Steven has sold more than one property for other members of my family so, when it came time for me to sell my condo and look for an upgrade, I knew that I wouldn't trust that process into the care of anyone other than Steven. As for selling my condo, Steven came through before putting it on the market and we went over every single detail of my condo. He made recommendations for small and cost-effective improvements I could make before going to market to make sure I got maximum value. He also had very thoughtful and conscientious ideas for staging the condo for ultimate new buyer impact. I followed his advice meticulously and it worked in my favor. Once my work on the condo was complete, Steven came through and took professional grade photographs of my condo for the listing. I reached out to him to see if he would be willing to accompany me to a new construction development. He made himself immediately available, and as a result, I was able to secure the exact unit I wanted despite other interested parties. When it came time to write a contract and select upgrades, he was very helpful in determining which upgrades actually added value for resale purposes and which upgrades would be just for me, in the sense that they didn't necessarily add a lot of value. My new home took approximately six months to complete and Steven was there for every step of the process. He made himself available for every meeting from the pre-drywall walk through, to the final inspection before settlement. He knew all the right questions to ask during every meeting and I felt like I had the perfect person in my corner representing my interests. Again, there was an issue with the appraisal and a subsequent settlement reschedule, and Steven was right there in the thick of things making sure that I got everything I needed to make my new adventure a complete success. He knew exactly when to push and when to relent, and without him, I cannot imagine how awful the process would have been. All in all, I have never experienced the kind of service from a realtor that Steven provides. He really cares about his clients and truly wants the best for you. Buying a first home is a scary prospect; there's just no way around it..or so I thought. Time and time again we'd been told the key is to find a great realtor, and that's what we got working with Steve. We just closed on our first choice home in DC this week and looking back on the last few months of working with him, a few things stand out as truly exceptional. First, regardless of time of day (or night) he would make himself available by phone, text, or email and always got back to me within a matter of minutes (as opposed to hours or days). Even for an innocuous, basic question I had, he'd get back to me quickly and - mostly importantly - never made me feel silly for asking. Throughout the process he encouraged us to ask questions. This was especially critical when preparing to make an offer as he was more than glad to talk me through every aspect of the paperwork. Second, he helped guide us throughout the entire process in a way that did not leave us too overwhelmed. Just cannot say enough good things about Steven!! He is so dedicated and professional; he went above and beyond the normal call of duty for any realtor keeping in touch and working with us even when he was on vacation.
