Dolly, went above, and beyond and was kind enough to ensure the group waited for me to get there, as little did I know that there was a race happening in Ellicottville and traffic. Holly, and Debbie were the trail guides that instruced us on techniques with riding our horses. All the horses were well trained, opted for the one hour ride that was well worth it. The trail consisted of crossing the road, woods, going over a hill and the creek. My horse was " Chick", and had a blast on a beautiful fall day with great weather. Look forward to returning in the future, maybe ill be brave and do a winter horse ride.

We had two tour guides, one in the front, and one that would ride along side of us and would go to whoever needed support. The horses were all well behaved and followed each other without needed too much guidance. For only spending $95 CAD for 1.5 hrs, it was definitely worth it! From 2020 on we used to get food, snacks, beer and other stuff here very regularly...like three times a day sometimes. We got dinner from here at least three times a week and we loved it. At some point a new owner took over and a lot things went downhill. We eventually had to stop going there all together because of all the mistakes and lack of accountability. We recently tried them again and was happy with the food. Well, that was short lived. The last three times we've placed an order online it hasn't even been started by the time they said it would be ready and we have to wait. In addition to that, it has been totally wrong with missing items each time. It happened again this morning, our order was missing two orders of hash browns. I called the listed number in an attempt to get a refund (because this is the third time and it's adding up) and it's off the hook, busy signal. This isn't new. The kitchen literally takes the phone receiver off the cradle so that they won't receive phone orders. My husband has witnessed it in person. Apparently they don't want to cook. Since the renovation the phone is digital, but they still turn it off. This has been happening since the new owner took over and he won't do anything about it. This is strange to me. Doesn't he want business? Anyways, sorry for the long review. We can't get food here anymore (again) because times are rough (again again) and I'm not going to buy from a shop that won't refund for wrongly prepared or even completely missing items. This is my absolute fav farmer's market in Western New York. They sell gardening supplies, plants,…read moreetc. however they are special in what they market in produce. Many so called farmer's markets sell produce that is grown at various farms around this area yet they market it as their own and charge ridiculous prices. English peas for example. I am a raw, English pea fanatic. When they come in season, which should be any day now, Miller's (they grow their own) sell them initially for roughly $3.99 per pound. Price lowers as season continues. On my first of the season visit I usually buy five pounds or so, I clean them out. Remember too that with English peas there is a great deal of waste as the pod is inedible. Various other so called farmer's markets sell them by the pint or basket. Hello - a pint of peas?? A mere teaser for me. The weight is so minimal that I'm guessing it's about a fourth of a pound or less. These pints are not cheap. Maybe $3.00? I got stuck on the pea thing so let me venture to other veggies. Every product that is grown in their fields is marked as such. They grow corn, tomatoes, green and wax beans, melons, really a wide variety. They also sell things grown elsewhere which is noted as such. I can't say enough about the integrity and quality of this market other than "Stay Away" during pea season or you might be leaving with a stump on the hand that tried to take my peas. This also applies to sweet corn.
