I can't say enough good things about Steve. He cleaned out my septic tank back in September 2023 and did a fantastic job. Recently I have been having issues with my septic system backing up every so often between my house and the first tank. I called Steve to ask him for ideas on what the possible causes could be. Steve took the time to come over and try to figure out what was going on. After some investigation and a little bit of digging, Steve discovered that the septic line PVC pipe had broken completely just before it went into the first septic tank. I offered to pay Steve for his time, but he refused. Steve also provided me with recommendations on who to call to fix the pipe also. read more

Since posting my previous review, I was contacted by Mr. Savage, the owner of Stinky Steve's. He expressed regret about my experience and wanted to do whatever he could to make it right. I also learned the technician who was responsible for the "nothing we could do about it" remark had been let go (not because of my issue). I had not bothered to call Steve and complain about the oil issue because I figured it wouldn't make much difference. What I've learned is Mr. Savage is a conscientious business owner who is sincerely concerned about doing right by his customers. I do believe there is something to be said for that, so I decided to update my review.
