I am new to the Cincinnati area and (naturally) this is when my car's AC stopped blowing cold air…read more I called Christian Brothers and was told to bring my car in the next day. All the staff were so helpful, particularly Jason, in explaining what the problem was, and how much it would cost to fix it. The price was very fair and they even loaned me their company truck (free!) so I didn't need to rent a car or take an Uber to work. The front office was decorated beautifully for an auto repair business and the customer service was just as warm and welcoming. My car was repaired the same day and I was advised that if the problem recurred, I should bring it back in because they put a dye in the AC system to locate a potential leak. I highly recommend this business; I can't remember having such an enjoyable experience with an auto repair business!

So the owner Doug B. (No last name) responded to my negative but truthful review of my service…read morecomplaint. He never reached out to me personally until my review. He then exposes the fact that I am also a business owner and put my company email on his response. I am a proud 52 year business owner and can honestly say I have never treated a customer that way I was treated at Christian Brothers. Not saying I never had an issue on a order but always worked a settlement out. I got nothing for the $2800.00 repair that didn't fix the problem after I was assured it would. After it didn't He now informs me that can happen. Another $3600.00 with this company where would it end.

Jacobs has serviced all of my vehicles since 1986 just 3 years after I moved back to Cincinnati…read morearea. I needed someone who had the integrity and equipment and training to work on vehicles that I could no longer handle due to all the electronics. Jacobs was recommended to me and after a couple of visits I learned that I was getting thorough reviews and then some extra tips about what to watch out for in coming months. I have never been overcharged, I have always been treated fair, when problems came back (infrequent) they were handled without question (except helping to diagnose the issue at hand). When I need to get my car in for a repair I can always write a letter about what I need done, call the current owner Tom who maintains the integrity of Jacobs operation, and drop my cars off and the keys in the drop box. I could not be happier with their service they are a hidden treasure on the east side. I almost hate to put this in for fear of block myself out of service time. But Tom and his guys deserve all the credit. :)

Made appointment for a Wednesday morning. Dropped my car off the night before. Blower motor not…read moreworking, top radiator hose/connector was broke and oil change. Told them i think it might me a short somewhere in the wiring. Received excuses for 3 days, why they couldnt get started on my car. That friday, told them i needed my car, or i would need to take it elsewhere, as i had to work on Monday. Ended up getting a rental car/additional $200. Charged $1000 for so called repairs. 2 fuses replaced, radiator connection replaced, oil change complete. Brand new blower motor shorted out. Quoted additional $350 to replace blower motor. Didnt have money. Replaced it myself. 2 Days later, blower motor went out again. Called them, was told all wiring was checked. IT WAS NOT. Bring it back in. No thank you. Took it to Steves Car Care, by Buckwheat road. Wiring harness was bad, shorting out the resistor and new blower motor. Jocobs DID NOT offer anything to fix THEIR mistake. Cost me an additional $740.00. I do NOT recommend this place.
