My companies Chief operating Officer's iPhone had a cracked screen from a glass falling out of a cabinet on it. I had ordered a replacement screen off eBay but remembered that I had tried to fix an iPhone previously and that it didn't go so well. So I jumped on Yelp and searched for iPhone repair and STLiPhoneRepair came up and had good reviews. SO I jumped on their website and saw they opened at 11. I also saw that I could schedule a time to go in and get my device fixed. Even though it was only about 10AM the schedule was filled up till 2:15 already so I selected that time and got a confirmation email. I had called after 11 and didn't get anyone so I just sat back and waited for 2:15 to roll around. At about 11:15 I got a call and it was the owner calling me back because he saw a missed call. He also connected the name with the appointment I made, I said I was just calling to see if I could come on in and get it done earlier and he said that he wasn't working on anything right then so sure. I ran (literally) and caught my COO at his car and got his iPhone from him and drove over to the shop. It wasn't hard to find and was only 4-5 minutes from my business. His setup here is pretty efficient and works for what he does. Mike was really polite and was generally a really laid back type of guy. I wanted to wait on the repair and he was cool with that but offered for me to come back if I was on lunch or had time constraints. right away he got to working on the damaged phone, I was impressed with his layout of all his tools and really handy piece of paper that had an outline for all the screws and major pieces of the phone so he knew what to put back on and when. All together for a new iPhone 4S screen and about 35 minutes of waiting it set me back just under $80, compared to the iPhone 4 I tried to repair and it took me 4 hours and yet no working screen, this was a huge savings! Reputable place to have your iphone or ipod fixed. I took my son's ipod in, after he had dropped it and shattered the screen. Mike was able to fix the screen. I preferred taking our ipod here (even though it was a couple of days turn around (because of a weekend) vs a kiosk in the mall. I felt it was better to take it to someone that KNOWS what they are doing instead of some kid that may have been hired yesterday and could fix it "while I waited". My iphone 3GS is 2 years old and the LCD screen went out. I called around to 3 different cell phone repair shops and STLiphonerepair by far had the best prices. Recently, my iPhone 3G stopped working. I went to "the other store" and within seconds I was told that I had water damage and I needed to buy a new phone or pay $220.
