Called Heritage Contractors for a quote and they came out promptly and broke down the quote by the 3 items we needed replaced. Roof, Gutters, and Windows (two separate quotes for windows, because we could not decide if we were going to replace the windows on the north side of the house) and it was such a good price, we decided to get it all done at once. Charlie from Sales was such a pleasure to work with and very funny. There were multiple options, colors and materials and Charlie gave us so many suggestions and help that it was easy to choose colors and options to stay within our budget. The roof and gutters were done really quickly, even with all the delays due to the rainy weather. Windows needed to be ordered and it took 8 weeks, but once done, they look awesome. We were worried about 2 specific windows, but once Heritage took care of them, our concerns were taken care of without us even asking. Each interaction we have with a different staff member is a pleasure. Really a great company to work with. Shout out to Danny who worked with us on our roof and gutters. Great people. Highly Recommend.

They did an excellent job and had it completed in just a few hours! They saved us countless weekends of work and, very likely, a trip to the hospital. The was an area wide storm and they were very busy. Brian Ronan checked our roof and took detailed pictures of the storm damage. He provided a quote to replace the roof, skylight, and gutters. After speaking with several other roofing companies, we decided to go with APEK. We had never filed a homeowners claim and APEK was very helpful in the process. We were placed on the schedule and waited our turn. The APEK office is very good at keeping the customer informed. Our roof date was pushed back due to weather issues impacting the jobs before ours. The weather this year has been crazy. The APEK crew arrived on August 31st and got right to work on the roof. This was a hard working and great team. The weather impacted the job, and it took two days to do the full roof. Not a problem because the final product looks beautiful. The third day was the gutter team. Again, a hard-working crew that knows what they are doing. New gutters and downspouts installed and pitched correctly. Both teams did a great job of protecting our home, plants, and other personal items outside. I am very happy that we went with APEK. I would highly recommend APEK if you have storm damage or simply need a new roof. We had a fantastic experience with APEK from inspection to new roof and gutters.

Not a good experience overall. The price was competitive but the work was questionable and the…read morecommunication was terrible. They added a bunch of roofing material to my roof hatch cut out making it much harder to fit the hatch on top of the opening. I had to end up cutting back a bunch of the extra roofing material to make it fit and hired a handyman to help me do that. They also left nails and garbage on the roof and in the backyard. They left a broken plastic tube that expels water from the furnace hanging over the side of the house where it was splashing onto us in the gangway. When I asked Nick on a Sunday to have someone come back and take a look at it he said someone would come look on Monday. I didn't hear from anyone until five days later on Saturday morning when Nick said he would come look at it. I told him I had already fixed it. To be clear, I think the tube got ripped in the storm damage, but they could have told me about it or at least not left it hanging over the side of the house if they weren't going to fix it. Communication was really bad too. They came out right before a downpour on a Monday and had to pause work in the middle of that. They were then going to come back the next day, but then told me later they would come back Friday. Nick told me his guy would come Friday morning possibly before 8am. I was surprised to have JR on my porch and calling me at 6:10am. I've never had a contractor show up that early and told him I couldn't disturb the 2nd floor tenants that early. JR said he would be back at 1pm. He came back at 8:55am instead without explanation and expected to be let in. When Nick and company failed to show up to address the plastic tubing situation, he said he felt bad and wanted to make it up to me. I told him he could send me back $100 for my time and effort addressing issues related to the roof job. I spent 2-3 hours of my time addressing roof issues (tubing and roof hatch), going to Menards, and spent money on a handyman. He has yet to reply and that was three days ago. The price was decent, but I very much feel like I got what I paid for and had to pay extra in both my time and money to remediate the project. I would not hire them again.
