I lived in Valatie for two years while working nearby on Route 20. This store, by far, was the cleanest and best maintained location of them all. I held all other (and still do) convenience stores up against it. The staff always helpful and the place was CLEAN. So my 5-star rating is for this specific store. Were there others that were close? Yep. Stewarts in East Greenbush on route 20, smallest store I visited, but well run and clean and the Stewarts in Chatham. Stewarts as an organization... Top Notch. I got to know several employees at the different stores and was amazed at the benefits package that this regional chain offered its employees. For someone starting out, its a great place to learn some good old fashioned business values. So a BIG LOUD SHOUT OUT to LANCE! Dude you ran a tight ship. You knew it wasn't about being popular, but doing what needed to be done and getting it done. Back in CT folks here don't know what a Stewarts is. Wish I could still stop in for my hot cup of tea and the grab-n-go peanut butter roll.

But the lady at the drive-through waiting on me anyway it was very courteous and gracious. Then I went into the store not knowing that they were closing. I was offered assistance by a gracious lady who even bagged my items at the self check out while i finished the transaction. It was only after I overheard one of the workers mention this to another, that I called to find out their hours after I got out in my car. I found out that indeed they closed at 9 o'clock. I thought the lady was pretty fantastic and super friendly, also wishing me a Merry Christmas. Well done and thank you CVS!

The counter read for one was off but they still want you to use it. They accept credit from the local grocery store rewards center, but could not process the savings. Was there on a busy Sunday driving thru the area the congestion into the street was awful. Under construction sithin the pavement area and the potholes awful. No wiper rinse ststion. No air or water station worked. No public restroom. Owners are so rude they refused even a receipt for cash payment. If I have time I will report them for dispensing gas with no meter/clock!
