Listen, my husband and i were in town for another reason, stopped in to play a couple games. The outside of the building looks rough. We have been in some rough places so we werent worried and went in. Very surprised! The AC was cold, the place was clean. The beer was cold and the most surprising part is the food was amasing. Not at all bar food, more restuarant quality. Finally the cues were straight, the table didnt have any weird rolls to it. My boyfriend and I walked in at 5:33pm just now (a Monday) and only about 4 tables were occupied with the majority of tables open. Upon expressing to the female bartended that we wanted to get a table, she informed us that it was "Tournament Night" on Mondays and Wednesdays. I asked what time that starts for future reference and she stammered before saying "7:30 but they may arrive earlier to grab food etc.". I started to say that we only wanted to play for about an hour but it became painfully obvious that we were literally being refused service for no good reason. I'm Never one to play the race card and have never experienced this as a Latina woman but my BF is black and we were the ONLY people of color in the establishment. Stix Billiards in Palm Harbor FL is a comfortable spacious neighborhood bar and pool-hall, tucked into a corner of a parking-lot that isnt shown on some map apps. They have a full bar, and a full kitchen with burgers and all kinds of apps. We were going to a nearby museum, and I wanted a couple of beers beforehand (Jan 2026). The front door in the corner of a strip-mall brought me in at the end of a long bar that divides the room into a billiards area on the left and a table-and-games area on the right. You would register at the bar to use a table, and at noon on a weekday, the 10 or so pool tables were nearly all in use. They host leagues and 9-ball tournaments. There's around 50 seats around the tables. (All my numbers are just guesses :-). The area on the other side of the bar has games like basketball and (electronic) darts, maybe 6 of each along the far wall, and seating for i'm guessing 50 or so. You could throw quite a party here, and with around 30 tvs, this place must really rock on game nights and fight nights! They have $5 per person pool all weekend, $3.50 tacos on Tuesdays, and karaoke of Fridays. I sat towards the back of the dark bar which seats around 20. The bartender was welcoming. There's a surprising number of regular beers, and even some harder to find ones. I had ice cold Pennsylvania Yuengling on draft, and some occasional fun exchanges with the regulars at the bar. Suddenly my friends showed up and i had to hit the road. I'll be back sometime when i can spend a few hours. By the way, our in-car navigation didnt have the correct route to this location. You go east from US-19 on Klosterman between two gas stations, then take a right in front of a low building with a red tile roof. There's some shops behind there, and Stix is in the far corner, with plenty of parking. I like this place. read more

When we stopped by the bar it was not too busy but picked up not too long after. Pool tables were in great condition and had a great time. Bartender was quick on the drinks and we were happy with what we got. Cool place with pool tables darts and just a great place to unwind. Price was right and we would definitely head back. read more

If you expect anything above a (large) hole in the wall pool hall, you went to the wrong place! It has plenty of pool tables, with some darts & other games on the opposite side. The food is pretty good for a bar, and the bartenders are always so fun! They really make the place. Drinks are fair priced.... could you really ask for much more? read more

This place scared the heck out of me at first. The plaza it sits in looks like the kind that is frequented by unsavory characters. Surprise! It's actually pretty awesome, not terrifying. I was expecting a crowd of rough and tumble old biker guys, but I was wrong. Over 80% of the patrons were in their late twenties to early forties. Want to play pool? Go to the left. They've got plenty of tables and it's only $5.00. If you're more of the darts type, that's to the right. Right in the middle is the bar, and the next time I want a drink I'm coming here. We had an enjoyable afternoon, several minor mistakes made by staff, but they made them whole. It wasn't until settling the tab that my experience was dashed. In todays woke culture, not a true fan of all of it, which causes me to otherwise give this remarkable facility a poor rating. It is never acceptable to verbally insult a patron. The lack of professionalism, moronic childlike need for their staff to make fun of someone's name, stirs up memories of bullies in elementary school. I hope the bartender can see past (his, hers or they) pronoun of choice, embrace it, own it, be proud of it but Don't put others DOWN. read more

I've been coming to stix for 7year. The atmosphere is very nice although you have to pay to hear music, and their liquor choices are not the best. Last night my experience was terrible. My server Tori was extremely rude, and not helpful. My first drink she gave to another customer (yet was still on my bill and she never so much as apologized for her mistake) my second drink i had to order from the bar. My third drink was enough for me, i asked her for a captain coke she ignored me(directly to my face) three times. My mothers a regular there so i asked her to try and order it from her. She did tori said okay and disappeared. She walked over to me 4 separate times with other customers drinks who had ordered after me. Finally i decided enough is enough im leaving. I approach tori and ask her to cancel it due to the time. She response saying "oh great because i didnt ring it in haha works out". The place is ok but they're understaffed so dont expect to be treated as if you are paying for what you want. read more

Not being from the immediate area....I was bored & looking for something to occupy my time. I drove by & saw Stix & figured that might be a good place to start. What a cool, very chill place. It offers a full bar, pool tables, darts.....OK, I can handle this. I went to the bar & had a few drinks, to get a feel for the partons & the establishment. Appeared almost everyone was a regular & seemed as chill & laid back as the establishment. It had been quite awhile, but I enjoyed playing several games of darts, it brought back many fond memories. Plenty of friendly people to talk to & the drinks were NOT whimpy......good times. What's a girl to do? When out of town, ask locals where they go to hang. read more

Me and several friends play league here and for weeks and weeks they keep saying they're gonna fix their air conditioning. It's awful it's cold on one side and a 100ﾟ on the other.. Not a healthy environment for people who have respiratory problems. Definitely a grade of 0 If I did not have to play league here I wouldn't come. read more

Went here last night for a date night with my husband. Watched baseball and played free pool. If you have a $10 tab pool is free on Wednesday's? Ski ball, darts, lots of tvs and pool tables. The service is terrible. They will walk right by you and only want service the regulars they know. The smoke is horrible. There is no ventilation and it is too cold in summer n no air at all in winter. Worst of all the management don't seem to care that there female staff mostly hangs in kitchen or bathroom or at waitress station instead of waiting on customers. Not paying 5 dollars a head when i have 8 players on my team and I would let anyone in the bar practice on the table to warm up. Not to mention the waitress asks me why I dont give her a tip. On my only trip to the bathroom 2 dudes were openly snorting something. Some drunk girl with a full beer was extremely rude and tried to kick us out before closing time. I assume so they could close down early, lock the doors, and snort drugs. Cheap beer and the bartender was nice until 20 mins before closing time when he clearly wanted to close early to hang out with the people who were there, who were special enough to hang out after closing time.... I enjoy coming here, many games to choose from & good staff, Camdaddy is the best....lol. Wings are good plus their open till 3am.

Place is nice and has a pretty decent atmosphere and a limited assortment of drinks, the drinks are reasonably priced, overall this is a good place to have a few beers and shoot some pool. read more

This is a favorite for many of my family members - although I am not there as often when I do stop by the services is always A+!!! The staff seems like they enjoy there jobs and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure your visit is memorable! The bartenders and cocktail servers are AWESOME!!!! Been here a few times the staff as well as Patrons seem to be nice, friendly, the place is clean, drinks are not pricey and theres a lot of Pool tables & dart boards, I cant speak for the food as of yet have not ordered any. but they do allow you to go to the little pizza place a few doors down and bring it back to eat it there. someones always feeding the Juke box so there are good songs playing through out the time your there, as of yet I have not stayed past 7 pm so I dont know about the bands or activities at night. would I reccomend you stopping in for a cold one ? Yes.. the crowd varies in ages but its mostly Older crowd (early 30's and up ) its all about respect , you give it you will recieve it but that goes with out saying in most any bar/clubs/pool halls you visit..
