Dr. Bitar has such a calm and reassuring demeanor. He is thoughtful, patient, and genuinely kind. From the beginning, he made it his mission to get me to a place where I could come to the dentist without needing medication for my anxiety. I honestly wasn't sure that would ever happen, but it did. I no longer need medication for my dental appointments, and that says a lot about the level of trust and comfort he has created for me. His entire team is part of that experience. From the front office staff, who have always been patient with me when I've needed to reschedule, to his hygienist, who is excellent at what she does, to the dental assistants, who are always patient, kind, and reassuring. What makes it even more frustrating is that months later we receive text messages saying we still owe additional money--even after paying everything they requested upfront. When we call to ask for an explanation, they take no responsibility. Instead, they blame the insurance company or imply that it's somehow our fault. There is very little transparency in how they calculate costs or explain what we're expected to pay. This isn't a one-time issue. About two years ago, we were told to pay a large amount upfront because we would supposedly receive reimbursement from our insurance. Unfortunately, our insurance didn't cover the procedure as they had led us to believe, leaving us responsible for a much larger bill than expected. We understand that insurance estimates aren't guarantees, but this office consistently provides poor estimates while refusing to accept any accountability when they're wrong. It feels like they're always asking for more money, and the lack of transparency and customer service has completely eroded our trust. We expect honesty, clear communication, and accurate financial estimates from a healthcare provider. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience here. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

OUR FIRST VISIT - THOROUGH EXAM & TREATMENT PLAN During our first visit, they gave both my wife and me very thorough evaluations and explained the dental work that each of us needed. Tanya was especially helpful in going over our options and setting us up with a no-interest payment plan. This made it much easier for us to move forward with the work we needed without having to take on the entire cost at once. We never felt pressured, and having this option allowed us to finally take care of our dental needs in a manageable way. Tanya made the process clear and straightforward, and we really appreciated her help. JULY 7 - MY WIFE'S CROWN My wife came in for a crown with Dr. Justin, and her appointment started on time. We also appreciated that they have the technology to make crowns in-house, which made the process very convenient. What surprised my wife most was the numbing injection--she didn't feel it at all! She actually asked Dr. Justin if he had already given the injection and was surprised to find out that it was already done. She was comfortable throughout the procedure and was very happy with her crown. JULY 23 & AUGUST 5 - DEEP CLEANING WITH McKENZIE I had my deep cleaning completed in two appointments, first on the right side and then on the left. McKenzie did an excellent job both times. She was gentle, patient, and took the time to explain what she was doing. Even the numbing injections were surprisingly comfortable--I could barely feel them. I especially appreciated McKenzie's patience with my blood pressure. I experience white coat syndrome, so my BP can initially rise during medical or dental appointments. She never rushed me. She gave me time to relax and patiently rechecked my blood pressure until it came down to a comfortable level before proceeding. That understanding made a big difference in helping me feel comfortable. SEPTEMBER 11 - BRIDGE PREPARATION I returned for my bridge preparation with Dr. Justin. Once again, I barely felt the numbing injection. Afterward, he carefully checked each area to make sure I was completely numb before proceeding. He was very thorough and made sure I wasn't experiencing any discomfort. Stephen assisted with the mold and temporary bridge, and his attention to detail really stood out. He was extremely meticulous--almost a perfectionist--in making sure everything was done correctly. SEPTEMBER 24 - PERMANENT BRIDGE I returned for my permanent bridge. Stephen prepared everything with the same incredible attention to detail, and Jessica double-checked everything to make sure it was right before the final installation. Dr. Markham installed the permanent bridge and carefully checked and adjusted my bite until it felt natural and comfortable. When I saw the finished bridge, I was genuinely amazed by how natural it looked. The color blends beautifully with my surrounding teeth. With my old bridge from my previous dentist, I could always tell that the color was slightly off. This new bridge is completely different--it blends so naturally with my teeth that I'm extremely impressed with the result. OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE After several visits, what stands out most is the consistency of the care. For my first appointment (dentist and hygienist) a few weeks ago, I intentionally scheduled the earliest time of the day to avoid delays. I arrived 15 minutes early, as requested. Despite that, I waited...and waited...and waited. I was repeatedly told they would be with me "soon," but no one ever came. I finally left 45 minutes past my actual appointment time without being seen. I decided to give them another try and rescheduled. Today's appointment started off better. I arrived 10 minutes early, was called back on time for X‑rays, and the dentist was professional and efficient. No complaints there. But after that, I was sent back to the waiting room to wait for the hygienist. And once again, the waiting began. The front desk staff actually asked if I was waiting from someone receiving treatment. Really?! Eventually I was told the patient before me was taking longer than expected and that I would need to wait another 40-45 minutes. I declined. I understand delays happen, but this seems to be a pattern here. I don't pretend to know the inner workings of a dental office, but I do know I value my time and don't appreciate being kept waiting--especially after arriving early and scheduling morning appointments specifically to avoid this. At this point, I can't recommend Imperial Dental based on my experience with their scheduling and wait times.
