I found this service online and was curious to try. I had a snowblower that had a few issues and needed some maintenance done. Steve was very responsive. I had no way of transporting my snowblower to his shop so he offered to pick it up the same day and return it when the work was done. He was able to diagnose any issues that there was and also made any recommendations that were needed. The pricing was very reasonable. It's a small shop so only cash or check is accepted. The winter of 2014/2015 was too much for our six-year-old snow thrower. It died clearing two feet of snow from our driveway. My husband called Steve --who offered to pick up the snow thrower immediately. An hour later he was at the house troubleshooting the machine. He took it back to his shop, fixed and tuned-up the snow thrower, and returned it to us within 3 days (just before the next big snow storm hit!). Thank God for Steve! Had we brought our snow thrower to one of the "big" repair centers, I'm certain it would've taken weeks to get the snow thrower repaired (and would have been more expensive to boot!) Steve had my Stihl string trimmer for almost 4 weeks. When he returned it to me I eventually found he had broken it, failed to repair what he broke but more disturbing was that he tried to hide this issue. My trimmer ran very roughly for about 1 hour and when I looked closer I found he had broken the spark plug wire assembly. The spark plug rubber boot was now missing, he had jury rigged a wire connection to the spark plug and amateurish covered the connection with electrical tape. Since the spark plug cap is a friction fit with the boot and now wouldn't stay on, he glued the cap to the engine housing which failed very quickly. His repair job was very poor at best and more important was that he left my trimmer in a state that was dangerous to operate. I had to pay an accredited shop to repair the damage that he had done. $79.76 wasted. Do not bring any repair work to Steve, he is dishonest and untrustworthy. read more

He came out and picked up the same day I called, expecting to get it back within a week. The next day he called that it was ready! This man has no interest in working on old equipment. He is extremely rude and instead of giving a reason he doesn't want to service your equipment... he hangs up in the middle of a conversation. I left three messages and even inflated the tire he asked me to inflate so it would be easier to load for pick up. Still, instead of telling you he doesn't want to service OR he's too busy, he just hangs up in the middle of the conversation. He had my name and number.... never returned the call. In my opinion, he doesn't need to be running a business with his RUDE behavior. If your equipment is old.... forget this service! read more

Amazing service!!! I dropped off my Snowblower to be serviced and not even an hour later I got a call from Steve saying it was done and ready to go. It gets better, I called another big shop in town to compare prices and they quoted me at 70 bucks for what I was having done. I broke the starter cord on my 12+ year old Ariens snowblower. Of course this happened just after a snowstorm we had on a Saturday. I called Steve's, and he was able to come and pick the snowblower up at my house the next Monday. Steve replaced the starter cord, changed the oil, and gave the snowblower a complete tuneup. Terrible place to perform any service. Requested to fix my relatively new Toro snowblower for belt issue as it got snapped. Tried to replace it myself same issue happened again. so few weeks back, specifically asked Steve to check and fix , based on all the great reviews. Guess what he just put the new belt and told.me it's all fixed. When the ran the machine with no load to warm up to clean the 6" snow fell on the ground, the paddle stopped working within a min as the brand new belt got snapped again as Steve didn't care to fix the actual problem. Ended up manually shovelling snow for 4 hours as Steve never bothered to respond to my request. Worst place and don't fall prey for the cool website as the service quality sucks. Do yourself a favor by finding a good dealer or another reliable and reputable service shop for your service needs as this place isn't cost effective either to start with. read more
