Bone Dry Roofing - This London, OH customer was looking to update their worn and dirty siding. Now they're the envy of the neighborhood!

I was impressed with how Bone Dry presented themselves and just had a good feeling about calling them. They setup an appointment with a salesman Gordon Rodgers and he was very nice and helpful with determining what the house needed and what we wanted to be done. Price was reasonable and we received discounts depending on certain things which helped. Scheduling was easy. The day before the roofing crew came out I was given a courtesy call who to expect and supervisors name . The next day the crew came out and began working at once to make sure things would be covered for safety to the landscape and windows. Program director appeared to make sure the crew was on schedule and helped out with getting things hauled away from clearing the roof. Supervisor came to help with directing the actual install of the roof and later the chimney flashing. When all was finished , the crew did an exceptional cleanup up of the surroundings . Appreciated their bosses came out to check on how things were coming along and if I had any questions. Liked the fact that pictures of each step of the process were forwarded to me until they were done. Work was done nicely and very satisfied. . The crew and guys in charge were super nice and worked consistently to get things done. Kudos ! Kathy M

I was absolutely convinced I had a major drainage design problem…read more My underground downspout lines drain to the street ditch, and after seeing water back up around a riser pipe, I was certain the issue was a site engineering flaw. In my mind, there were only a few possibilities: the lines needed to be re-pitched, the ditch connection needed to be lowered, or the whole system was somehow hydraulically inadequate. I had this drainage system installed just last fall, so the idea that it could already be clogged seemed impossible. Enter A+ Gutters & Drains. They came out the very same day I called. After I walked them through my highly sophisticated theory of grades, elevations, pitch, and drainage design, we headed to the discharge point at the street ditch. The technician took one look and smiled. "There really shouldn't be a glued-on end cap with a tight grill on it. These tend to back up and clog." "No way. Not already," I replied. "Would you like me to check?" he asked. A few minutes later, after attempting to pry it off with a screwdriver, the cap ultimately had to be cut off with a Sawzall. What was waiting inside? Inches of roof shingle granules, debris, and enough gunk to completely prove my engineering theory wrong. In about five minutes, A+ solved the mystery that I had mentally escalated into a full-scale drainage reconstruction project. To their credit, they graciously cut off the other problematic caps as well and explained why they were destined to clog. No upsell. No unnecessary work. Just an honest diagnosis and a simple fix. As I stood there processing the fact that my "catastrophic drainage failure" was really just a blocked outlet, the technician smiled and said, "Bring on the rain." And with that, he was off. Was my ego slightly bruised? Absolutely. Did A+ save me from chasing an expensive problem that didn't actually exist? Also absolutely. I only wish I had called them first. From now on, A+ Gutters & Drains will be my first call for anything related to gutters, drainage, or water management. Fast response, honest expertise, and a team willing to save customers from their own overthinking. That's a combination that's hard to beat.

My gutter was backing up due to a downspout not being able to drain. This was a result of ground…read moresettling causing damage to the underground drain line where that downspout flowed. The estimator recommended replacing the existing gutters around the entire house with a larger size ($10-12K) - completely ignoring the root cause of the issue. As this expense was outside our budget, his recommendation was to call back in a few years when I had enough money saved to pay for it!!! An immediate fix was needed... he reluctantly agreed to provide an estimate to relieve the affected gutter by adding a new downspout in a different location to connect with the underground drain line where it was flowing properly. I contacted two other gutter & drain companies and amazingly their first advice was to do the latter (add a downspout)... and both quotes came in less than half the cost I was quoted from A+ Gutters & Drains. Providing a cost-effective resolution was not in their best interest. Be aware!

My sales person came out quickly and provided a quote. He even quoted for windows as well. They were within my budget and I gratefully added those as well. The team was fantastic along the way. Each crew I worked with was a pleasure. Windows went in first, then siding, and then a gutter crew to finish up. I love my new exterior to my house. It is so beautiful and a huge change from the old dingy siding.

Despite the patio not being treated before winter, then when they did come out it was a terrible finish and another company corrected. The patio is not level in a couple areas and the custom stamp and cuts they made in the patio were not lifted up causing a bubble like look. Also, while completing the project, I called in numerous times to complain, I would have people come out at the end, but after several services calls and nothing accomplished, I finally stopped fighting and said I would leave a review. So there's my reviewMy patio was never finished properly and it makes me very sad as I spent $53,000 so be very careful when hiring the correct pick for your outdoor patio.

The crew gets to my home, rings the doorbell but doesn't wait to speak to me, they just got on the roof to to work. Once they were finished, I expected to speak to one of them about the job and the estimate, but once again they rang the doorbell and when I went to open the door they were halfway down the street. The biggest problem was that on the invoice they left on the door was an additional charge for respiking the fronts gutters. At no point did these unprofessional workers come and get me to discuss my options, they just "fixed it" without my approval. I spoke with the manager and she stated that her crew saw that the gutters on the front of my house we're hanging "they weren't " and that majority of the time when her crew comes across a problem on a house they just fix it and the customer is ok with the additional charges. REALLY! in what world when you're conducting business do you just tack on charges without the customers knowledge that they'll be paying extra. She then she goes on to tell me she can charge me half the price of the additional charge or have the crew come back out to remove the new spikes that they allegedly put in. Or they can come back out to my house and explain to me what they did and charge me full price. Oh and did i mention that when they put the alleged new spikes into my gutters they put new holes into my house. So, if they were to remove them I would have multiple holes in the side of my house that are exposed to the elements. This is by far the worst business that I have ever dealt with. Stay away from them by all means. UNPROFESSIONAL. The following day she called back and removed the additional charge. So for that they get two stars.
