I have been a client of STL SUN TAN & SPA for over 2-years. All I can say is a very professional and knowledgeable salon. They offer the best high-end tanning beds in STL hands down and have many options for you in looking and feeling great! I also use red-light therapy which has helped me in skin appearance, pain in my shoulder (from surgery) and my sinuses in which I could not believe. I have just recently used the FIT-WRAP which I have been wanting to try for sometime. WOW!!! This is no joke after a few sessions I lost over 10lbs and feel amazing! After each session my skin feels cool for a few days & I just feel better this is the best way I can describe it. I have read some of the other reviews about cancelling memberships. I feel as if they are talking about a different company. I unfortunately lost my job several months ago and needed to suspend my membership until my finances got back on track. NO ISSUE AT ALL!!! They even mentioned I could completely cancel my membership if I needed to which I did not want to do. They did explain to me it was an option you just have to come in at the end of the month. I believe it was on the 29th(?) to cancel due to there billing cycle. Once again I did not want to cancel my membership! I needed to get a base tan before a trip to Miami and having literally been burnt by another tanning salon in Chesterfield, I decided to call STL sun Tan. I was greeted immediately by two smiling faces, who turned out to be the owners, Dave and Elizabeth. Dave took me on a tour of the facility before even getting into what I was looking for. You could tell that he was very proud of his equipment and was very knowledgeable. I was educated about the different types of beds and services offered there; airbrush tanning, red light therapy, teeth whitening and a detox/weight loss system. I was pleased they had two large "primping stations" so I could tan before work! It definitely looks like a tanning salon but feels like a spa, extremely clean with pleasant personal touches like white cotton robes in the rooms. Even the clients leaving their rooms, left looking refreshed, one client turned to me and said that I needed to try the Fit Bodywrap, saying that she has never slept or felt better since using it. After the tour, we talked about I was wanting and Elizabeth customized my package with the types of beds I would need within the time frame I was needing to be tan. I never would have thought there were so many different types of beds, dedicated to specific needs and skin types but now that I know, I'll never settle again! This place is sooooo clean! The staff is very educated & pleasant. The package I specially purchased was much better priced w/ tons more nicer equipment and bronzing beds than other places I've been. I never felt any pressure from the employees to buy packages or products but they kindly educated me on why healthy, moisturized skin tans way better than w/out. They also showed me the benefit of doing an Anti-Aging Redlight Therapy session before tanning. I was very interested in the fit BODYWRAP. It's supposed to help you burn 1000's of calories while laying down & watching TV! It also relieves stress & muscle tension which would be great after I work out. This place even has Laser teeth whitening & a massage tanning bed!!!! That's awesome. Before I left the employees SMILED at me again, told me "it was a pleasure serving me," & I even ended up buying this amazing tasting coconut water they sell named CoCoJOY. I absolutely appreciate the wonderful staff at STL SUN TAN! They are always so helpful with giving proper tips on maintaining my physique. I have weight trained for competitions for many years and I always use the Fit Wrap & red light therapy 2 weeks before my shows since it assists me in inch loss and tightening of my skin. I also like that it reduces pain in my joints after heavy lifting days. I highly recommend their Custom Airbrush service as well. The technicians are always so professional and make me feel comfortable while I'm being sprayed. John & Elizabeth are my go-to techs -- they always give me the greatest results. The membership rates and beds are also an amazing value since they give me FREE tanning & Red Light Massage beds with my Fit Wrap Membership. The staff is educated on all products, merchandise, and tanning beds. They know their customers by name and its helps me to feel very comfortable. Horrible place. They are con artists. They will tell you that you are canceled then put you on a freeze and then start recharging you again. I have the names of over twenty investigative reporters that I am asking them to investigate this business then taking them to small claims court. I am also filing a police report on them.
