The customer service head office representative, Maria us refusing me to speak eith the regional manager. I have repeatedly try to reach out and closed the matter unsatisfactory. When I went to pick up my shorts, the store was closed with a sign on it from 340 - 410 pm. She dismissed it as a brief closure due to needs of the staff. The store should ever be closed in a mall this long. I was completely dissatisfied with the work done on my shorts. She refuses to put me in touch with the regional manager. The mall in question in Mapleview Mall. Next steps is ti go to the BBB. U should nit be denied the opportunity to speak with the regional manager. This organization is a disgrace from the staff at the store level to upper level management. Please stay clear. read more

I've had many clothing items altered by stitch It at Fairview Mall in Toronto. Today, I picked up 2 sweatshirts which were long in length. I saw the finished work and am very pleased in the way the final stitching is done as if bought from a store. The pleasant young lady who served me was right about the approach to shortening and what kind of stitching. Afterall, she has the experience not me. When the store moved lower from the upper floor, I thought I lost it. I would recommend this store to anyone who asks for alterations. I've got a blazer at The Bay and the sleeves were too long. Took them to stitch it at the Erin Mills location. The blazer cost 65 dollars, to shorten the sleeves it was 51 dollars and on top when I paid with the machine it was asking if a wanted to give a tip. I don't think I will go back again . read more

AWFUL SERVICE AT CLOVERDALE MALL! DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER ( ELHAM). On May 19th 2022 gave 2 jackets for dry cleaning to fresh them up for next season. Both winter jackets are brand new. In 2 weeks, they call to pick it up. The jackets were wrapped up in a cleaning bags, BUT they were NOT cleaned! They said they will send it again to clean it. On June 14th 2022, came to pick up them again as they called. One of the jackets has a sever discoloration on the underarms area. Ask the stuff why you giving it to the client like that ? Answer was " it is not us, we send it off. We are not responsible. Its the cleaners!" I left the jacket at the location and requested manager to contact me. ***I paid 200$ for 2 jackets to hear you are not responsible ????** Next day, I had to call the Manager ( Elham ) at the location. She was rude, disrespectful and helpless towards the client who received a damaged item from the cleaning. Her offer was " Take money and you can clean it somewhere else. Nothing i can do!" Contacted the "Stitch It Corporation". The corporation never call me, only uses emails. Since June 14th 2022, the jacket is in RE-CLEANING based on what the corporation representative ( Mitra) says. Almost 4 month it takes to RE- CLEAN ???? Now they say it is in special cleaning. Why wasn't it there before, or your hire nonprofessionals to do the cleaning? -My jacket is ruined as discolorations- can not be fixed by re-cleaning. -Never received a direct call or apologies for awful service -Based on the Dry Clean Policy - money for damaged item must be provided as well as refund for the "cleaning'' -They constantly do not answer my emails, nor any contact was made from their side. Basically, the location and the corporation is trying to avoid consciousness for damaging my brand new jacket. Be careful with these people! read more

A few weeks ago I bought a gorgeous skirt from a secondhand store which needed alterations. I do consider myself a good sewer but I didn't want to risk making a mistake. A friend who used to work in the area told me about Stitch It in the TD Centre and about their amazing turnaround time, so I decided to try them out. I am happy to report that I'm quite pleased with their work! It was done well and I couldn't have asked for a better turnaround time: I brought in the skirt on Wednesday and I picked it up on Thursday. For a simple job like shortening a hem, they can churn out the work a lot quicker than most places. Regarding their prices, they're on par with other sewing shops. It's a given that the more work that needs to be done on an item of clothing, the higher the price will be. But for a simple job, great work, a friendly staff and a speedy turnaround time, why would I want to get my clothes altered some place else? read more

The alteration is so expensive if they categorize your garment as a night dress. Even a simple shorten the hem of a dress costed almost $50. They did ok job on my several alteration orders. However, they did horrible job on alteration for a dress with zipper. They were willing to fix it when I pointed it out. It was still a bad job, and I don't feel comfortable wearing that dress. What a shame. Maybe I should ask for a refund! This location is always busy and therefore it takes longer time for your order to be done. Since I'm not working at this financial district anymore, I don't think I will use them again. read more

I walked in 5 mins before noon awhile ago. My pants cuff was coming off and needed restitching. I only expected to get it back in a day but the awesome lady (didn't get her name) took the pants, machine-stitched it and gave it back to me within 60 seconds! Talk about jaw dropping. read more

I brought a white pants to be narrowed recently. When I picked it up, it was not altered as per my instructions. I was very clear on what I wanted, to make it fitted but it was still very loose. So, I had to leave it again for the second time. When I picked it up again, it was narrowed but the right side was a little bit tight and the left is a bit loose. The alteration was not even on both sides. I was going to have it corrected for the third time but I decided not to bother because who knows what they will do the third time. I was so disappointed as I paid $50.00 plus tax. I could have bought a new one for less. I would not return to this branch at TD Centre again. read more

Candidly, I would never return to Stitch It for any alteration needs and, moreover, never recommend Stitch It to anyone. The alterations were not ready, as promised after 10 days, and even with an additional week, the alterations were still not done. I am completely dissatisfied with the customer service at the T.D. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!! I went to the Stitch It location in the TD Center in Toronto (66 Wellington Street West in the Path) I brought a bridesmaid dress here because I read the Yelp reviews which seemed mostly positive. I tried the dress on at the shop and told the woman that I wanted the dress shortened enough that I could get by without my shoes on (as most people end up in flip flops by the end of a wedding night on the dance floor). She put the pins in it to mark where she was going to shorten it, and then she had me pay up front. I was only having the hem shortened at the bottom and she charged me $84. She told me the dress would be ready in a few weeks to pick up. When I picked the dress up, I didn't have time to try it on in the store. When I put the dress on on the day of the wedding I noticed that the dress was much too long and still had the pins in it where she marked that it was to be hemmed to! The dress was dragging on the ground with my heels on and I had to have my Aunt haphazardly safety pin the dress just so that I could walk. Now the dress is dirty with holes in it because it was dragging all over the ground the whole day. It was obvious when I looked closely at the hem that they hadn't done any work on my dress whatsoever. When I took the dress back with my receipt to get my money back, the woman just immediately starting arguing with me saying that it was impossible that the work wasn't done. She didn't listen to a single word I said and kept saying that it was impossible and that it was done and kept arguing with me. I became so frustrated I just left the store and abandoned all hope of getting any of my money back. This place basically just steals your money. If you do go here, measure your clothes before you drop them off!!!! You will get the worst service here and if they do anything to your clothes at all, it will be terrible quality. Their website says "trust us. Money back guarantee if we make a mistake". but in reality you will just have them yell at you that you're wrong. read more

For a business in the heart of the Financial District, I had expected to pay downtown prices - 15-20% more than its true value. I could not have been more wrong. First, the prices are even cheaper than what I have paid at a mon-and-pop dry cleaner. Pricing is clear and transparent, and they are setup to properly pin and set your alterations. The work is done quickly and is of good quality, and they seem to want to give you coupons with every receipt. I've had a few things altered there, and each time it has been a good experience. The best was when I took a pair of shorts in that needed a quick fix on the hemming. The nice sales rep did it in 2 minutes for free. Yes, free. That is what I call customer service. Today stitch it really helped me out with a blouse that I had. I wanted a extra snap added and the man at stitch it named James Nguyen was very helpful to me. I was able to get my shirt back in only 2 hours and it looked very good. I am able to take it off in the near future if want. I would give stitch it a 10 on my shirt and customer service. If you need something done quickly I say go to stitch it. Very inexpensive and good quality of work. read more

Went in to get my pants lengthened/hemmed.. Pros: - Super quick Cons: - Unprofessional - when I went to pick up my pants, there was an argument or yelling going on between employees in the back of the store - Measurements - I wanted the pants lengthened a bit for both sides, and all she did to measure it up was draw chalk on my calf for only one of the pant legs, which led to... - The Hem - one pant leg/cuff was longer than the other! I tried it on there on the spot, and thought I was crazy, but the more I looked in the mirror, I couldn't help but notice it. She kept saying that they were identical lengths, and that "she made sure they were the same while doing it." I tried reasoning with her, but she stated that she ensured they were the same. Realizing she wasn't going to do it again, her stubborn/rude attitude, and that life's too short, I just let it go. Tried it on again when I got home and one leg is definitely longer than the other. $15 wasted...don't waste your money on these geniuses. read more

I took my wedding dress to this Stitch It location for an alteration and could not have been more impressed with the service. I didn't have to wait at all and the seamstress was so efficient - she performed the alteration on the spot (it ended up being more minor than I expected) and they didn't even charge me for it since it was able to be done so quickly. If I could give this zero stars I would .. On walking into the establishment there's a large sign boasting same day or next day alterations .. I left 5 dresses to hem and was told to return in 6 days .... wasn't in a rush so returned on the 6th day, then to be told that it wouldn't be ready till 3 pm . At 3 pm I returned after trying to stay in the area, just to see that the items were only just starting to be hemmed .. questioning the tardiness I was told that their advertised promptness did not refer to big jobs ... waited for 30 mins for a poor rush job that left part of the lining of my Ralph Lauren dress hanging out.
