paid less than $5 here! Asked for the WIFI and they had it framed on the Ice Cream freezer. The password sign is small, BUT the password is easy to remember! I sat down, set up my work area, put in my earbuds, and worked away. Nobody bothered me, it was fairly quiet with noise canceling earbuds, and loved that not a single child came in there, nontheless making a havoc. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good coffee and/or place to work/study. This is definitely going to be my place to go when I'm in town! read more

Great place to take break from driving I-69. Definitely worth drive! Staff is fun, bagels are excellent and the coffee hot! There is this crazy freakshake on the menu so stop and have coffee, ice cream, and if your pancreas can handle it, the shake. Wow! read more

Stopped by on our way to the other side of the state. With 2 kids on a road trip we needed some serious caffeine. Got a vanilla cappuccino and another one that I can't remember the name of. My boys and I were looking for some ice cream on the way home from Lansing. This was perfect! Nice, quaint little shop with not just ice cream but tea, coffee drinks and food as well. We felt very welcomed and the staff was amazing! The boys got hand dipped ice cream while I got a frozen dark chocolate raspberry decaf coffee. So good! They have a little room called the Vault. Had to update my review from 2016. This place is awesome!! They have really updated the inside and the menu!! The bagels are so good and I love all the cream cheese options Have yet to try the sandwiches but I can't wait until I do!!! Love that they have a simple kids ice cream for $1. Definitely taking my kid down here for a walk and ice cream once it gets a little nicer outside! read more

Great place to stop for coffee/tea, breakfast or lunch. Stopped here with my daughter today on our way home from MSU. She enjoyed the spinach and cheese flatbread and I had the soup of the day, loaded potato. Make sure to try this cafe located in the small downtown of Durand. read more

Finally, a good place to get coffee that isn't the old Beaners or MacDoogles. Fresh coffee, excellent service. Nice place to sit and have a cup or take one to go. The owners and staff are friendly (along with the other customers). I personally like the Guatemalan light roast they have available in the urns most mornings. They also have some excellent pour-over coffees, which I have had but I can't remember the brew. I'm not sure what time they close, but I know they are there when I swing by on my way to work at a little after 7am. Well worth going the little extra way downtown Durand to get their coffee rather than stopping McD's for their so-so coffee. First time at this newly opened coffee house and was really looking forward to finding a local place to work and enjoy good coffee. Service was friendly and you can tell they are still figuring out how to serve multiple people at a time. My latte was great and the bagels were excellent. Only issues was with music, it was horrible. Felt like I was in an elevator. They would do well to put on more folksy or acoustic music. Also, not many options for food except bagels and breakfast burrito. The muffins looked horrible. Maybe they should partner with a bakery in the area. I will be back but will likely need my own music and ear buds! read more
