I…read morefelt very comfortable in knowing that the Auberge is an all memory care community, meaning that it is more inviting and open, where in other settings the residents are shoved and locked back into a corner. The staff focus on interaction and engagement with the residents and it truly shows. Very impressed.

This place was great before the COVID. The state has made it a requirement to allow two designated…read moreessential caregivers a weekly visit with the option to visit in the resident's bedroom (even if it's a shared room.). However, Auberge has made it nearly impossible to have any contact with my family member. They all but prohibit any kind of check-ins. I've been allowed one 15-minute visit every two weeks in the designated area. They offer a free Covid test, but it takes them 10 days to get the results. They only do face-time calls after multiple requests over a week period. (We ask every other day, and aren't pestering them but probably should). They actually sent us an email asking families to 're-think' in-person visits. There have been no reports or details of the status of my relative. We're looking to move them, but it's so difficult to change arrangements. I definitely encourage anyone looking to place a loved one to look elsewhere, and find out if the facility permits the essential caregiver visits. 2-stars because up until 9 months ago the folks working here were extremely kind and took great care of the residents. And because they have kept my loved one alive, as far as we know. I have to wonder what's going on over there that they won't allow reasonable visits and are refusing to follow state laws.

I would like to express my utmost gratitude and satisfaction with the outstanding care provided by…read morethe Bethesda Gardens for my Mom. We found Bethesda Gardens when we were looking for respite care for my Mom while we were out of town. A few months later, she requested that she go live there full time, due to the friends she met, the activities and the great food. Post COVID, my wife and I had to go back into the office and she was missing the companionship. We started her out in assisted living and she was very independent; but as her needs progressed, Bethesda had options, including the all-inclusive apartments that made the her care affordable. Once her memory declined, we were able to move her to Memory Care within the same community. My Mom enjoyed the activities, especially bingo. Once she moved to Memory Care, the activities aligned with dementia and gave them structure throughout the day. The staff members, including the directors, nurses, med-techs and caregivers, displayed an unmatched level of compassion and dedication. It was evident that they genuinely care for the residents and prioritize their well-being. They establish genuine relationships and strive to meet the unique needs of each individual. The caregivers go above and beyond to ensure that my Mom receives personalized attention, support, and a sense of belonging. They not only assist in daily activities, but also provide emotional support and companionship. It is evident that they genuinely care for the residents as if they were their own family members. Furthermore, the level of communication and transparency between the staff and families is exemplary. This fosters trust and reassurance for families, knowing that their loved ones are in capable hands. They were with us to the very end and gave comfort to my Mom as she transitioned to Heaven. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this assisted living facility to anyone seeking a supportive and comfortable home for their loved ones. It has provided my Mom with a sense of independence, while also ensuring her safety and well-being. Thank you to the entire team for making my mom's golden years truly golden.

This place is just ok. The staff is not great, but not super bad. It's the evening and weekend…read morestaff that are clueless as to how to take care of my mom. Wouldn't even put a band aid on her 2 separate occasions because they 'didn't have any orders for her'... whatever that means. The management SAYS they'll check on mom weekly but has never done it unless I asked them. My mom hates the food! She says nearly every meal is chicken-something. Watch your bills. Their billing system is horrible. My mom has heard several residents say the same thing and some have taken there loved ones out of there because of billing. It's hard to find a good assisted living place because there's a bit of a turn over rate in the staff. In the 3 years Mom's been there I've had several issues with incompetent hourly staff. Some are just there for a paycheck and it's obvious. Some are new to America and aren't as nice as us Texans If I wasn't afraid that I'd regret moving her to somewhere else, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

From the moment you walk through the doors, it's clear that this community is something truly special. The staff lead with compassion and integrity, creating an atmosphere where residents are genuinely cared for and valued. Every interaction feels heartfelt, you can tell they truly love what they do. The resident engagement is outstanding, there's always something meaningful happening, from creative activities to uplifting events that bring everyone together. The sense of joy and connection here is something you can feel. The community itself is beautiful, warm, and inviting, thoughtfully designed to make residents feel at home and families feel at peace... especially the Assisted Living area of the community. Most of all, the team here goes above and beyond in every way. They are the heart of this place, and it shows in the smiles, laughter, and care they share each day. If you're looking for a senior living community for yourself or a family member that truly embodies compassion, integrity, and excellence... this is the one!

She's one of the least competent and mean spirited people I've ever known. Please don't agree to the nightmare that is Broadway Cityview for your family. Management constantly changes (3 different companies in 7 years). They failed to recognize and communicate effectively about my parents to my sibling and myself and so my parent kept repeatedly failing. After breaking their hip and having surgery, one of my parents has moved on to another facility that can care for them properly and I couldn't be more relieved. Shame on these people who ruin what should be the best part of people's lives. The food is horrendous as well.

And to be totally honest with you I hated it there, but I soon came to realize that it was not the staff it was just me being an ass and not familiar with City view surroundings. City View has a great rehabilitation service and very professional staff. I was very good taking care of. The nurses and doctors were there every time I needed them. All the staff were great, I would like to Thank a few People who were there for me 24/7 and treated me like I mattered. Thank You so much! Tess Sayon for being there by myside even when you had other things to do. You became my friend and someone i will never forget, Latonya Carr Breyuna Robbinson, Chazz Cross, these people were great and very personal, and they know how to treat you as a human I would also like to thank Jade in the physical therapy department for causing me so much pain, LOL But I believe it worked! So, what can say about Ben Carrillo? This man works harder then anyone I know, he is always looking out for you and your wellbeing and asking if you're ok. all the time. Ben goes above and beyond his normal duty as a nurse. This man will do most anything for one of his City View patients. Thanks to everyone for being so nice, and professional. A big Shout out to Admissions Director Christie Shockey and Taryn Springfield Receptionist For all there help you both keep the wheels turning! Now let's talk about the food they serve. This is a hated subject among the residents, 50 percent of the time, if not 75 percent of the time no one likes or eats the food that is served. I have watched as the residents return their trays and without eating anything but maybe the dessert. Come try it for yourself!!! I was fortunate enough to order out most of the time or I would have lost so much weight and became sick!!! Because I refused along with others not to eat what is being served. I'm not sure who decides what the residence have for their three meals, But I would bet whoever it wouldn't eat the food served here. Whoever you come watch a meal being served and a elderly man or women look at the food and with tears in their eyes try and stomach the food on the tray because there hungry and that's all there is. But as far as the nurses and everyone here there doing a great job with what they have to work with. Thank You for being there for me and the others. How could i forget this amazing woman Tracy AKA HOT SAUCE LADY One morning i ordered Breakfast Burritos and no hot sauce with the order, but Tracy in Physical Therapy came through She had some!!! Ok City View work on the food Quality for the elderly and i will recommend this facility. Word of mouth goes a long way. Now let's talk about this so-called drinking water. The water here for the patience taste bad, well it should because I find out the water for the patience's here is coming from the faucet in a room that is for other things not water for the sick. it was confirmed by a staff member I didn't get their name. The faucet has NO water Filter whatsoever, but I have seen several Water coolers throughout this facility, but I was told that they were for the staff members/employees. You would think at least one cooler per floor would be nice! Don't you think? once again this is not the nurses or the staff members on the floor this go's higher up people!! Let's get this problem fixed Let's do it for the elderly I believed they deserve at least that. The nurses and all the staff members are doing great, it was my pleasure getting to know each and every one of them staff I will honestly miss their company.
