The process was convenient and so easy! He also offered to recycle my old battery, so I didn't have to worry about it. My battery health is now 100%. I'm really glad Dr. Fixit was able to replace my battery for a fraction of what it would've cost to replace the phone.

I dropped my daughters iPhone and my iPad off at the Harvester location on a Friday morning. I promptly received a message that my order has been picked up and the repairs were to begin. GREAT! At 5:00 pm I got an email that each device was ready for pick up, however the phone was showing a location of Lindenwood rather than Harvester. I called customer service and they assured me that the order number was at Harvester and it was possibly just a glitch. I drove to the Harvester location and retrieved both devices, two separate order numbers. I get to the car and my daughter opens the package to find someone else device. This was not her phone. It was past 6:00 pm and I called customer service and left a message as well as emailed them. The returned my call around 8:00 pm stating they were trying to locate my device. They called back around 9:00 pm stating a technician had my device and was en route to the Harvester location to put it in the machine, that I could go back to the Harvester location and swap out the phones. I stated that this was unacceptable. I didn't lose the phone. Someone needed to deliver the phone to my home. I was informed that this was a "security issue". I stated, "well I have an iPhone 8plus in my possession to my daughters 6... this is a very nice phone and I'm sure the owner isn't aware that I have it just yet... isnt THAT a security issue?" He stated he would make a call and call me back. The phone rang around 9:45. It was the President, Mark Mueller. Mark stated that someone would be delivering my phone to my home and apologized for the inconvenience. Around 10:40 I was surprised to see Mr. Mueller, the President... at my house personally delivering my phone. After speaking with Mr. Mueller, he offered to refund the $180 for the repairs, to which I told him it was not necessary, the delivery was enough. After checking my credit card statement I was surprised to see 50% of the purchase refunded to my card. Even though it was a bit of a debacle.. Fox Paw made it right! I couldn't have asked for better, more personalized service!

When my iPhone 5's speaker went out, I was nervous because I did not have insurance. I assumed I would be out $200 or $300 at a minimum, and possibly weeks without my phone if I had to deal with my cell provider and their processes. So I looked on the Internet to see if there were other possibilities and STL iPhone popped up. I made an on line apt, showed up the next morning at the apt time and 1 hr later I had my phone fully repaired with a brand new speaker! All for only $59. My wife's Iphone 4 screen recently cracked and its not a warranty repair item. I searched for a local repair shop and came across STLiPhoneRepair, booked an appoint via the online application and the price was reasonable. I REALLY did not want to buy a new one, but was almost resigned to it, fearing it was water damaged. I thought we'd at least get a repair person's opinion. A lot of reviews I read of other shops said they'd been charged a LOT for diagnosing the problem and I was not interested in that. I came across the Yelp page for The Phone Doctor in Kirkwood and it sounded like they offered diagnostics for free. I made an appointment (easily done through their website) and went into the shop. Parking on that Saturday afternoon was super easy with plenty of space in the free lot behind their building and even several spaces on Jefferson just adjacent. I handed the phone over the counter and before it was out of my hand the technician said, "Needs a new screen." I was skeptical, but a second tech looked over his shoulder and agreed. They quoted me $125 and 15 minutes, I said, "Deal!" I was out the door with a working phone in about 10 minutes, in which time I ordered a heavy duty case so we don't end up repeat customers too soon. Could not be happier!
