I love looking out and I especially get excited when I see dolphins! The river is right off the main San Marco Blvd and can be easily walked to from the main little part of town. It is also arguably the best spot in town to watch the sunset. The sun sets RIGHT over the river and it is always a great sight. People bring folding chairs and blankets to sit and watch. I've seen people bring V Pizza to eat while looking out at the river, and I need to keep that in mind for next time lol! Note that there is no designated parking or benches. There is a crosswalk with a ramp up to the walk way, so this is handicap accessible. Don't miss this beautiful spot in San Marco.

We came here for a picnic over the weekend because we simply had to get out of the house during this pandemic while keeping our distance from anyone else at the same time. Stockton Park is more than suitable for checking those boxes. I wish there was a little less road noise, but that's not the fault of the park. Come here when you need a nice little burst of nature.

Some trash around and on the start of the trail. Beware there were tons of mosquitos on the trail and a stray cat. Who knows how many more. We really have no desire to go back. Those pictures of the "lake" do Not Look anything near like that in person in a negative way sadly and I would probably barely call it a lake.

I can't believe that this is my first time here as I am often in the area and seek out parks to walk and get some steps towards my minimum ten thousand steps a day minimum. But now that I have discovered Losco Regional Park, I will say that I will definitely return to this wonderful park. This park was also pretty popular on this particular Thursday morning. There were plenty of people enjoying the park. Losco Regional Park is truly a great park and I definitely recommend a visit here. I will also give Losco Regional Park an overall rating of five stars. There is also a wonderful playground. And a fishing pier! My favorite part though might be the benches right at the water... a perfect spot to sit and watch a sunset.
