My pregnancy took a sudden turn at 38 weeks and I was told I would need an emergency C at OB triage. Dr. Maccleary Price SHOWED UP to the hospital within 15 minutes for the c-section. When has an OB showed up to the hospital so quickly? SHE'S AMAZING! She ended up determining that I would be able to deliver naturally and I'm so happy I listened to her advice. Labor and delivery was smooth sailing with her and I was able to deliver in 25 minutes thanks to her wonderful coaching and instructions. I would recommend anyone and everyone to Dr. MP. I didn't wait very long. From there, I sat with the doctor's assistant, also named Emily. She was very thorough and efficient at her job. She also listened to my concern about taking blood pressure before and after my visit as a personal preference. I appreciated her for this. Dr. Schlecht herself was a very friendly doctor and she also listened to me as well about my needs and she also provided patient education where I might've had this information about mammograms versus MRIs and what they pick up. I appreciate her patience and her kind bedside manner. When I was done, I met Gail who is the in-house phlebotomist representing Sonora Quest and she was very kind had such a great personality and she made my visit very fun. Enjoyable. You can tell she's a caring and compassionate woman and they're lucky to have her in the office as well. Finally, when it was time to check out, I was again impressed with Emily, the receptionist for giving me preparation; a slip of paper explaining that they even have in-house ultrasound and that a woman named Jill causes insurance the Monday or Tuesday before hand to verify coverage and to get pre-authorization and I just think that this practice has their stuff together. These workers have showed me no compassion and have cancelled on me 3 times already after having to wait a month just to get an appointment. My birth control has been effecting my mood and mental health which is why I wanted to change it but it feels like this office is doing everything to stop me from getting it taken out. My first appointment for a new birth control was back in January. I still have not got what I wanted and I'm at the point of finding a new doctor's office completely. It should not take 4+ months to change out someone's birth control who has completed decided on that decision. I would save your time scheduling here, they'll probably just cancel on you anyway.
