There are wooded trails as well as fields and a service road to drive or ride down that are truly beautiful and really make you happy that you have a horse to share the experience with. There is also an outdoor ring a short little ride away from the barn that is also regularly dragged and has great footing for driving or riding. The barn itself is always immaculate, I have a really hard time even reading the other reviews because I've been here for almost 2 years and it has honestly been the nicest barn I've ever been in and I used to attend one of the most well-known equestrian colleges in New York State and the level of cleanliness and care that Debbie and Greg work towards for their own place equals that. They treat me and my horse incredibly well. He is a mini and they accommodated him greatly when we first arrived by adding to their fencing and building him a door that he can see out of, and regularly ask if I am happy with his weight as they are knowledgeable enough to know that these guys can have weight issues pretty easily. They are quick to answer any questions and always make sure to greet with a smile. I always feel welcome here. I feel like they truly care about my horse and I deeply appreciate that. The stalls always have fresh shavings, clean buckets, and are cleaned regularly. The barn aisle is always clean, the wash stall is always ready to be used, with a well lit overhead light, water, and vacuum ready, and the tack room is always welcoming and tidy. The stalls are 12x12 so they are actually nice for larger horses and pretty graciously sized for ponies, and is practically a condo for my mini. It is quiet and enjoyable for me because a lot of places don't know how to handle a mini, let alone a mini that drives -- so I also have to mention that it is incredibly easy to store my cart there and they also have very handy lockers to put other equipment in. I really can't say enough about this place as it is really a place I wish I could have as my own and I've never had to worry about my horse, I always know he's in good hands.

It was a wonderful date night with my little lady! Everyone was pleasant and encouraging. We were able to eat picnic dinner and play on their playground after and watch the other horses. We stayed for about 2 hours, with 1/2hr being the one on one lesson. She loved it! She was scared for a moment when the horse sneezed and asked to get down. Nikki handled that situation perfectly and encouraged her to get back up there. She did, and finished the lesson with pride! We can't wait to go back!!

We had a great experience with Legacy's summer camps for a few years running. But we were using a…read moredifferent farm for regular lessons. This summer, an instructor convinced my 10 years old to switch lessons to Legacy. My daughter loved the facility, looked up to the instructors and was promised more challenging lessons. Unfortunately almost weekly, the instructors canceled or rescheduled our agreed upon time. They changed a private lesson to group lesson without discussion or price adjustment. They increased the price of a private lesson on us with in weeks of starting. Multiple times, we showed up for lessons and discovered the instructor absent. The lack of care and responsibility the instructors demonstrated towards my daughter and the heartbreak they caused ultimately led us to leaving the center.

I came as a visitor once, and saw some of the conditions of the horses, and did not like it at all. One of their former employees was awesome and took good care of the horses and really cared about them, but I'm definitely not a fan of the way they treated her, nor the horses. I highly recommend the stable on Salt - Brookfield - over this place, if you want your horse to live in luxury and to be treated the way your horse deserves. I was last here maybe 18 months ago. I am sure I will find that I will be back one of these days.

All the horses are well cared for. The lesson horses are awesome! You can learn something different from each one... Merlin being my personal favorite :) I would definitely recommend Brookfield to anyone looking to board their horse or take lessons.

I drive past this farm a couple of times a week. It's absolutely beautiful, and so are the horses that roam the fields here. I've only been on to the facility a couple of times, but everyone was friendly and it was a five-star facility all the way. Their employees are wonderful, their facilities are top notch, their horses are beautiful, and Steven Spielberg himself has several ponies here. Okay I can't back up the Spielberg claim, but that's how magical this place is. I could not recommend it more highly to anyone with horses that need a home.
