So of course, however many (10+) years later, I realize I really need to do this scary thing, and of course recovery is going to be just peachy because I'm older now. Thank goodness I found Dr. Shemen. Other reviews mentioned that he's no nonsense, which he is, but he is also extremely understanding, takes the time to explain everything to you, and is very kind. His open approach definitely helped me deal with my anxiety about having major surgery, and I never felt rushed or belittled during any of my appointments with him. He even has a good sense of humor! I also have to hand it to his staff, especially Jeff. I mentioned I was anxious about this? You have no idea - but Jeff does! Every time I called with a question or concern, no matter how silly, random, or urgent, Jeff got back to me in hours, sometimes literally minutes. If I called before or after business hours, Jeff or even Dr. Shemen himself would call me back to make sure I got the answers I needed to feel comfortable. We needed to reschedule my surgery twice due to unforeseen life stuff, and Jeff was so sweet and helpful in making sure everything happened as it should and to minimize any negative impact. It meant a lot to me that I was treated as a person and not a number. The reception staff at the office were lovely too. Even though there's sometimes a bit of a wait, the staff was very communicative about where you were in line, they were kind and accommodating, offering water or the bathroom, and answered questions while you waited if you had them. Regarding the wait, Dr. Shemen has late days, which is great for us working folks, but it also means that there will be some waiting around since those are popular times and Dr. Shemen takes the time to speak to you and make sure you're good, unlike some other doctors. The times I've been able to go during the day when most people can't go, I've been seen almost immediately. Long story short - thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Shemen and staff, for an extremely positive experience!

Dr. Mittleman is a true gentleman, a nice man. He is the doctor you want to see. He took care of my son year's ago and now my wife. He is a delightful-warm personality person. Always a nice smile. His office is run by three efficient-caring ladies. We came in and ready to see the doctor within minutes. They take a tremendous amount of insurance plans and we cover the copay with flex. Unethical and Predatory Practices I visited his office for…read morewhat was a simple sinus infection. Dr. Tandon did not take the time to listen to my symptoms. Instead, he immediately attempted to perform an endoscopy without my consent and billed me over $1,000 for it. This was entirely unnecessary for a routine sinus infection. They also invoiced for 45-minute visit when it literally took 5 minutes I left the appointment with no prescription, just a book recommendation on Amazon. When I later messaged the office about worsening symptoms (yellow/brown mucus), I was told I had to schedule another visit--less than a week after my first appointment. Only after I said I would have raised the issue with my insurance did Dr. Tandon call me later in the day, saying he could not prescribe an antibiotic without a CT scan but he would have done an exception For reference, I ultimately resolved my infection with a $6 antibiotic prescribed elsewhere.

I saw Dr Tandon yesterday with a flu at 102.2. My body had been in pain from head to toe and I was miserable. His nurse (Erica) was a sweetheart and was very hospitable as she told me twice "If you need anything, let me know" This is patient care! When Dr Tandon came in, he got right to business and asked me about my symptoms as well as discuss what I've been feeling lately. He makes eye contact and is very forward in his approach. This is a doctor who LISTENS and actually shows care. He's efficient and talks with you as he performs anything so nothng comes as a surprise. Book an appointment with him today.
