I enjoy bringing my family out, some of us friends meet out there and it is a beautiful thing. However, my experience this past weekend (June 20) was anything but. Unsupervised Teenagers were there. The inappropriate language, the trucks and dirt bikes kicking up sand and the drinking has definitely gotten out of hand. I have no answer or idea on how to curtail these behaviors but at some point it will have to be addressed. One teen was so drunk he could barely stand. The others were trying to sober him up by standing him in the water; and the boy tipped over. We could not reach them because we were in the middle of the lake. It was a horrible situation. A young girl in an uncomfortable position being groped by an intoxicated boy as his friends stood by and watched. By the time an adult tried to intervene, they were gone. This lake should be a place for everyone to enjoy, but that's not easy to do any more

Parking is tricky on Sundays - the market was packed. The park itself is so nice and I love how the vendors were set up all throughout. I also noticed there were restrooms that were not port a pottys. They had a variety of vendors, food trucks, etc. This market is bigger than I expected, and I will go even earlier next time.

And on the other side, a skate park and open field! Definitely nice to stroll around for a little fresh air, sun, and exercise. They do have some covered table areas and benches to relax in if you just want to enjoy the surroundings. I like the chill atmosphere. And the tree coverings are good, so it's not so hot in the shade. I'll try to get more pics next time!

We had to use our GSP to find bc it is well hidden. Once here I was surprised all that it had to offer! They had a well constructed community center though closed now, , I guess you can read it?!I They had basketball courts, lots of pickleball courts (all being used), swings/monkey bars, etc, big multi-purpose field which our pack of 8 year old boys and girls were playing kick ball in and loving it. There is green space too where we had sack races, tug of war....you reserve (or rent) a pavilion where we had our food, drinks, cake etc. Like I said it's a very nice park and well used. One thing was the restrooms, they could be updated.

Came here just for a little walk and to check out the courts and they were busy, there's not a lot of of them so that's probably why they're so busy but the park itself is so beautiful and well-maintained. There's a little lake in the middle and even a community garden that you can stroll through. It was very quaint and small but perfect for a little stroll and there were even some cute ducks here. I would love to try to come to play pickle ball one day and find out the best time to do so. It's so nice to have parks like this in the area to get outside!

At the end, it feels as though you're standing in the middle of the river. As a result, it's a great place to bird watch and see dolphins. The park has nicely paved sidewalks front its entrance which is at least 1/2 a mile. The park also sports a few trails, which don't appear traversed often so be on the lookout for bugs and wildlife. If none of those activities appear, the park has some of the only picnic tables I've seen which overlook the river so a nice spot to eat. I didn't see built bathroom facilities so I believe the only bathrooms are porter potties.

There's trees to help shade the equipment and people as well. The picnic tables allow for family picnics. Such a great park. I will continue to visit.
