I took my 1.5 year old and he had the best time exploring every part of the park. They have so many types of play equipment I have never seen in other parks. The long zip line and the chair zip line were not working while we were there but it didn't feel like we were missing out on anything with so many other fun things to play on.

The nicest playground I have seen in the area so far. There is a water fountain, clean bathrooms and the Clarke House Museum. There are volleyball courts , walking trails and a botanical garden. There are multiple pavilions you can rent for parties or sit under to have a picnic lunch. There is only one thing lacking at this beautiful park..parking. The parking lot is extremely small. If you don't get here early, you have to find somewhere down a side street and walk.

The St. John's Town Center is such a huge boon for the city. It boasts a mixture of standard mall…read moreshops, various eateries, and a sprinkle of high end retail establishments that keeps young and old adults of the city coming back for more. But while we were busy cruising up and down town center boulevard, we found that our kids would be tremendously bored. Up until late last year the only form of entertainment we could provide them during a long day of shopping at the town center was the mall choo-choo train that costs us almost an Andrew Jackson for a 3 minute simulation of weaving between traffic for our 2 kids. Sure we could bring them to the beautiful pond at the center of the mall in front of the Italian restaurant, but with the lack of railings if we don't keep a close eye on them, they could literally be swimming with the fishes (or turtles or ducks)! Thank goodness for the Wolfson's Play Shore for providing our kids a break from all the commercialism. The name itself is reminiscent of the wonderful beaches that attract people to Jacksonville and the colorful sea life play structures continue with this aquatic theme. In regards to safety they've got you covered from top to bottom. The area is shaded and the flooring is made up of that finely ground tire rubber that makes you feel like you're wearing moon shoes. There is ample seating all around the area along with anti bacterial soap dispensers. Once the kids are all pooped out, it's back to the endless grind of spending our hard earned money. I'm glad a play area is finally here. If a free pitstop to unload your kids energy isn't your cup of tea, there's always the choo-choo.

It's a lovely park. I do like the umbrellas that cover certain parts of the play area. It definitely helps. It started raining while we were there, so we sat at the sitting/picnic area. It's nice b/c its covered and also has restrooms. Restrooms are always a positive when you have two kids with you. I don't know how old this park is but the all equipment seems pretty new and more modern. Like I have never seen a faux climbing mountain obstacle at a park before. My boys liked the slide b/c it was a taller, so they got to slide faster. Honestly there isn't more I could say. The pictures speak for themselves. But it is very clean and not near the main roads, so you feel safe. Behind the park is a big soccer field. This park has def. moved into the "Top 5" of recreational parks.

It ended up cutting itself off I believe around 7, or 8pm. Probably 8pm because it was getting a little darker around that time. As I rode around the walking path I noticed a basketball court, playground with play sets, two restroom, pavilion, about 2-3 baseball fields and even a batting cage. Which sounds great, but the amount of trash and loitering definitely made it seem like this park gets a little strange at night. One of the restroom towards the back had a truck camped close to it. As if they were living there. The restroom near the front entrance just looks sketchy in general plus people under the pavilion side eyeing me, along with all the parked vehicle activity made it even more sketchy. I wouldn't recommend coming here at night. Unless you want to get strange.
