When I dropped the car off, I explained that I wanted the front tires crossed to the rear for the rotation. Marty said she completely understood. I recommend Tire Discounters but NOT the Eastgate location. The manager, Garrett, seems like a knowledgeable and pleasant enough guy but did not follow through on things he said he would do. When I called them for the 4th time today he began to make excuses instead of own the mistake (which they made). Honestly, he attempted to blame me for the piece they lost until I cut him off and let him know this was their mistake. The REAL PROBLEM - They did not return my lug nut key to the vehicle after tire rotation. I called 3 times today and was told each time they would call me back (they never did). The 2nd and 3rd time I was told the key was placed in my cup holder. It was not. The 4th time I called they said they would call me back (I told them I did not believe they would call me back since they had not yet called me back the other 3 times. This was when Garrett started making excuses and said it was in the cup holder. I told him I would hold while he looked). This time the key was magically found. Now I have to go back over there and pick it up after work. I will not be going back to this location. I would advise anyone who reads this to consider another option. read more

Disappointing experience with Tire Discounters. My car was experiencing a slow leak in a tire. Went to Tire Discounters without an appointment on a Friday. They were unable to fit it in but told us to come back on Saturday and leave the car with them. They said they should get it in on Saturday. Car was dropped off early morning. It became close to closing time and we had not received a call from Tire Discounters. We drove to the store to discover the car had not been worked on it. When we went to get in the car, the battery was dead. We are assuming that when they got in the car to fill out the paperwork somehow they either left the door open or left the lights on. Once the battery was jumped, I have not had an issue since. Perhaps in future, Tire Discounters could have a policy of always making an appointment for tires rather than just telling people to show up. read more

I would recommend Tire Discounter but definitely not the Milford Location. Twice, I've have taken vehicle there and twice I've received bad service. The latest incident was Dec 31st. My wife called this location 2 days prior to inquire about getting her tires replaced. She was given a appt for 12pm Dec 31st. She got there right at 11:50 to check in for her appt. Once checked in she informed the counter person that she was leaving to go have lunch and would return afterward. When she returned at 1pm she was informed that it would be a couple hours before the work would be completed and that if she needed to leave they would call her when it was ready. At that time she was also informed that they were closing at 4:00 for the holiday. After not hearing anything around 3:30 we droved back to the facility to check the status especially since she was already informed that closing time was 4pm. Upon entering the parking lot we noticed her vehicle being driven into the first bay. First reaction was maybe it was coming back from a test drive. Upon entering the facility we found out that the work was just about to start on the vehicle. At this time we requested the work not start and that the keys be returned. One person who had been on the phone during the discussion stated that they would be most likely working to 9 or 9:30 as they had the previous night. While I sympathize with the work schedule, as a customer that's not my problem. My problem was being given an appt to bring the vehicle in to have the work done yet 3 and a half hour later the work had still not started. My problem was being told after returning from lunch that it was going to be a couple more hours before work would be completed and again it wasn't. This facility failed not only my wife's trust but my trust too. This facility failed to give quality reliable service. It sad when you try to support local business in your neighborhood and end up repeatedly disappointed. While we've been a tire discounter customer for over 20 plus years this store has definitely brought me to the point of looking elsewhere for my tire needs. I can without a doubt say that I will never, ever visit this facility again. We always had great service at the nice clean Eastgate facility when we lived in that area. read more

Just repeatedly disappointing. This location seems perpetually understaffed or just incapable of handling walk-ins. I've been in twice with nails in my tires in the last month and both times was told it would be 2-3 days before they could get to it. The road protection plan I bought with the tires doesn't do much good when I have to go to AAA Bob Sumeral to get my tire patched. Success is a double edged sword, and the down side is that service suffers as business booms. That certainly seems to be the case with Tire Discounters. read more

They were awesome told me to hang for a second they would take care of it right away. 15 minutes later I was back out the door tire changed and getting her back on the road. TIRE DISCOUNTERS MILFORD IS NOT HONEST! Went in to Tire Discounters in Milford on 28 to get new brakes on my daughters car. I knew the car needed new front brake pads and rotors. Chris called and told me it also needed new shoes and drum brakes on the back for a total over $1,000. I told them I would take it elsewhere to do the back cheaper, just get the front done. When I picked up the car he said the back brakes need done ASAP they were completely gone. Like he was trying to scare me before I left the lot. I took it somewhere else who informed me the back drum brakes are perfectly fine. They should be good for about another 15-20,000 miles or so. They don't have to be replaced right now but he would replace if I wanted them done. I found a new place that is honest! NEVER going back to Tire Discounters! read more

I took my car to Tire Discounters in Milford, Ohio and have 4 co​mplaints about the service. First, the good stuff. The tires were what I requested and at a fair price. My appointment was as requested and completed as promised. Now for the complaints. First, when I paid the bill, I did not notice but they had added road Hazzard warranty. I called that day and requested a refund. It took over 3weeks to get them to credit it back with two calls to the store and finally 2 complaints to the home office. Second complaint, my tires had some minor vibration. I waited a few weeks and it was still there so I took it back to have it looked at. Third complaint, apparently the technician took it for a drive, did not feel anything so they did not look at the balancing. So much for lifetime balancing. It is only of value if the actually check it. I finally took it to Firestone and had the tires balanced. They gave me a report that showed all 4 tires were out of balance to some degree. Cost $64 but they are smooth now. Fourth complaint goes to the home office. I wrote to them about my experience and heard nothing back. Again I have to ask, what good is lifetime balancing if the organization will not do it. I have bought tires and had repairs there for years and walked away from this experience very disappointed. read more

I've been buying tires at this store for over 20 years. Today I was a few minutes late for my appointment to have my tires rotated and balanced. The manager gave my appointment away to a walk in. He pointed to to a white van that was pulling into a bay as I was driving up and said he gave my appointment to that, but I could wait 45 minutes or make a new appointment for next Friday. I waited four days for that appoint he gave away. They weren't even working on the van yet and he could have pulled it back out and honored my appointment but he wasn't interested in customer service. I won't be back until they get a new manager. My wife took her car in with a screw in the tire. They told her the flat couldn't be repaired because the puncture was too close to the sidewall. She would need 4 brand new tires for $750 on a Subaru Outback. I personally Looked at the screw which looked pretty far in from the side wall but I'm not a professional. Decided to drive it up the road for a second opinion, they fixed the flat for $15 and said the screw was not anywhere near too close to the sidewall And if anyone said that they either didn't look at it or were trying to take advantage of a desperate situation. I wish that leaving Negative stars was an option...or at least ZERO stars, they don't deserve the 1 star that I had to give them. Horrible customer experience. I bought a set of 4 Yokohama tires in 2016 with the additional road hazard coverage. The front driver side tire went flat. Took my vehicle to the Milford store where the tire was patched for the first time. The very next day I woke up to go to work and the tire was flat again! Took the car back where I requested they replace the tire as the patch did not work, Brian the general manager refuses to replace the tire and patched it again. About two weeks later the same tire is losing air again. Frustrated with the service I received at Milford I took the vehicle to the Sharonville location, they again repaired the tire, blaming corrosion from the rim of my tire. About a week later I was back in at the Sharonville location, same tire, losing air again....Sharonville agrees to replace the tire. This is my 4th visit to a Tire Discounters store with a problem with the same tire. Sharonville replaces the WRONG tire, replacing the passenger side front instead of the drivers side front. I bring this to their attention before leaving the store, they told me I was wrong. Aggravated more than I would like to be, and not wanting to argue anymore I left the Sharonville location, to continue adding air to the front driver side tire basically every 3 days. On Sunday the tire went completely flat, 3rd time. I called tire discounters in Milford, spoke to Ben, he told me to drop the car off the following day and they would replace the tire, not for free, but for a prorated amount from the still active road hazard warranty. Much to my frustration, I went to pick up the vehicle and they had NOT replaced the tire as Ben said they would, but they patched or repaired it again. I told the Brian the store manager everything that had already happened with this tire, he basically called me a liar, refused to replace the tire unless it went flat again. So not to my surprise I woke up this morning to the same tire being completely flat. Not even 24 hours after it was " repaired ", for the 5th time. I am upset because I am going to have to put the spare tire on again, I am upset that I have had to argue to try to get your company to honor the road hazard warranty that I paid additional money for. I am upset that I have to miss paid hours of work to take care of this yet again. Is this the type of customer experience Tire discounters strives to provide? Why offer additional road hazard warranties if you aren't going to honor them? I have a been a Tire Discounters customer for 16 years, after this awful experience I will NEVER spend another dime of my money at one of your stores again. Finally, at the end of this I had a new tire put on by Bob Sumerel in Milford. Very happy with the service I received from them. Regarding Tire Discounters reply....I have provided my information so that someone from your company could contact me. Not very surprising here, but your company has yet to contact me back! I was told I had many options to replace a tire. When I went for the appointment, I was told of only 1 compatible tire. It was much more expensive than the last tire I bought for the same car. When I looked at the bill I was charged $20 for a warranty that I didn't agree to buy. I also had to return to the store because they forgot my hub cap. I'm tired of being ripped off, inconvenienced and treated poorly by people I'm paying. read more

I went to this TD for an alignment because I knew my car needed one. They tried to sell me 4 brand new tires instead. Nope, I don't need 4 brand new tires... BUYER BEWARE! I have purchased all my tires from Tire Discounters including brakes, etc. I stopped in last Saturday with my son with a totally flat back tire. It was after the official "close time" of 5PM. However the entire garage was open and everyone was working. The guy inside looked at my tire and said there was a nail in the tire and it WAS NOT REPAIRABLE. He then quoted me a price for a new tire of $165. I asked him if someone could just change the flat for me since I had no way of getting home, to which he said all his guys had already worked 40 hours and he would then have to pay them OVERTIME. He then told me to go to WALMART!!!. He put air in the tire and I left and went to BOB SUMEREL, who told me I absolutely did not need a new tire - patched the tire which cost $7. Had a wonderful experience even before I got to the shop...Kyle Kovach worked with me over the phone to get me the best price on my new Bridgestones in town! He showed me the reason why my old tires were wearing on the outside (alignment, which is free of charge with the tires, of course!) and that rotation should be done every 3-5,000 miles (free!). As to their response to my post of 11/17/2016. They response was with proper care and maintenance. My truck was in every 5000 miles and front end alignment checked and adjusted every 10000 miles. My truck is back to the dealership every 5000 miles for an oil change and anything that needs to be done. So don't even imply that it was my lack of maintenance was at fault. You seen the truck every 5000 miles why was there nothing said by your crew at the Fields Ertal store. I Think you have people that saw this coming and said nothing. Why you my ask? Because Goodyear gives a complete replacement on defective tires with less than 5/32 wear. If this was brought to my attention sooner it would not have cost as much. By not doing their job at T/D they get to sell another set of tires and charge an enormous price for tire mounting and balance and of course you need a front end alignment. So that in 30,000 miles I will have $2200.00 in a set of tires. Believe me they may help you get into a new set of tires but will leave you all alone when it comes to PROPER MAINTENANCE, OR BEND OVER WAY OVER FOR ANY WARRANTY. read more
