My coworker didn't eat his salad portion, just the toppings, so I probably made the right choice there. Service was slow. A meal that should have taken 45 minutes tops took 90.

We…read morewere so fortunate that we decided to take a chance on a Saturday just one short hour before closing time. The weather was beautiful and we snagged a lovely lakeside table. Our lunch was beyond expectations! The She Crab and Tomato bisques were savory, filling, and hearty enough to eat as a standalone. Paired with the sandwiches, they satisfied our tummy with enough leftover for dinner too. The Fried Green Tomato sandwich was a perfect blend of savory and sweet with the tomato jam kissing the Rosemary Focaccia and the Boursin cheese added a nice bite. The Grilled Cheese sandwich brought us back to our childhood but better, with an adult flavor profile for refined palates. Shhh don't tell Mom. The level of care, expertise, and love that goes into each of these dishes, shines through each and every bite. We had the pleasure of enjoying Chef Leon's food at a local charity event. We were fortunate to snag a very coveted lunch spot. The restaurant is going through some changes and is currently not serving lunch BUT Chef Leon is offering soup orders on a regular basis. My goodness! I can just put all of my pots and pans away and order directly from him. I look forward to what Chef Leon has planned for us next. Be sure to follow him on Facebook to stay up to date on his plans and to get alerted to his next date for soup orders. I AM CERTAIN THAT WHATSVER Chef Leon has planned, it will be worth the wait.

The prices are already solid, but the dinner specials make the deals even better. The staff is very friendly and keeps things moving quickly, which is great because the food comes out fast and piping hot. The fish was delicious and went perfectly with the grits that I got as a side. The oysters were okay, but I probably won't order them again. The grilled shrimp were also very tasty. The customer service was mixed, because while they seem to be pleasant to everybody, they managed to misplace my order. As a result, I must have waited almost 40 minutes while everyone else was served. They gave me a partial refund and apologized, which I appreciated. He called another worker over and they both searched for my food, and after five minutes of scavenger hunting, she found my order sitting up front where he placed it five minutes ago. 2. Back at work in five minutes after pickup, pulled out the huge serving of wilted, cold fries, which were over seasoned. I tried microwaving them, but they were more limp than a 70 year old man's erectile dysfunction. (Trash can was happy, though). 3. I asked for Bleu cheese dressing. What I received tasted like they ran low on Bleu cheese and mixed in Ranch to stretch it out. It didn't even taste like Bleu cheese. Yuck. 4. Garlic, garlic, where for art thou garlic?! I asked for Garlic Parmesan wings (3) and received Parmesan wings...no garlic flavor at all. 5. Hawaiian wings 3) were pineapple flavored true enough, but barely any sauce.
