This was the worst experience I've ever had with a dental office. I made an appointment MONTHS ago…read morefor two broken teeth. I have autoimmune diseases that affect my health in various ways. One tooth was so incredibly painful! They told me that the soonest I could get in was today, January 30th. I think this was 3 months after I called. They told me in the meantime, I could go to the emergency room, or get antibiotics from my doctor. My doctor did help me, thank goodness! They texted me that I had an appointment today, which I was aware of. I didn't know I needed to text back. I also missed a phone call from them the same day. Apparently, they cancelled my appointment and I didn't know. I went in today with my husband who took the day off from work to be with me. My anxiety was already high because it was a brand new dentist office for me and I was nervous about my broken teeth. The office manager came out to explain what had happened. At first she said my appointment was cancelled because I didn't respond to the text, then she told me it was cancelled because someone was sick that day. That made me upset, because I felt like she wasn't being honest with me. I asked her which one was it and she got angry with me! She raised her voice and started yelling at me that I was being hostile! I was upset that my appointment had been cancelled, the fact that I had waited 3 months to even get in with 2 broken/infected teeth, she was being deceptive about why they had to cancel, and also, the text didn't make sense and had improper grammar. I didn't read all of it the day I got it, because the first sentence was just confirming the appointment that I had made. I asked her to speak to someone else (hoping to stop the yelling she was doing), but she said that she was it and she was the office manager. She wax extremely rude and condescending and kept talking over me. I asked her to please stop and can we just look at the next available appointment? She got belligerent and told me she was done with me and to leave. I have NEVER been spoken to in that way from an 'office manager '. I'm glad that I did leave because if that's what they see as professional, I don't want to have any part of their business. They need to be more understanding and empathetic when it comes to stressful situations. They definitely shouldn't have someone so rude representing their office. It was disgusting and demeaning! I don't know how the service of the technicians and dentists were because I never got to see them. Instead of giving me the run around and trying to put me in my place do the was 'right ', all she had to do was calmly say, "I'm sorry there was miscommunication, let's see when we can get you in next time." She argued and blamed me instead snd said I was being hostile. She definitely shouldn't be working in a customer care position!!!

I had some composite bonding done here awhile back. I left a message after hours to see if there was any possibility they might be able to see me the very next day to repair a small chip, as I had a formal event that weekend and was hoping to have it fixed before then. They squeezed me in during their LUNCH hour the next day to repair my tooth! Their customer service is wonderful and their staff are always so incredibly kind and helpful! I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone!!

The initial appointment where the impression of my teeth was taken was a bit weird. It was late in the day, there was a big remodel happening at their office and a patient fell down on their way out of the exam room. It wasn't a great first experience. The appointment to have the crown put on my implant went much better. Sadie, who was working with Dr. Whitlock, was very nice. Dr. Whitlock did a great job explaining to me what he was doing. The procedure was painless (except for the sting of the Novacaine shot) and the crown fit perfectly. I will be going back soon for a cleaning. Happy to have found a new dentist.

We payed for the treatment at the time of service and thought that we were done. Several months later we received a bill from them, stating it was for my work. Our insurance sent us a statement claiming that it had been filed as something else. When confronted about the bill, the office staff treated me like I knew nothing, talked over me, and put me down, not letting me get in a word edgewise. We payed the bill, still not understanding why, and left the practice. Fast forward a few months, I found another dentist, and at our first cleaning, he saw what looked like faulty work. When confronted with it, Dr Allen called me a liar to my face and said so to the other dentist. When I called and asked him about it, obviously unhappy about being called a liar, he defended his position and HUNG UP ON ME without letting me say anything but hello. When I tried to say anything, he just talked louder and faster. I was upset, yes, but I was still trying to be curteous and polite. I called back to talk to him. He refused to talk to me, and had a dental assistant talk to me instead. I was able to have a conversation with her, one where I was finally listened to, and we were able to resolve the bill question, and talk about the work (not faulty). I would have been totally happy with this office if I had never run into any problems. Unfortunately, when I did have a problem, they would not take the time to professionally explain the matter. Only ignored my questions, talked over me, degraded me, and would not listen to anyone but themselves. Had they addressed the problems in a different way, they would still have my business. But when I can't trust them, or bring up my problems with them, it's time to change. And calling someone a liar without bothering to listen to them is NEVER ok, especially in a professional setting. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them because of this.
