So if your eyesight isn't the greatest it won't be good. You have to pick colors and have the clerk take them down and bring them over. I love what they do for many communities in the area - they provide a space for artists to display and sell their works, they reduce the amount of trash that goes into landfills, they provide materials for just about anyone to make their own art (including and especially teachers!), educate youth and adults on how to make use of the supplies they offer, and they sell "thrift" type items at a great value that run the gamut from puzzles to vases. What I love most is that I can donate goods that I may have thought about tossing, because someone's garbage is another person's art supply! It's worth going to Resource Depot frequently, because you truly never know what you're going to find or how you're going to be inspired. For instance, I just got a string of lights that I want to hang in a dark corner of my home. I found this amazing ball of thick string and webbed colorful materials that I've now made into a chandelier. Their postcards are also so cool, and inspiring me to make other projects. The staff is always so nice and helpful, and when I've looked for something specific for a project, I've always found someone that is willing to help me out.
