Upon arrival in Jacksonhole, we stopped by Creekside Market to grab sandwiches to go, which is about a 20 minute or so drive from the airport. Creekside Market is a small market in a strip mall next to Dairy Queen. It has all your basic food and fishing needs in addition to a deli and liquor market. The deli serves sandwiches, salads, soup, and breakfast burritos. For the deli sandwiches, you fill out a paper slip at the counter and they make it on the spot for you. We ordered three custom sandwiches- one turkey, one beef, and one meatball sub with varying veggies and cheese and all toasted. While the turkey and beef sandwiches were good, the MEATBALL SUB was the star of the show! It may have been the BEST sandwich I've ever had. It is stuffed with eight HUGE beef meatballs slathered in marinara sauce and gooey melted provolone cheese (the cheese pull was 10/10!). It was savory, juicy, peppery, and everything a good meatball sub should be- I can still imagine the taste today and am still drooling for it! I was full eating just half a sandwich and so I had plenty to share with my family members who agreed it was a top-tier sandwich. I would go back to Jacksonhole just for this sandwich!!! Service was fantastic and we got our food within 15-20 minutes after ordering, considering it was during the lunch hour rush. Sandwiches are anywhere between $11.50 a $18.50 for an 8" sandwich (or a little less if you want a 6" sandwich). Note that there is no seating and so takeout is really the only option here. The bathrooms and floors are clean. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for ambiance

I'd be totally fine paying around $3 for something like that, but this felt a little over the top. No matcha, no macchiato on the menu... but somehow they've got boutique pricing across the board. I get it -- trendy place, good vibes -- but when the product doesn't match the price tag, it's hard to ignore. Just keeping it honest.

I was camping at nearby Jenny Lake campground and stopped by here to pick up some supplies. They have anything from groceries to merchandise to camping and fishing gear. They also have a coffee bar and some grab-and-go hot food. Many of the items here are made locally. The customer service was welcoming and helpful when I visited. Gas isn't always easy to find in the Tetons. Outside the store are gas pumps if you are running low. Also in the area is Signal Mountain Lodge, a campground, a boat launch and a hiking trail. I took some time to walk down to the shore to enjoy the view after making my purchase. Signal Mountain is 7,727 ft. You can access the summit by car or on foot.

I was quite surprised that they had white Japanese sweet potatoes, they have the purple skin sweet potatoes, and plenty variety of savory potatoes too. The salad selection was vast as well too. I didn't expect to see vegan options such of tofu, tempeh, vegan cheeze, wonton wrappers, etc, but they had it all. One thing I wasn't expecting was there's NO plastic bags. Cardboard bags without handles are .20 cents/each and the reusable bags are $1.99/a piece. I just decided to get the reusable bags so I can use them again at Aldi's in the future. The reusable bags look small, but are very spacious without feeling heavy if you overload it. The handles are very sturdy too. I must mention the prices are fairly reasonable than Kroger's especially in the produce section. The crackers were pricey compared to Texas prices. I'm just glad the vegetables were cheaper. Clean store. Helpful staff. Plenty of parking.

Whether or not that's true, I can surely say that I was here at this Maverik last weekend. I recalled foggily that I had been there before and so I pulled in with a hazy "maybe" but with fond recollections of the gas station. I did indeed buy fuel here, and if you're headed out of town, or into the parks, this is absolutely the last stop you should make before heading out because gas is scarce in any direction once you leave Jackson. I was just topping off and did a few hundred miles that day in the name of being safe, so the extra 1/8 tank was just a security measure. I did also use the restrooms because it was a 2 hour drive into town and I'm a human who had orange juice at breakfast. Someone in our group has a theory that Maverik has the best bathrooms, and I think I agree. These were reasonably clean and spacious, and the mini mart inside is also fully stocked with cold and shelf goods. It's not too far from the center of town, but if you're just hanging around the square, you do pass a few other gas stations on the way.
