A TRUSTED DENTAL OFFICE! I had trouble with my insurance a couple of weeks ago and the office personally helped me get to the bottom of things and solve the issue! The staff up front are very helpful and attentive. As soon as I walk in I get greeted and acknowledged! I also love how easy it is to get an appointment, I never have issues with scheduling. One area of improvement would be providing more notice as to which provider I'll be seeing. A lot of the times I schedule to see Dr. Park and I get a totally different doctor when I arrive . All of the dentists are pretty good, however it's kind of an unusual surprise each visit. Other than that, I like this office. I came in for a cleaning and gum maintenance and my doctor did a thorough job. Also, the dental tech was friendly and polite. She booked my appointment and worked with my schedule. The office is very clean and modern, I highly recommend it for people of all ages. Also, there's a kid's dentist next door which is amazing. Dr. Park is great and very straightforward while still being understanding and empathetic but the real stars are his staff. They're always so welcoming and quick to check you in, Grace is the best! She and everyone else goes out of their way to help you out without needing to be asked. I don't care if I move an hour away, I'm coming to BCVD always. This place one needs to be aware. They try to talk you into dental work that's not needed or necessary. Your insurance will not accept what they have submitted then they tell you you can pay out of pocket. They didn't do a good job cleaning my teeth either very poor job. I had to get them re cleaned at a new dentist. If I could do negative stars I would . 3 hours ago NEW We came to this dental office as first time patients today as an emergency visit . I asked if this office took children and they said yes. They did X-rays and was told to come back at 3:30 for a tooth extraction . When we came back I told the Dr my daughter was nervous and I told him this was her fist time ever getting a tooth extracted . He said it was normal to feel that way and then I helped him calm her to numb her . He saw that she was freaking out from the beginning but proceeded . She was okay after the numbing starting kicking in and i calmed her . He then came back about 5 mins later laid her back with out warning and opened her mouth ) along side was his dental assistant )he pulled out his tool didn't asked her if she was fully numb and before I could get the words out of my mouth and ask her started to pull . Of course she freaked and screamed . He then with frustration told her is almost out and she was saying it hurt . He stopped and told me " we are going to have to refer her to pediatrics she screaming " and so I said "she's telling you it hurts is she even numb ? I asked if you took children and they said yes " his response was " I don't take crying children I can't do this " and walked out . No gauze was given toher she was just walked out drooling everywhere and it wasn't until I was complaining at the front desk that the dental assistant offers gauze . I'm so upset and I can't believe how unprofessional and what a jerk he was . He left her traumatized. DONT BRING CHILDREN HERE! Dr Park has no patience at all. It's sad because the receptionist Ashley was awesome and sweet and the facility itself was very nice and clean but this does not reflect the customer care that is given here . Your better off else where . If you didn't take crying children when didn't he refer out to pediatrics the moment he saw she was nervous ? I was going to a dental office in Redlands. Was trying to find a new dentist close to home. I like the office. The staff seem nice. I get the impression that many of the hygienists are new. What I don't like, is that twice I have gone, had X-rays, told what I needed done, then sent home to come back another day to have done what I was told I needed. I don't know about you guys, but my boss prefers me to be at work and not needing to constantly leave early for appointments. I think some other offices have the capability and the staffing to reach out to the insurance in real time and get authorizations the same day while you're there. Or maybe it's a way to make money with an office visit fee every time. Just not sure. read more

Recently I had care from Dr Daniel Park and his office staff.....I received excellent care from everyone and I will recommend family and friends make an appointment with them because he did a nice job on front tooth crown and I had a molar pulled I didn't feel a thing and had no complications. I can't speak about or review the actual dentist because I never made it past the rude and unwelcoming front desk. They are far from helpful and almost make you feel like you're a burden. I had 3 weeks left to see them before they stopped seeing patients from my specific insurance (they were canceling their contract). The first time I called they flat out said they couldn't see me that they no longer contract with my insurance. I called my insurance and they assured me I had until the end of May to be seen then my dr would change to a different office. So I called back and spoke to another girl at the front desk. I explained I had about 3 weeks left and I had broken my tooth so I just needed it fixed. She responded that they could see me the next day but they would only look at that specific tooth and thats it. They would diagnose why it broke and they would not work on anything else I needed. I really only wanted my tooth fixed. I was not interested in any other treatments but the way she came across and talked "At" me was not professional. The front desk employees need customer service classes at the very least. I hope Dr. Park monitors his Yelp and sees that there is a customer service issue. I can't speak to Dr. Parks skill as a dentist because I never got to the actual dentistry portion of the appointment. On my way to my appointment, I got lost. Worried I would be late, I called and informed them that I was on my way. They informed me of their ten minute late policy and I assured them I would be on time. I ended up arriving 5 minutes early and then found myself waiting for an hour and twenty minutes before deciding it was time to leave. I informed them that I needed to head out seeing as that I had been there for far too long already and had yet to be seen. Aside from asking if I'd like to reschedule, no further effort was made to right the situation. I really wanted to like this office seeing as that it was my first time with them but unfortunately, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Dr Park said I needed a crown on a molar that wasn't causing me any problems. With the first shot of novacaine he sent me thru the roof. Extremely painful! The temporary crown was 2 weeks of further pain. I went to another dentist who said the crown was put on incorrectly. I ended up with a root canal, then another crown to replace the one he put on. I finally ended up getting an root canal too. I would not recommend anyone to him! read more

Called on a Tuesday with discomfort, was told I would get a call back that day for appointment, due to sewage problem. No call, when I finally got in 2days later, the dentist spent only 2-3 minutes and said I needed a "Specialist", he was unable to treat, Although his Web page and my family referral said he DID the procedure! I am not very happy with Dr. Parks receptionist, the Asian person. She is so very cold and an unhappy person. Her demeanor is one of hating her job and hating helping people out with their dental care. I called numerous times throughout the week to make an appointment and have the doctor have the lab fix my dentures. Finally on a Thursday minutes before they close did I get a phone call from sour pattypants. She said sorry we can't help you till Monday because we're getting ready to close and we're not open on Fridays. I told her I left several messages, and her response was I didn't have time to call you back till now. when you leave a message sour Pattypants says to have a blessed day. Ummm thinking maybe you should take your own advice!!! I went in today and she was on the phone with a client and was annoyed because apparently the caller couldn't come in because of an illness and needed to cancel. she stated in a huff you should have called sooner( they had just opened).You are probably wondering how I heard all of that and basically the call was on speaker. Dr. Park graduated from Loma Linda University which always produces some of the top doctors ! He has a great demeanor and he's knowledgeable and informs you as he working on your teeth what exactly he is doing and what's going on . Not to mention his staff is welcoming , positive and they confirm your dental appointment. It is then that they inform you if anything you will be responsible for paying either co payment etc. I personally came to him because I had pain in my teeth to the point it was making it difficult to eat and talk . I called the office up and they where able to get me in the next day ! The staff is knowledgeable about the various dental insurances and what they cover such as routine cleanings , fillings , etc. just like any other appointment you make it is important to go in first for a consultation . Without the consultation it's impossible to know what's going on in your mouth . You may think you need a regular cleaning and you may find out that you need to have a deep cleaning to remove decay ! Dr. Parks is a FABULOUS dentist, and as someone who has had a lot of negative experiences with dentists in this area, I do not say that lightly. 1) He explains and shows you exactly what the problem is. Tiny cavity? He pulls out the mirror and shows you. 2) He does NOT upsell you on services or procedures that aren't necessary. This is NOT a "dental mill" place! 3) he does good work! I'm the kind of patient that NEEDS to be numbed to feel safe in dental procedures. I didn't even feel so much as a pinch when he gave me my novocaine. So why not 5 stars? A couple of business practices that could be improved on. The main issue I have is that they want payment BEFORE the procedure. In all my adult life, I have never paid in advance for dental work. When it turned out that I paid for a procedure that wasn't needed, their policy is to credit your account rather than refund you. Now that I know that, I'm prepared, but the first time I had to pay in advance and not get an immediate refund was a bit of a shock. We had had a very bad experience with a dentist in Yucaipa, CA, so were hopeful to find a new dentist closer to home. STAY AWAY.In 2019 I received my Medicare and I had to leave my 30 years old dentist because he doesn't accept HMO. I started going to Dr. Daniel Park at Beaumont Cherry Valley Dental.Few months later I needed a new Crown and I was offered to choose between metal or ceramic which is $350 more and since the cosmetic look was not my concern rather the durability of the crown, I asked which one was better and I was told either one is durable and just the cosmetic look is the difference in price.I chose the metal crown and when Dr. Park fit the crown it had chipped on the surface, he went ahead and fixed it and said if there is a problem we will take care of it.Three months later I had a small piece come off the crown. I visited Dr. Park again and he said we offered you the better one and you declined but I quickly corrected him that was not the case. He then offered to replace the complete crown for a better one for additional $350. I agreed. During the next three months, Dr. Park couldn't fit the new crown in my mouth. I finally told Dr. Park I hope the next attempt will be successful since I have to go for a long road trip across the country. On the last attempt to fit the crown Dr. Park was not able to make the adjustment needed and said it is an issue with my back tooth the way it is and he said I cannot adjust it anymore and I was asked to sign a paper that all is satisfied with me and there is no warranty.Two weeks ago I was brushing my teeth at night and the crown came off.I went to my old dentist in an emergency and he found the crown very hollow and needed to make a simple adjustment. That was it, finally after 2 years of suffering at the hands of Dr. Park my problem was over. Goodbye Dr. Park.  I wish you could upgrade your skill like you did with your building. read more
