The clerks are all very nice and friendly, The stores carry a large array of grocery items, plus their own brand of milk products and ice cream (New York State's biggest industry - for those who may not be aware of it - is not tourism, but actually dairy farming, producing 73% of the nations yogurt, among other items). Getting back to Stewart's, though, they are a very community-oriented company and they really try to please their customers. This location is right off the main highway, and offers gasoline, too, so it gets pretty busy here on the weekends with folks stopping in for a quick bite with their fill-ups. She refused to sell it to us because she said it's illegal for her to sell it to me after someone with no ID came up with it. My friend is 3 years older then me. The cashier is in the wrong and doesn't know the law because I can buy it since I have my ID and it's my responsibility on what happens with the beer afterwards. Honestly this place should train their staff better since their staff are incompetent and should know what the law truly is.
