First off there was a car blocking one of the pumps of the gas stations completely turned off nobody inside when I went inside we were told to go to another gas station- who does that!! I guess they don't want business they were very rude and they didn't even do anything about a car blocking one of the FOUR pumps to get gas at. Some of the best breakfast/lunch burritos I have had even compared to Texas and California (although I don't feel like it is a fair comparison since these gas station burritos are not "Mexican/Tex-Mex" The prices at Maverick are affordable, even their sodas. You can make a "dirty soda" with various syrups and flavors they have you can add to their extensive selection of soda. The the snacks and bottled beverages though are on the more average side of the prices but if you stick with Maverick brand items, you should be good.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from a gas station store and square ice cream seemed kinda gimmicky, but to my surprise it was so delicious. Does the square shape make it taste better? No, but it does make a cool photo. It was the perfect pit stop on our road trip through Idaho to the Grand Tetons. Also, the price was super reasonable for a single scoop and a waffle cone, which can be well over $7 nowadays. My only gripe was the service wasn't very friendly and we also got the last scrapes of the bottom of the ice cream container, which didn't make me feel so great. Other than that, the ice cream still tasted good and there were generous chunks of cheesecake in it. I kept asking my boyfriend if we could take a slight detour (only 150 miles lol) and visit on the way back. Unfortunately, we never returned.
