This is a nice pizzeria open later than most in the area. My friends and I were only here for the night, and we needed something simple and good. The pizza is made fresh and crispy, without too much cheese or sauce to make things soggy. (Of course, you could adjust as needed). Everyone was satisfied with their slices. The staff is pretty friendly and quick too. Bonus, there are some billiards tables; we didn't use them but they were pretty popular for a Tuesday night.

This place is delicious. Did not disappoint my new pizza joint. Service was great and all in all neighborhood friendly. Such a fun atmosphere with pool tables and chess boards.

Ordered their sausage parmesan pasta. It was a bit salty but still tasty and it was a generous portion.

The pizza crust was a bit chewy. Drinking a coke with each bite made it palatable. The photo shows how small it was for $17. SERVICE: The real reason for the low review was the service. The restaurant has about 34 seats and four were occupied, plus us. She ignored us. When she finally came over, she did not say hello, did not introduce herself, did not say welcome. She said. "yeah?" We ordered. She did bring the food. She plopped the two Coke bottles on the table. We had to ask for glasses and ice. A big sigh and a huff but she did bring the glasses. When we were done eating, she came by with the credit card machine and said, "Cannoli?" We said no thank you just the bill. She walked away. Then she cleared a table (one couple left) and no one else came in. She straightened the chairs, made personal phone calls, walked around and finally brought the bill. We could not understand why she acted that way. We were nicely dressed, were polite, no complaints made. Nothing negative on our part. Even if she was having a bad day, there was no reason to be like that to us. There are so many restaurants in this area where you are treated nicely. It will be a while before we give this place a second chance.

You can tell they're not cutting corners here. The service really stood out. Staff was attentive without being overbearing, quick with anything we needed, and genuinely welcoming. It actually feels like a place you'd come back to, not just try once. Bottom line: solid food, strong service, and a good overall experience. Definitely worth a visit if

The two owners used to sell their pasta out of Tornatores restaurant but now they have their own shop. While I was there the owner was making gnocchi. They have containers of made in house marinara (7.95) and meat sauce so you can purchase everything you need to cook up a pot of pasta. For dessert they have tiramisu, pistachio and ricotta or Torta Della Nonna by Bindi. The frozen pizza has unique toppings. I bought the zucchini and at home the pizza baked up to perfection. The pizza was thin and the crust came out crunchy. I loved it. I also bought a tray of lasagna that was frozen. You let it defrost a little and then bake it in the oven. So easy to make and so good. The store offers items in frozen and refrigerated cases and shelves of a few Italian cooking staples. The couple that owns this store are so friendly, happy to explain anything and excited to have their own store. I like that you can buy authentic restaurant quality food at Supermarket prices. One person was sitting at an outdoor table, there was a table of six and a table of 2 seated ahead of us. The last page of the menu states food is prepared "a la minute," so prepare yourself for a 15-40 minute wait for your food. If this is the case, we'd like to recommend the owners put out some bread and butter for the patrons to munch on as they prepare for the long wait. We watched as the table of 6 food came out rather haphazardly and certainly not all at once. We happened to have a coupon for a free appetizer, so we ordered the Crab Dip and a side salad to start along with our main entrees of "Fall Off The Bone" Ribs and Octopus Rissoto as soon as the server came by to take our order. So, 4 tables for her and she was by herself and the owner was in the kitchen cooking the food. The server bumped this review up an extra star. After sitting, waiting for quite some time, we had to ask the server if she could at least bring out the salad, and she said it was coming next. We'll, the Iceberg salad, came out along with the lukewarm Crab Dip and chips that could have been fresher. So, we ate those, and the main entrees were ready to come out as we finished the dip. The server brought out the fries and coleslaw and then we waited for the entrees to follow. The Octopus, surprisingly, was the best item. The rissoto was too dry for us. The ribs were the worst we've ever had dining out. Even with the sharp knife provided it was tough to cut the ribs apart from each other and the backside was burnt. Again, we were told the owner was cooking. These ribs should never have come out of the kitchen. We ate 2 of the 4 ribs and asked the server to take the other 2 back and present them to the chef along with our remark of them being the worst we've ever had when dining out. The server took the ribs back and removed $5 off the $17.99 ribs. As we left there was one table left finishing up their meal. The owner had every opportunity to come out and address the ribs and our dining experience but apparently chose not to do so. Anyway, we dine out at least twice a week and prefer to give the smaller mom and pop establishments are hard earned money. So, I implore the owner to go back and read MM's review from 2 weeks ago and realize nothing seems to have changed in our eyes. We won't be returning either as he/she had every opportunity to receive feedback in person while we were at the establishment. By the way, the server didn't know we were getting a complementary appetizer when she gave us the $5 off the ribs and we have no idea how she came up with that figure. Service was very good from her with what she had to deal with in the kitchen.

Still 5 stars since I can't bump it up another notch. They have their staples like Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Bolognese, Shrimp Fry Diavolo, Puttanesca , Piccata, Gnocchi, and a variety of delicious pizzas and appetizers. There are too many to name. This restaurant can stand on their own with their standards. Where they stand out is with their specials. The chef here is always innovating and trying some new dishes. I wish I could get a notification of what's on the menu each night. I've had some amazing surprises with the taste and presentation of these dishes.
