She fell on the floor three times in one night the first two times I caught her on my camera and I called somebody to come help her the third time happened at 1 o'clock in the morning and she was on the floor by herself all night, covering herself with a jacket, unable to get up and unchecked for over seven hours. They wouldn't change her on a normal basis she would wear the same clothes over and over, leven though I would tell them to change her the last straw is when she was all the sudden non-mobile and they put her in a wheelchair we had no idea what to do. They're the professionals finally, we made the call to have them call 911 to have her sent out. Turns out that one of her Falls gave her a hip fracture which she had immediate hip replacement. She got it replaced that day and was in rehab. She came back home to Mustang Creek Estates and within two days she woke up or should I say didn't wake up and was lethargic I looked at her on my camera and noticed she was still sleeping and it was almost past 10. I called her son to ask what's going on as she was lethargic and not responsive and he said that they took a blood pressure and just told him it was low and that was it so I asked her son to ask how low it was in the 50s over 40s, which is critical and her organs were failing. I told her son that they need to call 911 that second cause every time makes a difference between immortality. It's like they didn't even know how to read a blood pressure and that blood pressure clearly this place does not have the appropriate medical training. They don't even have a nurse on site. Just know that they have somebody that makes her rounds once a week and not everybody can even read a blood pressure that should be mandatory to facility like this thank God I had my camera because if it wasn't for that, she would be dead by now. She is now thriving in Roanoke at another facility and they are taking good care of her. They changed her every day. They bathe her appropriately. They have an on-site nurse five days a week. This place is a complete joke and my mother-in-law deteriorated so fast just within a couple weeks of being there and she lasted 4 to 5 months to say the least if you're looking to save money, this place may be a little cheaper, but sometimes for a little bit more, you can fino care with dignity, and the turnaround of staff was also a huge concern. They pay these people peanuts therefore they don't stay. You can even read glass door and look at reviews of former employees. I did a ton of research after all of this and should've done my way more research before I even had my sweet mother-in-law walk through the door.. these people are all about profit and it'll probably take some even bigger act of negligence for this place to get shut down at some point. I do have pictures and videos to support what I have seen. they also just covered up her sheets with her comforter when she was incontinent and messed on it and they just put a comforter over it and I caught it on the camera and they said that she didn't have an accident and I said yes, she dia. I could see it clearly on the camera and you just put a comforter over and just left it instead of washing her bedding. The laziness was astounding that happened twice.. Always get a camera. If I did t" babysit" her myself, she would have been gone sooner. here is one picture and I have videos of when she was on the floor for over 7 hours unchecked, as no one did their rounds. Other times she fell I had to call the house, and half the time the line was busy I had to call another house to help her. She is now unable to walk for the rest of her life.

I would like to express my utmost gratitude and satisfaction with the outstanding care provided by…read morethe Bethesda Gardens for my Mom. We found Bethesda Gardens when we were looking for respite care for my Mom while we were out of town. A few months later, she requested that she go live there full time, due to the friends she met, the activities and the great food. Post COVID, my wife and I had to go back into the office and she was missing the companionship. We started her out in assisted living and she was very independent; but as her needs progressed, Bethesda had options, including the all-inclusive apartments that made the her care affordable. Once her memory declined, we were able to move her to Memory Care within the same community. My Mom enjoyed the activities, especially bingo. Once she moved to Memory Care, the activities aligned with dementia and gave them structure throughout the day. The staff members, including the directors, nurses, med-techs and caregivers, displayed an unmatched level of compassion and dedication. It was evident that they genuinely care for the residents and prioritize their well-being. They establish genuine relationships and strive to meet the unique needs of each individual. The caregivers go above and beyond to ensure that my Mom receives personalized attention, support, and a sense of belonging. They not only assist in daily activities, but also provide emotional support and companionship. It is evident that they genuinely care for the residents as if they were their own family members. Furthermore, the level of communication and transparency between the staff and families is exemplary. This fosters trust and reassurance for families, knowing that their loved ones are in capable hands. They were with us to the very end and gave comfort to my Mom as she transitioned to Heaven. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this assisted living facility to anyone seeking a supportive and comfortable home for their loved ones. It has provided my Mom with a sense of independence, while also ensuring her safety and well-being. Thank you to the entire team for making my mom's golden years truly golden.

The only thing they do there is to feed them, and the food was not great. At times we found her nails to be dirty as if they had not bathed her, then she got lice. She never had lice in her entire 90 years. On top of that she just passed away a few days ago. I found her in the dining room slumped over in her wheelchair with snot coming out of her nose and they were not even paying attention. Two days before that she was fine. I had to bring it to the med tech's attention and asked her to get the nurse. The nurse came about 10 minutes later and acted like her condition was of no concern. When the hospice nurse came to check on her, she was running a fever and appeared to have an infection. Four days later she died. Had they paid closer attention to her condition we might have been able to save her. Additionally, since she was only there half the month, they have figured out a way to keep most of her fees for the month instead of refunding them as they should. Don't place your loved one there or you could end up with the same story we had.

However, Auberge has made it nearly impossible to have any contact with my family member. They all but prohibit any kind of check-ins. I've been allowed one 15-minute visit every two weeks in the designated area. They offer a free Covid test, but it takes them 10 days to get the results. They only do face-time calls after multiple requests over a week period. (We ask every other day, and aren't pestering them but probably should). They actually sent us an email asking families to 're-think' in-person visits. There have been no reports or details of the status of my relative. We're looking to move them, but it's so difficult to change arrangements. I definitely encourage anyone looking to place a loved one to look elsewhere, and find out if the facility permits the essential caregiver visits. 2-stars because up until 9 months ago the folks working here were extremely kind and took great care of the residents. And because they have kept my loved one alive, as far as we know. I have to wonder what's going on over there that they won't allow reasonable visits and are refusing to follow state laws.

The people at the front are lazy and all they do is walk around and look cute. For the most part the those at front don't ever walk around the facility, the only spot that they interact with residents would be the dining area. The caregivers know more about the families and residents as they should. But i would not do as much as those young ladies do with the amount of pay they are receiving. Another thing is they always want these women to work extra shifts. Why should they when the pay is garbage, who cares about over time, cause soon they gone stop that OT as soon as they don't need anymore extra help.

I am beyond EXHAUSTED trying to get them to dispense medicine ACCURATELY and CONSISTENTLY and provide caring SUPPORT consistently. The facility is attractive and the staff appear friendly. HOWEVER, the management and responsibility of the staff falls SHORT!! Very very short. They state they have a full time nurse but that isn't evident. Also they state the nurse practitioner is the physician. Their medication aides are NOT trained professionals. I could go on and on. Bottom line - as a health care professional I am VERY concerned with the lack of medical training, professionalism, and responsibility of this facility.
