For mains my guests had the fried sampler platter, broiled and cajuned shrimp and scallops, and I had the prime rib added scallops at $3 each. My prime rib was tasty and substantial but the temperature was just warm, not hot, and therefore had to be sent back. Once corrected the meal was great. Scallops were small but they gave me double the amount at the same price because of the size. The sides were mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts which were seasoned well and tasted great. Sprouts were tender but not mushy. Potatoes were tasty with a good intentional lumpiness that I appreciated. Also tried the lavender lemonade mocktail which was delicious. Decided against adding the one pound of King Crab as the market price was $99 and I can get a bag of two pounds for $70. We didn't do dessert but will next time were in the area because the slices of chocolate cake we saw were HUGE and the varieties looked scrumptious. Service was pleasant although there was a long block of time after we received our food where we were looking for the waitress so we could pay. The busser ended up pitching in. Overall, great food and service with older, living room vibe decor. Would recommend!

As I'm looking at the menu I'm intrigued with the variety of foods they have. I opted for the Rueben. I don't like rye bread so I asked to put it on a Kaiser roll instead. I am so glad I picked that. It was probably the best Reuben sandwich I've had as long as I can remember. It came out hot, and I mean hot!!! Cheese all melty and it was delicious!!! The owners Yaakov and Dvekah very friendly, conversational, and inviting. I want able to stay and eat very long because I had a precious appointment but I am very happy I went in. Gonna be going back soon and bringing my wife with me this time.

Boy, are we glad we did. At first glance, the menu seemed pretty simple with limited options, but sometimes less is more and that was definitely the case here. We started with the banana milk, and it was phenomenal. You could taste the fresh banana in every sip, perfectly blended and not overly sweet. My wife ordered the strawberry milkshake and it was just as impressive; creamy, refreshing, and full of real strawberry flavor. For food, we shared the turkey sandwich, which was out of this world. The flavors were balanced beautifully with fresh veggies and just the right amount of sauce. To top it off, we ordered the waffles with fresh fruit, which were absolute perfection. The waffles came off the grill hot and crisp, paired with vibrant, fresh fruit, and drizzling rich maple syrup onto them was the highlight of the meal. The place itself is small and cozy, with a cabin-style charm that makes you feel right at home. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy simple but incredibly well-made food, and appreciate the little details that set it apart. Can't forget the staff as they made the experience incredible as well with the quick service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm on a road trip up north. This is definitely a hidden gem worth going out of your way for.

I think the menu has expanded. There were salads that I could have ordered but when I read the description of their Rodeo Burger, I just had to have one: local beef with huge onion rings. provolone cheese, BBQ sauce and thick Applewood smoked bacon strips on a brioche bun. Wow. It was divine. It cost about $13 which might be a little steep for most burgers but this one was far from ordinary. The same goes for their boozy milk shakes which run about $10. I picked the "Top of the Mornin' ," which consisted of Colombian Coffee Ice Cream, Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Irish Cream, iced coffee, whipped cream and fudge. That was every bit as amazing as the burger. However, I only drank half of my shake and gave the rest to my friend because I had to make sure I could drive home. We were both fine. Service was very good. I think it only took about 10-15 minutes to fill our orders. That's pretty remarkable when you see what's involved. It's a family-run operation and everyone there is nice including the young woman who took our order. The farm themed restaurant was very busy when we stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. It was too late for lunch and too early for dinner but plenty of customers were apparently in sync with our schedule. There've been some upgrades to the decor since I last visited a few years ago. It seems they've added a fireplace at one end of the restaurant and a large farm themed play area for kids on the opposite end. There's even a taproom. It's a clean, cozy, family-friendly eatery that serves up farm fresh food. I didn't realize that Del's has another location in Rhinebeck and a family dairy farm in Red Hook. Perhaps my roadtrips will take me there someday.
