Dr. Jeffery was amazing, she's a bit brash but she is seriously intelligent and dedicated to keeping you healthy and making sure you have the best outcome. Very up front about what is going on and what needs to happen, yes my birth "plan" went out the window but my birth goal was to have a healthy baby! Dr. Kula is the OB who was on call when I my water broke 3 weeks early. Again no back and forth from her or my nurses on what needed to happen, I wasn't progressing and needed to be induced. I'm glad because my daughter needed to get out and not be stuck waiting. She had one moment of HR drop and Dr. Kula was right there handling everything with the team of nurses. She recovered and everything progressed well from there leading to delivering a healthy baby girl! I highly recommend Dr. Kula and Dr. Jeffery at OB/GYN Hospitalists of Loudoun.

I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience with VCRM. From the very beginning, I felt…read moresupported, cared for, and truly seen during such an emotional journey. After dealing with infertility for over 7 years, I truly never thought I would be able to conceive. Dr. Fady Sharara changed my life for the better--he gave me hope when I felt like there was none, and I will forever be grateful for that. His expertise, compassion, and dedication made all the difference for me. I'm so thankful for the protocol he created that worked for my situation, and I genuinely hope he can continue to help others who are just like me find their own success and happiness. A huge thank you to his wonderful nurses, Jill and Jessica, who were always there with kindness, patience, and reassurance whenever I needed it most. They made such a difference in my experience. I also want to recognize Maggie and Trisha at the front desk. No matter what kind of day I was having, they always greeted me with warmth and a smile, making me feel welcome and cared for. This journey isn't always easy, but having a team like this behind you makes all the difference. I'm beyond grateful for everyone at VCRM for their support and dedication, and I'm so excited for this new chapter ahead.

After the consultation with him and interacting with the staff, my husband and I trusted him to help us on our fertility journey. Dr. Sharara is very knowledgeable and an expert in the field, which made me feel comfortable and confident in putting our trust in him. I appreciated that he did a very thorough and comprehensive diagnostic work up to figure out the best treatment plan. As someone who is also in the healthcare field, I very much appreciate having more data. The nurses (Ava and Jessica), billing coordinator (Trish), and other staff (Maggie) were also wonderful. Compared to the brief experience that I had with a large fertility clinic, VCRM felt like a white glove service. I graduated this week from the clinic at eight and a half weeks pregnant and am incredibly grateful to Dr. Sharara and the entire VCRM team for their guidance, care, and support. I know that I'm very lucky to have only had to do one round of IVF and for the first transfer to be successful. Dr. Sharara gave me agency to decide when to start IVF (I personally didn't want to spend much time doing IUI) and was supportive of all my decisions as long as they were medically sound. I highly recommend Dr. Sharara and the entire VCRM staff!

TL;DR: You're just a number and a payment here, not even a patient…read more I've been seeing Dr. Glisman since 2016, and found her to be very understanding, and I thought, compassionate. When I went in this year for my regular exam, she advised me I would need a colposcopy. I have spoken about this with her at length previously, because I have had several before and I find them to be severely painful. I requested pain medication, local anesthetic, or sedation. Dr. Glisman informed me that none of that would be available, but not to worry! Someone would be there to hold my hand. Also, since none of my previous colpos were done by Dr. Silva, they wanted me to "just try it." Knowing that I have had several, each as painful as the last, I did not make an appointment. Cue Emily. She called, because she had my chart stacked up on her desk, and she noticed I had not made an appointment. When I informed her I will happily make an appointment when I have a script for some sort of pain management solution, she advised, again, that hand holding is available and she doesn't know why I find it so painful because "the cervix has no nerve endings." Great. Mine does. She also felt that Dr. Silva could work some sort of magic and make it pain free for me. I don't see how putting a clamp on your cervix and pulling a chunk off could vary from practice to practice, but what do I know. I made the appointment and sent a message to Dr. Glisman requesting pain medication or some sort of sedative to make the appointment a bit less stress for me. She prescribed me a one time dose of xanax. I took my xanax as prescribed and went to my appointment. During my appointment with Dr. Silva, she tried to explain to me that somehow she was better at this procedure and it would be quick and painless. Given the state I was in, which could only be described as hysteria, Dr. Silva advised "Lets just get started and we will talk after." She also said if at any point I wanted to stop she would. She took her first sample, which was of course painful, and then the nurse advised she needed another one, which I replied "No." Granted, I didn't use the word "Stop." but I thought "No." Would suffice. It didn't, so she went ahead and took her second sample. When she was done, she left me with a box of tissues and a liner, said she would call in a week, and walked out. I've been to a lot of doctors, and I am not afraid of medical procedures by any means. Dr. Silva and Dr. Glisman made me feel like my thoughts, opinions, feelings, and fears were completely unjustified, and worthless. If your patient is telling you that a procedure is painful, or they need alternatives, and they are willing to PAY OUT OF POCKET for their needs to be met, then at least try to meet them, if not, refer to a doctor that can. I will never go back to this practice, and that's upsetting to me because I was initially very impressed and very comfortable there.
