I told them i wanted to host a small group of about 6 to 8ppl I placed my orders for the boils and was just going to get one extra app then the girl said "no worries appetizers on the house" I was like ok cool. She said she would give me 1 order fried fried 1 order of fried calamari and 2 of garlic bread. I was very grateful. Paid and went to wait in my car so i would get a ticket She brought my order to the car and told me she added more appetizers and added fries. She said "we we take care of you you come to us for parties next time" and gave me 2 big bags one w what i paid and one w all my free apps. When i got home i was so pleased. I had 2 orders of fries about 4 orders of bread(i think 3 piece of bread in each orders) 2 of shrimp 1 of calamari. On the house! Now thats some excellent customer service. My friends already asked me about coming back for a sit down. Everything tasted amazing! When I t

I've been to quite a few seafood boil restaurants and I wanted to add this one to my list…read more The restaurant has cute decor....lighted fish nets in the ceiling, graffiti writing on the walls, it has a good amount of space and you're able to social distance. The staff wears masks and gloves which is a good thing. My girlfriend and I started off with appetizers, I had the fried oysters with fries, she had the spinach and artichoke dip with nachos. The oysters were good, the fries were DELICIOUS. The best part was that neither was overly greasy. My friend said her dip and nachos were good. We each had two glasses of sangria and they were pretty good as well. Now onto the main part.......I ordered the crab legs with shrimp (head on) combo with garlic sauce. My girlfriend ordered the king crab legs with shrimp garlic butter sauce as well. Your food comes in a bag with two pieces of corn. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to come and it was cooked well but I have to say that the sauce left much to be desired. I ALWAYS get the garlic butter sauce when I order these boils and most times you can taste the sauce after you've cracked open your crabs or eating the corn. At this restaurant I didn't taste the sauce at all even while eating the corn. Needless to say I was disappointed. Would I go back?? I'm not so sure - as I feel they just missed the mark.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and clean, with nice music playing in the background that really set the mood for a relaxing brunch. The staff and service were excellent everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. The drinks from the bar were honestly some of the best I've had in a long time. The bartender definitely did not skimp on the liquor, and the drink was perfectly made. For brunch, I ordered the omelet with jerk shrimp and it was absolutely delicious flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the catfish and she loved it as well. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. She also ordered dessert and really enjoyed it. Toward the end of our meal, Alvin, the owner, came over to our table and introduced himself, which was such a nice personal touch and made the experience even more special. Before leaving, I even ordered food to take home because the meal was that good. Overall, this restaurant was an excellent choice. Great food, great drinks, great service, and a great atmosphere. My friend and I enjoyed it so much that we are already planning to come back again with our husbands. I would definitely recommend Alvin & Friends for brunch.

They have updated the bar and the dining room. The wood is lighter. The bar doesn't smell like old beer any more. We get there at 11:30. By noon, there's already a long wait. Service is friendly. The chicken wings are a top three rendition. We always order ours crispy. They stopped serving celery on the side a while ago. As a purist, I bring a ziplock bag of celery sticks. I say raise the price of an order of wings by 50 cents and serve celery again! The waffle fries are great. They have a surprisingly diverse menu with a big selection of beers. There are desserts, but I have never been disciplined enough to save room. It's cash only. This is the platonic ideal of a burger and wing joint. Set the celery sticks free!

Still consistently delicious. Large meaty wings and drummies, connected. Lots of sauce, to the point when you break them apart, there's a lot of splatter (I think I hit a kid with some sauce about two tables away). Service very good, prices comparable to other wing places. I asked my waiter how many pounds they sold on Super Bowl Sunday. He mentioned "between 18 and 19 thousand pounds!!!" Wow, double wow. Vast majority are ordered in advance and this year they cut off orders about a week before the game. This trip was a solo run for me. My wingmen were nowhere to be found. 4 very sloppy stars

That's they only think saving this place. It was a Friday night and supperrrr dead. We dined in and was served on plastic Tupperware, no water was offered to us, and "karaoke night" was non existent. I'm just so sad for this place cause it has so much potential. The food is good and the place is clean. But with mid type of service (at one point we just walked up to them, lack of cutlery, lack of life, Bobo's just doesn't have any restaurant culture. I will say though, even though it's good, my chicken pourover rice came with no veggies and my boyfriend's calamari came with no lemon, which was also weird to us. Do you need help with marketing Bobo's? There was clearly so much effort in the design, but I don't know what happened to the actual culture of the restaurant. There shouldn't be only two parties on a Friday night. I wanna see you win Bobo's! I'm so sad yesterday was not a winner.

Im from the south and we have these places everywhere. They can compete with Juicy Crab and all the others. The sauce most important was delish. We ordered the Bobo's sauce medium and it was really good. The shrimp were large and good which made up for the super small crab legs.. see pic. Since the crab is the biggest cost driver of this dish I really should give this review a 3 but I think the business can do better so hoping you will take the chance to do so. The catfish - 5/5. A lot of restaurants down south are trading out swai or basa. I asked the cashier if it was real catfish, she thought so and I am happy to say it was! Really good catfish would come back and get this. They came with sweet potato ff for an extra $2 which were very good, especially dipped in the Bobo's combo B sauce... not to be confused with the additional dipping sauces provided. I did not use those. SUGGESTION to BIZ- instead of giving everyone the sauces ask them if the want it so you don't waste money. Calamari-- pass. 3/5. So much breading I couldn't taste the calamari. I was here for the normal chewy calamari texture and couldn't get to it with all the batter. Batter was flavored decently. It was empty for a Monday night... If you have not done so yet try them out!
